Oh, that's awful. I'm going to be honest, I don't like boba at all unless it's homemade. Factories can't make them to my brain's liking.

I want to be happy that they're squishy- because I hate when boba is too firm

Except it isn't
I *love* caviar. Haven't had it in years, but I can do caviar, probably because they're firm and pop?

But the tiny boba are squishy ToT

It really is sad. I work in a vet hospital and I've had more huskies, Dalmatians, and chihuahuas try and take my face off than anything else, but I've never seen any legislation about them.

With everything going on in the US

I highly doubt a federal law relating to dog breeds is gonna come out :'D

Yeah, so blaming a human for the dog being aggressive is like blaming a human's mistakes on mommy issues. Sure, may be the case sometimes, but not every time.

It's actually not being enforced, the bill won't pass. Americans don't give a shit what type of dog you have. This is a rumor going around social media for some reason. Not truth. The law actually restricts the ban on breeds like pitbulls, german shepherd, etc

I breed American Bullies, and I can state with confidence, that while some people feed the dogs attitude or aggression, but some dogs are aggressive by nature. Now, by saying that, not ALL dogs in the breed are automatically aggressive. Pits tend to be territorial and possessive, so people tended to use them for fighting, which is how they earned their rep for being an aggressive breed. I've had pits that were the sweetest things, and then I've had some that aren't. It's just like people. Not all of them are bad, but accassionally there's a Ted Bundy or Jeffery Dahmer in the mix.

To mods if this doesn't go here please move it ^^'

So without further ado, enjoy the text wall of text below , I tried to separate it a bit ^^'

So after quite a bit of time i finally was able to get a betta fish , I enjoy fish in general and bettas have been a great interest the last few years, so my sisters got me a betta for Christmas ^^

( I already have the fish and everything but I want some advice since the internet has a bunch of mixed messages when I look stuff up, it's my first betta but I've had fish before and they stay alive , healthy and happy until I trust others with their care while I'm gone on vacation )

Before anyone attacks me if something is wrong with the current living situation of my fish , it's my first betta I did what I could considering the timing of everything and he's getting a tank upgrade once the tank stand comes { and the new tank is ready}

so just be polite and understanding, I tried my best since I was getting a lot of mixed signals about a few things concerning bettas

Alright so his current tank is just a simple 3G with a few plants, a flouting log thing, a few tank decorations , heater and of course a filter

The under construction tank: this will have all of the above ( minus the 3G xD) plus a few more plants & decor plus be bigger a 10 gallon

now that you know Spinys ( short for Spinosuars ) home situation, I'm looking for a bit of advice concerning tank size , like I said he's getting moved up to a 10G but I'm just curious , is he going to be ok for a week or two In the 3G ? ( the lady at the pet store said he would be fine , especially since I said he's getting a 10G tank soon) since multiple people/ websites say they are fine in as little as 1G while others say 10G is the minimum requirement, hence my concern/ confusion about the whole thing

What are some things to get a betta tank ? I've seen a little leaf hammock resting thing, would that be a good thing to get him? I've also seen these hoop rings that they swim though and I can also get a skull cave thing , would those be good for him as well ?

Now lights ! The 10G has them but the 3G doesn't , so do I leave the light on where his tank is until I go to bed ( thus turning the light off ) ? Along with dose he need basically a day/night cycle with the light?

Now tank mates! In my past tanks , To help a bit with maintenance I always end up getting an algae eater, so would spiny be alright with an algae eater friend? ( and the algae eater get along with spiny ? ) with it being a bigger tank do I need to consider a tank mate sooner than later?

Bubblers ! Some websites say yes others say no, so it is something needed in the bigger tank ? Or is it just a entertainment thing for him in the bigger tank ?

doing a lot of things at once, is that a bad thing? Or do I take things slow?

The filler: the lady also said that I shouldn't have to really ever change the filter because it's a betta , is that true? Or is it just less frequent?

I believe that is everything that I really was confused about. Though I would love if anyone would share any tips/tricks about caring for a betta ^^ I want to learn more about a good way to care for him and the care sheet I got doesn't cover everything just the basics.

Hi! Betta keeper here! He will be fine for a week or two in the 3G, just keep up on the water changes. The smaller the tank the more frequently you need to do water changes. 1G is definitely too small for Betta fish. There's a common misconception that they're okay in small tanks, but this is not true. I wouldn't recommend anything under 10G for a Betta. The leaf hammocks are great! Betta fish have an organ called the labyrinth organ, this functions similar to our lungs. This is why they can be found hanging out at the top of the tank, they can breath air by sticking their head above the surface of the water. I believe I may have the same skull cave you're referring to and my Betta loves it. If you have a male Betta with a long fin you have to be mindful of decorations that have the potential to rip their fins. I turn my Bettas light on in the morning when I wake up and turn it off at night when I go to bed, they do need a day/night cycle.
I personally would not put an algae eater in the tank, 10G is realistically not a lot of space for most fish, and with more fish you'll have a higher bio load. With algae eaters they need to have algae to eat, I wouldn't recommend one unless there's already a good amount of algae going on. Algae bloom is often caused by either too much light or too much left over food though, and with a 10G tank your only good option for an algae eater would be a snail. However the Bettas may try to eat their antenna. Bettas do just fine without a tank mate! They are territorial/aggressive fish.
Bubblers can help with oxygen in the water but ultimately they're optional! I would recommend an air stone over a bubbler though, some Bettas don't like a lot of excess water flow. Keep in mind the more you have in your tank, the less room your Betta will actually have. Definitely take things slow! A lot of change will stress out the Betta fish, stress can lead to other problems like sickness.
You should not ever have to change the filter media!! This is where all the healthy bacteria resides. You can rinse it, but only ever ever rinse it in tank water. For example, if you're doing a water change you can dip the media in the water you removed but it shouldn't be necessary. Be mindful of fake plants if you're using them, the plastic and wire in them can tear fins. Make sure to do a full water parameters check before/after every water change! I'd definitely recommend a thermometer in the tank if you don't already have one <3 if you have more questions I'd be happy to help.

Thank you for answering my questions! ^^ and clearing up the multiple points of confusion.

I found fake plants that were apparently for bettas and they seemed like they were ok but I wanted to look into living plants, so I do have a few questions about that , mainly how would I go about putting them in the tank? Is there some extra * water parameter * level that they affect? ( once again confusing websites scared me away from trying them) or is it simple ?

do you have any pointers on switching him to the bigger tank ?
my current plan for that is to do a water change and take that from the smaller one and put it in the bigger one , so the bigger one has a bit of starting * water parameters * and treat it like when I put him in the smaller tank from the store , while doing multiple water parameter checks to try and keep both tanks at the same parameter so the move is smoother.

Is that plan a good idea or am I missing something?
yup got a thermometer, since it's been a while since I've used my fish tanks had to pick up a new one since I was worried about the heater not working properly ^^'
Is there such a thing as too much light? My one sister got me a bubbler+light ( a snowglobe ) and I definitely at least want to put it in the tank, so depending upon his tastes the bubbler might not be on but the light would be on along with the main tank light, would that be a problem ?

(Deleted. I realized I wasn't taking care of my beta very well (due to bad advice) so the advice I gave wasn't good. Sorry!)
