Hina partly means 'place in the sun' in Japanese which is 日向
Hina ran around her pack's territory. Her siblings close behind her. Her sliver pelt rippled against the wind. She yelped when her brother nipped her silver tail. She laughed and ran to tag her brother back but before she could, her mother called her siblings and her. The three pups trotted back to the den where their grey-pelted mother was waiting patiently for them.
Hina lived like this for the next couple weeks, going out to play in the sun with her siblings, sleeping outside in a shady but sunny place, learning from her parents, living without a care in the world. In a few short weeks, Hina was to train how to hunt and fight. Her mentor was a young black-pelted she-wolf named Sabaru. Sabaru was pretty and nice but a elite hunter. Sabaru made sure Hina was going to be one the pack's best hunters. Over the course of the next few weeks, Sabaru trained Hina and honed her skills. By the age of 2, Hina was an superb hunter and fighter.
Hina fought in a fight against a pack that one of her pack mates was able to led them into the other pack's territory. Hina fought and brought down many wolves but she was never able to kill them. Hina saw many wolves that day get injured. One of them being her own future mate that she never knew will be.
Hina was competitive.
Any wolf could see that. Hina had natural skills that came easily to her. Sabaru noticed that and trained Hina even harder and made sure Hina tried not to get too competitive, Hina trained easily but still had trouble to keep her self maintained. One day, while hunting with her other pack mates, Hina and her pack encountered bears. Hina got competitive and tried to prove her pack that she will the best hunter ever. But things went wrong. Instead of defeating the bears, her pack had to retreat and most of her pack mates got injured and Sabaru, who was in the hunt patrol, nearly died, being the one that got injured the most. Hina blamed herself. One of her friends got injured and nearly died because of her and her competitiveness.
Hina ran away in the next couple days. She was able to survive in a unknown territory. One day she came over a dark grey male, the one that she saw get injured during the pack fight. His name was Kage. Hina was able to stay with Kage although Kage couldn't trust many wolves. When they exchange stories about how they were lone wolves, Hina knew she couldn't tell Kage that she was one the wolves that attacked his former pack for one reason: she was in love with Kage.
Over time, Kage and Hina confessed their love with each other and decided to start a pack. Hina still never told Kage that she was the one who attacked Kage's pack. Hina soon was carrying their pack's next alphas and Kage's and Hina's pups.
