Biography
Cream paws hit the forest floor silently as a large wolf carried two pieces of fresh meat in it's maw, a thrush, and rabbit. This wolf was something special, he was kind to all and very hardworking, usually getting stuff done with a determined mindset.
Setting the rabbit and thrush down the wolf shook out it's beautiful white and brown pelt, aqua eyes scanning the clearing as it sat down, digging his claws into the soft earth before bending down and taking multiple bites from the rabbit.
After he ate his fill the wolf stood and gave a luxurious stretch, fanning out his tail as if it was banner before he stood once more and licked the blood from his maw. Grabbing the uneaten thrush he padded over to an old oak and began to dig, in an attempt to bury the food for later.
'No time to waste, I have to get my den built.'
With that thought, the wolf buried the thrush and gazed up at the sun, it was already midday he hoped to get the den built before nightfall. Quickly, he ran over to a large willow tree a bit away and began to dig and tear at the roots, tearing endlessly in a flurry of claws. He had dug some earlier so it was beginning to look a bit better.
Working tirelessly the wolf dug and dug further under and into the large willow, widening it out and removing any rocks and roots. The wolf was quite known, but he chose to live on his own, nonetheless, other wolves admired his kind and nice nature. As he grabbed a couple more roots and twigs slowly he backed out of the den and disposed of them next to the large sunning-rock that was right next to the nearby trees.
By the time night had fallen his, or their, den was complete. His aqua eyes glimmered at his work and he dug up the thrush, taking it in the den for a well-deserved meal. He would save some though, for she would return soon. Once he squeezed in through the tiny entrance it widened into a large dugout, underground den, it had been completed in two days and he was quite proud of himself for the work he had accomplished.
Just then a set of emerald green eyes appeared in the darkness, a smile spread across his maw once he heard her words. Sitting down he brought the thrush in and saved the rest for her, his true queen.
"You are just in time, Joan. Come and eat."
