The purple an eye,
The eye of a wolf,
A glow of purple on a white snowbound turf,
With head titling up,
Voice sang on,
Happy at first,
Sad though long,
Eco over far,
Yet ending complete,
The heart of this she-wolf skips a beat,
She never stops searching,
Though nothing's there,
Her love hid his tracks with in a dare,
Though thoughtless they were now smart she became,
This whole thing started when the moon and sea sang.
