Biography
The soft sage-colored moss crunched softly under her delicate paws. The moonlight cast an eerie yellow glow in the horizon and the sky was weaved with pale, translucent milky nets covered delicate diamond-like stars. Absolutely beautiful. Where her pack lived, there was rarely black sky. It was either a mix of dark indigo, or pale violet. In the distance, there were streaks of rose pink and pale yellow. It was a single plain, with tall grasses covering the field. Prey was easy to find, as well as enemies.. waiting in the grass. Something had called her forth tonight. Maybe it was the uncanny silence, because no crickets sung that night, or was it the fact that she was the only wolf guarding the pack while they slept, she did not know. Moon was glad to be away from her pack mates. They cared about each other,as well as her.. but she never felt important. It didn't matter anyways. She knew her pack loved her, as well as her delicate mum, but she knew the pack would not need her. How would she earn her keep in her next pack that she would be sent to? The thought hurt, but Moon bit down- hard on the ridge of her paw. A small drop of blood and her sharp, startled yelp before she felt a cold stiffness pass through her. Something.. whispered to her.. encouraging her- but to do what exactly? The young pup could not identify the words and shuddered, tucking her tail between her legs, lowering her muzzle, and tucking her ears behind the tuft on her fluffy head. This was too much. She wanted to run, but something kept her there, petrified and shivering. But it urged her forward.. further away from were the pack was sleeping, but close enough so they could hear her if she sounded the warning bark. Her inner instincts told her to bark until she was hoarse and run back to her pack mates, Moon knew better. She wasn't in danger.. yet?
Practically dragged to a high peak on the chip of the moor, she edged her muzzle forward to gaze at the moon. This seemed to be the highest area where she could see the moon.. and she felt a strong urge to call whichever wolf who led her here forward. Moon knew it was crazy. What would her pack mates think of her, leaving duty and the wolves unattended? What if the spirit was displeased with her wolf and left to to melt in even worse self esteem? The young wolf thought about her mother, her father, her siblings, her current, and future pack. She lifted her muzzle and howled.

Just 12, (TWELVE?!)
I guess your time is coming.. when you'll have to leave to join your former packmates and parents.. You were one of the most inspiring, powerful but gentle wolf in the pack. Your beautiful voice spoke for all the wolves (and got me mushrooms) and your beauty overall.. wow.. you weren't the dream wolf I was expecting. It felt like just yesterday I bought you, not realizing for your skill and when I first gave Howl at the Moon" a go, you were the second to try, because I ironically named you Moon not because of your unknown skills. The shock when we saw your howling rate. Now, as you grow old, I still see the young, sweet child I once bought. Never have you faltered as the rose the pack, beautiful, bright, and calling for attention. You've earned one of the most respectful places in the pack and until you die, enjoy your last days. You may not be alpha, but you are our queen.
