| I'm surprised the shelter opted to place a H+ dog. Hopefully that means she's been doing well with treatment! Have your vet take a look at her history and do an exam if she continues to pant. I wouldn't worry toooo much given the situation. She's probably just a little worried about the move. Good luck! |

| Heartworms put a huge strain on the heart and lungs. Depending on the severity of the infection as well as her current prognosis there could be cause for concern there. H+ dogs definitely can have a more difficult time. Do you know her medical history? |

| Tern, Alright, thanks. Never, She has a whole bowl of clean cold water over in the kitchen, she has heartworms so can that probably be another reason? She's my first dog so I have no idea if it can also cause panting. |

| Oh! Well a complete change in environment and people, would absolutely cause some extra stress! It's probably just that. They can take a while to get adjusted :) |
