Biography
As a young pup Apache lived with his parents and two siblings but that didn't last long. On a cool summer day his parents decided to move to a new location before the weather got to hot to travel. As a family they began to relocate searching for a territory rich with prey to feed their growing pack. After a couple hours the family stopped to rest in a shady clearing. Apachie's sibling took the chance to take a quick rest but Apache wasn't tired and went into the bushes to explore the surrounding area. He was stalking a frog when he heard a loud sound and smelt the strong scent of blood. Frightened he ran towards the clearing he had left but his big paws got in the way and he tripped over a root as he heard another loud sound. When he finnaly made it back to the clearing his family was gone. All that remained was the smell of people (it overpowered all other smells) and a puddle of blood.
Apache spent days looking for his family before finally excepting they had died. He knew this when he saw a human with a strange stick stalking a herd of deer. He heard the same loud noise from when his family disapeared followed by a large buck falling over and quickly dying. He tried to quickly run away but it was to late the hunter spotted him and easily outran him. Before he knew it he was in the hunters arms. He struggled fighting with all the strength he had he even got a hold of the hunters sleave but his small puppy teeth were hopeless. The next thing he knew he was in what the humans call a car then a house and last a dog run.
The dog run naturally was outside. It had two bowls for food and water a dog house and inside of his home was a bed. Apache longed to be back in the wild where he belonged but little did he know he would spend a whole year being treated as a pet. He would be treated as if he where a dog especially by the hunters child. The child was the only source of exitment in his life and the only human he would ever like.
After a year of being in the run Apache was ready to be free. He had a plan ready and it was about to go into action. The child was coming through the gate to the run with a brush in her hand and Apache stood at the gate waiting. As soon as she opened the gate Apache ran past her pushing her a little to get past. He heard her yell something in a panicked tone of voice. He didn't want to hurt her feelings but he had to go so he looked back for just a moment as an apoligy and promised himself not to take of his colar so he could remember this one human who wasnt like the others. Then he ran as fast and far as he could into a nearby forest.
He soon was taken on by an old wise wolf who taught Apache how to hunt and protect himself. He spent two years with this wolf then one day Apache found himself alone again. The wolf who Apache knew as Lightning was showing how to fish. They where walking along the side of the river when Lightning narrowly avoided a hidden bear trap. He had jumped back trying not to get caught and landed hard inches away from the fast flowing river. The landing was just enough force to make the bank crumble away and into the water and with it came Lightning taking him away not willing to let him reach the edge of the river until he was dead.
After what had happened Apache named the river after Lightning. Then not long after that he met Aspen. They decided to start a pack and they named it the Lightning River Pack. Apache not wanting to copy his parents mistake alowed Lady Luna and Burn to join his pack before having pups so they could be more protected from humans. Finally after much waiting Aspen had her first pup and Apache was overjoyed to have a family again.
