I knew the end was near, but there was no regret. I am joining my true love in the heavens. The pack is in the good hands of our son and his mate. I do not fear anything anymore. My whole life was lived in the dark, but now it is time for me to step into the light. My breathing is slow and it won't be long now. She is calling, I must run to her.

Edme watched as the ladder of stars descended, Skaarsgard beconked her. As she followed Skaarsgard up the ladder of stars, into the Cave of Souls, she finally mended. Edme wept tears of joy as the eye she had lost returned, finally she was no longer malchad. Edme remembered her past life as Stormfast, and as she entered the Cave of Souls for once in her life Edme MacHeath felt whole.

The ladder of stars fell from the sky, lighting up the path to the Cave of Souls. Skaarsgard called to him. As Faolan touched the stars, his past lives came back to him; his life as the first Fengo, Eo the grizzly bear, and Fionula the owl. Faolan became peaceful. The mysterys of his life were solved. He could see his mate now, Edme, or Stormfast. He howled in delight and began to run, leaving Skaarsgard in the dust.

The tear streaked faces of my pack mates loomed over me, my friends and family were here for my final moments. My mate, Night Sky, touched his nose to mine and whispered a final goodbye. I looked over the faces of my kin, I was finally at peace. My sister, Clover, nuzzled me one last time, and my son, Faolan, howled a goodbye. It was then that I took my last breath, and descended into the stars.

I ascend to the heavens quickly, for my time ruling the pack has ended. I do not grieve for my lost life. I have bigger things to handle now. Soon my beloved Hera will join me, and we will be king and queen again.

It's time for me to join my other half in the heavens, I leave behind my son in charge. I know that he will lead well. I must work hard to keep my place in the hierarchy of our ancestors, I know that Zeus will be hell-bent on being the top dog, and I cannot let anyone else lead beside him.

Topaz lead the pack alongside his mate, Amethyst, in a time of crisis. The pack had fallen apart and lost all strength and fighting spirit. Despite all this he pushed through, keeping his wolves alive and together even when the fight seemed pointless. He died before choosing an heir, and Amethyst was left to keep the pack together on her own. He watches over her every day and sends her strength from the heavens.

Amethyst knew the end was near for her. She did not weep nor was she frightened, for she had chosen an heir and he had found a mate. The pack was in good hands. Amethyst was reunited with Topaz in the heavens and their love lasts eternally.

Gamora disliked most of the pack, but she stayed and fought to rebuild it for her mate. Though she might not have loved the pack she did love him. Everything she did was for the benefit of the pack and she never faultered in her leadership. Gamora produced the first female heir. She is beyond proud of her daughter for showing everyone how strong a girl can be.

Starlord was a brave and dedicated leader. His pack meant the world to him and nothing but death could separate him from it. He fought to live even after his mate had joined the heavens. He needed to be sure his daughter would continue to lead the pack towards greatness. Once he was satisfied that she would, he took his place in the heavens.
