Biography
Hedwig never knew her parents. To her that honor went to a snowy owl that found her alone in a snowbank. It was hard learning how to follow her new found mum when she flew from coast to coast, but she quickly learned the best way travel to and fro. She learned to hunt on silent paws and strike when her pray couldn't see her.
Her mother owl, after three years teaching and guiding her, began to slow as the days past. Her flight was not as graceful, her eyes not as sharp, her beautiful feathers falling to the snowy ground. One night, mother owl fluttered down and snuggled against Hedwig's soft speckled fur. The night was cold so she didn't think much of it. The next morning, she awoke to mother owl gone and wings on her back. Wings that looked exactly like mother owl's. For the first time in her life she wept.
Proud of being chosen to carry on mother owl's legacy, she also knew that she would need to be careful. A winged wolf was not something to be seen every day.
Five short months later, she came upon an alpha pair. They did not shun her for her legacy, in fact, they believed her to be blessed by mother magic and welcomed her with pricked ears and gently wagging tails.
