Biography Named after my cat, Patches, that passed away on 6/13/16. I wish him the best, and I wish for him to rest in blissful peace. Patchie (his nickname) was a lively cat that always made everyone smile. He got along with everyone, yet he was still always shy with new people. Patchie was a gray cat with white chest, paws, underside, and nose. He had faint gray rings on his tail, yellow eyes, and a pink nose. Patchie was a fighter until the end. He lived a full life, yet he was taken too soon. We are comforted with the knowledge that he passed quickly, and that the vets did everything that they could to try and save him. Patchie is resting now. He is comforted with the rest of his family. He is breathing easily and will never again know discomfort.

| Personality Patchie was lively, happy, kind, gentle, caring, nurturing, and a wonderful cat overall. He was mischevious, however, as he always found joy in bolting out of the front door, always running to the same hole that lead underneath the porch. He was an indoor cat. Patchie was buried right outside of the hole that he always ran underneath.
Preferences Patchie always loved laying in the sun. He was buried in a place where he could always see it. As a kitten, Patchie always loved it when I read to him. He'd curl up in my lap as I spent hours reading to him. Patchie always loved curling up to people, especially in the crook of my elbow. It took time, but Patchie always loved spending time with our other cat, Cece. She is grieving along with the rest of us. Patches loved spending time underneath my bed, sleeping, grooming, or just sitting. I had to try hard to get him out before I went to bed. On some weekend mornings, Patchie would come into my room and try to wake me up. He'd gently claw my face, he'd crawl underneath the blankets, he'd sometimes even sit on my face. I'll miss this so much. Patchie was a headbutter. Whenever he had the opportunity, he'd go in for a headbutt. This is one of the biggest things that I'll miss about him.
Special Skills Patchie was a skilled mouse hunter. He'd chase the mice that got into the house all the way up until the end.
I was able to teach him a few simple tricks, including sit and to stand on his hind legs. He was a very smart kitty.
Patchie was an excellent cat. He was the most skilled cat in my eyes. I wish him the best where he is now.
