Savanna opened her gold and green eyes taking in all that was around her. Calico her mother was sitting not far away morning the loss of her mate Grey Tiger. Savanna sighed she had been passed over many times when picking a beta they had always looked to another of Calico's pups. since Savanna was not grey tiger's pup she was not pure alpha blood there for her pack didn't think she could be beta or alpha however the first of calico's pups, Spike, lily and Rose, had left to join another pack. latter Calico's pups from her other litter, valley, wisp and flight, had died from a bad sickness. the pack was now onto Calico's 3rd little of witch now only had 1 pup since the other two, feather and storm, had also died from the sickness so no there was only Cona left and he didn't wan't to be alpha. infact Savanna knew at this moment he had left to join a female from another pack who he loved and that was why the whole pack was searching everywhere for him Savanna had liked Cona he was the only wolf who ever understood Savanna, who had lost her siblings, fawn and stepper, at a young age. so Savanna would not tell them where Cona was for fear they would make him leave the wolf he loved however Calico was sitting not far away her head low she had lost so many pups 11 where gone and now she only had savanna and her lattes little of three males,coco, pine and oak, who were no more then a few weaks old so they couldn't lead the pack Savanna sighed she should be happy that she would now lead the pack but now seeing her mother so sad Savanna didn't know what to think should she lead the pack or tell her mother about Cona. taking a deep breath Savanna walked up to Calico "umm mother can i talk to you please" Calico looked at Savanna blankly and fallowed her over to a empty den "mother uhh please don't worry about Cona i.. i just know he's fine" Calico jumped up "you know where he is tell me! we have to bring him back" Savanna shook her head "i'm sorry i can't tell you where he is" Calico growled "why? is it so that you can be alpha" Savanna shook her head "No Cona is with his mate that's why" Calico looked at her shocked Savanna contiued "He told me to please not to tell you cuz you would make him leave her and their pups" Savanna sighed her head low she turned to leave the den "wait" Calico cried "Savanna i'm so sorry i didn't know i..i just wanted my pup back" Savanna felt rage fill her "well you should have thought of that before passing me over time and time again like i was nother more then fox scat" Savanna cried shooting out of the den and running to the forest. When she had finally stoped Savanna lay with her head on her paws. suddenly a dark shadow coverd the grass looking up Savanna saw something that made her blood turn cold with fear. A huge dark creature towered infront of her, big claws and teath were shinning in the moon light. Whimpering Savanna crouched her fur standing on end as the creature moved closer. Calico sighed her eyes dark had she just lost yet another pup? She had loved Savanna and yet she had not wanted her to be alpha when she was not tiger's pup. Suddenly Calico heard a shriek "Savanna" she gasped wiping around she raced out in to the forest and there laying on the blood soked grass was Savanna. Savanna shrieked in pain as the creature slammed a paw into her side leaping up Savanna drove her claws and teeth into it's neck. The Creature let out a loud roar shook her over and then turned and lumbered away. As Savanna watched it leave her gaze clouded and everything went dark. Calico starred at her daughter laying in the grass with blood drenching her fur. racing forward Calico began licking Savanna as the pack gathered around. Worry written on their faces. Blizzard a young male who had always loved Savanna stepped forward and gently licked her ears. Savanna opened her eyes and instantly felt pain flash through her wincing she saw a pair of paw in front of her. Looking up Savanna saw a handsome male who had long grey fur and a patch of cream by his eye. The male led her over to a stream and looked in. Glancing down Savanna saw that she had the same cream mark. Savanna starred at him "you..you're my father, Azreal, aren't you" Azreal nodded his gold and green eyes flashing, "Savanna" he murmured "my little one, you have had a hard life but don't worry you will soon become alpha, and you will lead your pack well. You have seen and faced more things then any wolf your age and soon your patience will be rewarded" Savanna looked away "i'm not sure mother will ever let me be alpha" Azreal licked her ear "Calico is just concerned about you she doesn't want to loss you like she lost ->

Your siblings" Savanna growled in anger "why couldn't she have just had pups with Tiger why did i have to born at all" Azreal closed his eyes for a heartbeat "your mother and i loved each other she never loved Tiger as a mate but when she became alpha she had to be with him as a mate because he was chosen at birth the be the alpha's mate" Savanna glared at him "what has that got to do with me" Azreal sighed "Calico didn't want you to have to love a wolf you didn't love and since Blizzard and you always fight she knew it would be bad if you two were together" Rage overtook Savanna and she barred her teeth at him "did she ever bother to ask eather of us if we really hated each other" when Azreal shook his head Savanna continued her gaze softening "i love Blizzard with all my heart that's why I wanted to be alpha not because I'm power crazy but because I couldn't bare to see Blizzard with someone else" Azreal looked at her surprise in his eyes, suddenly Savanna heard someone calling her "your pack is calling say nothing of this meeting to anyone" Azreal reaches foward a touched nosses with her "good bye my daughter until we meet again"~~~~~~~~~~~~Calico watched as Blizzard crept closer laying his cheek on Savanna's, could Blizzard actually love Savanna Calico thought to herself, no she shook her head but as she watch love entered Blizzard's eyes, suddenly Savanna stirred "Savanna" Blizzard gasped his eyes sad.
Savanna whimpered her eyes flicked open and she looked up to see Blizzard looking down at her Savanna gently reached up and licked his nose.
