She watched her adopted children say their farewells, and she nuzzled Dove one last time before returning to Golden Eye's side.
"Why do they need to go? They can't just stay here..." She sighed, closing her eyes, not wanting to see them leave.
"They left because of Storm. Now, if you don't want to be caught here while they're leaving, I suggest we report back to camp." She nodded, nuzzling her mate.
"I just don't know if I'll be able to let them go..." She whispered, tears forming in her eyes.
He didn't answer, but instead gave her a reassuring lick on the forehead.
"I'll always be here to keep you company." He said, walking back towards camp.
"Okay..." She quietly added, following him.
the cold winter ground made her paws frozen, and she entered the camp gracefully, not making a sound.
She caught bits of the elders talking a froze.
"The red Clover is near hear, we need to get to a different camp, far from here." She heard Cocoa say.
"You know that isn't possible." Tiger added, something in his voice that made her feel uneasy.
" Stop trying to fill in the blanks. if we can survive Storm, we can survive anything." Rose told him, sounding courageous.
Sick of hearing the Greys gossip, she made her way to her den, fear for her children settling in like snow banks piling up in a blizzard.
