You can get more den slots by buying apples from Realm > Barter > Apples. It takes money that you have in the real world. Once you buy apples, you can go to Pack Expansions underneath Barter then Apples, scroll down a little bit to “Den Expansion” and click buy. You get 5 additional den slots per 10 apples. <3
