hey hey sketch is all ok because yknow.. it's just.. practice for the bigger pieces that we'll get to someday, i swear ! this all looks super fun though :0 rory as a rabbit??? fits his vibe honestly. i wonder what other characters would look like as animals.. 👀 - also the itzcoatl study/new ref looks so COOL? these cultures have the coolest colors and designs man and you draw em super well. looking forward to seeing the new ref, along with some rory feral art too :'D |

Stalk - Hiya bro :D Hehhehehe yes I swear - there's actually a few pieces in the works right now believe it or not Honestly having owned a rabbit is so beneficial cause I never need to look up a reference 😭 but yes Rory is pretty bunny coded argrh. Speaking of that all my ocs actually have their assigned animals!! 👀 Maybe I don't draw them enough heheh but I might be doing a piece with all the Aztecs and their nahuals :D . AAA thank youu so much :D I really really love drawing studies of accurate stuff cause it gives so much insight into the culture,,,,,, I wanna do more pieces with backgrounds and stuff so badly but it's so hard finding accurate stuff ueueue Speaking of Rory he's also getting a new ref muahaha |

pols- just did some reading on nahuals and danggg the idea is so cool! yessir you totally should do a piece with them, i could totally see some crazy stuff going down if they all get together but at the same time but there'd be so much power and potential i miss seeing your rabbit on this thread :') i've never owned an animal in my life but i really want to so i just looked at other people's ✌️ - yeah man for sure! the amount of research and studying you put into accuracy and detail is crazy and i have mad respect for that. and definitely it's hard to find a lot of stuff, especially since all this was so long ago. what backgrounds were you thinking? :0 and rory is so well loved omg i swear he got a new ref only a year ago or so (?) lmao |

Stalk - Rightt?? I mean, Itztli and the gods have more direct actual nahuals considering they can actually shapeshift into their creatures, but all of them got dedicated animals! I love it but urgh some of them are hard to decide. I still don't know what I wanna make Rory </3 and Vincent alternates between wolf and boar cause like, he is both, and I can't remove one or anotherr
Oh yes I miss her so much :c maybe I should dump some old pictures of my baby in here for the people to see Thank youu <3 I do put a lot of effort into it cause especially regarding the Aztecs (or Mexica, I suffer a little any time I gotta use the other word) cause there's so much post-colonial misinformation 😭 I wanna do more everyday scenes :D but that'd require me to draw a lot of people and buildings heheh. But I gotta do it sooner or later Probably LOL,,, but he deserves a decent looking one ueueue - maybe it's just me hating my old art style but I also gotta make him look more like himself. And gotta detail his coat some more :D I already got the general ref sketched out actually! |
