Dawn's light had not yet broken over the cusp of mountain's peak, giving the old pines a swarthy shade. The branches of the valley's brush twisted upward and out like haggard black fingers desperate for the relief of light. Cold mist wove it's fingers around each bend kissing frosty dew drops to every twig's tip. It would be there, within the haunted hollow, one could catch glimpse of another world - One where shadows have nightmares, and the mist has dreams. That is where you could find her, hunting, watching... Another heart beat and you have lost grasp of the dream, and return to your own reality without explanation or cause.
