Lore: Wolfman can only imprint on the ladies if they're in love, so Zitkala is basically asking if Vohkinne loves her. Two people can't be mates without actually loving each other, even if they're fond of each other, imprinting is kinda of a big deal within the tribes. Once imprinted, the date of said imprint will appear on their body, somewhere on their body. So showcasing an imprint is probably like showcasing gold to poor people.
