Below is the morning update from the National Weather Service concerning the Severe Thunderstorms expected this afternoon. There have been no major changes in their forecast from previous updates. The greatest severe thunderstorms are expected to move through the area between 4pm and 8pm and could produce strong tornados, baseball sized hail and wind gusts of 70 miles per hour.
