One year ago, I decided to sign up for a peculiar little website, after a friend recommended it to me.
Little did I know that that website would mean so much to me.
It's funny, really. For the first month or so, I never talked in chat. I was too nervous. Eventually though, I decided to say hello...and everything was just amazing from then on. It became about more than just my little pack.
I made friends. Amazing friends. People who mean the world to me, and I don't know what I'd do without.
I've gathered two 55Rs. The first, designed after an OC that I cherish, a result of 4 months of intense hoarding...as well as the kindness of others. The other? A complete gift, made out of the hearts of my friends.
I managed to complete my goal of earning 1000 paws up in less than a year. In fact, I did it in 8 months.
I improved on my art. Honestly, feedback from people on WP is a majority of what keeps me going on that little hobby. I might just even have my sights set on a career in graphics one day. And streaming is one of my favorite past times.
I was given support in my time of need. Back in August, due to personal reasons, I almost quit the game. But... the amount of support changed my mind. Countless comments, PMs, saying kind words that I still have saved to my phone to make me smile.
I've laughed, I've cried, I've grown and I've changed.
All because I decided to say hello in the chat box on the side of a Wolf SIM game, and decided to be myself and nobody but myself.
Honestly? I'm at a loss for words. Looking back...the kindness I've been given is just unbelievable. I didn't think in a million years that so many people would think of me, smile with me, share the amazing memories I've had on this little game with me.
