| Tern, If you just told them yesterday, I'd say give them some grace. Reminders don't have to be aggressive, just a simple, "Oh, I know the namechange was recent for you, but I'd prefer if you used my new name" can work :) |

| Tern, As someone who has many trans or genderqueer friends/family members, mistakes happen, especially so if they have known you for years as your deadname. Just correct it when it happens & they'll retrain their brains to the new name. If they care for you & are a genuine friend, it's not out of malice ♡ |
