Pera Oh, I am a barefoot truther all the way. I like socks when it's cold, otherwise I'm going dogs out. |

@Virgo I meant to respond but that picture is EXACTLY how it went down while we chased him through the woods. We had like 10 people chasing him because the neighboring family who was driving home stopped and ended up helping us LOL. All of us were collectively meowing followed by the screech of the kitten x'D |

@Petri lol, luckily we keep his bowl in the kitchen, but somehow he always seems to flood the kitchen- makes walking around in socks a pain |

Ink He sounds like a cutie patootie! And yeah, it's a plus that he'll likely never be a counter surfer. |

Pera It usually just stays around the fountain he drinks from. I rarely step over there and it isn't a lot of water, but I get your disliking of wet carpet. The possibility of mold is insane. |

@Kitten On the bright side, the condition isn't progressive/degenerative. It never worsens or causes any issues other than being very clumsy. I believe they don't even realize anything is "Wrong". They learn how to work around the balance and coordination problems. He's very lively and has a nice belly on him lol. He's so big from when we first got him, it's insane! Of course, he's not fully grown. I'll eventually share some photos from when we first got him vs now. Another plus about his condition is he won't jump on the counter while we make food xD |

Ink Oh, the poor thing! I hope he continues to get stronger! Pera It's mostly on carpet and my mattress that he gets the water. Nothing to really clean up, just to dry off. |

@Tober I'm crying, that's gotta be the funniest thing. This is why I couldn't be a mom, I'd start laughing on the spot ToT |

I just love when my toddler spits his juice out and then slips on it because he was running away from me |

@Kitten you would think but no he was just young due to the area, we're pretty sure he was abandoned. People here don't like paying the surrender fees at the shelter that's a few miles up the road from my grandpa's house, so they dump them near his place because they've realized it's cheaper. Since we've had him, he's grown huge. He's bigger than some of our other kittens we rescued from the trap & release my aunt was doing and the few of them are a little older. The vet suggested the wobbly kitten syndrome because he also has "intention tremors" which means when he tries to focus on stuff like eating, his head wobbles around. He's gotten a little better as he gets older, but he also won't jump up on to high places for example. He also panics if you hold him up too high, he has over exaggerated movements. Basically he meets all of the criteria for the hypoplasia thing. My grandpa has a black cat with the same condition, but his is more severe. |
