God I love my mother but sometimes she annoys the fuck out of me. Like bro, I went to use the restroom and tell her good night (because she was still up ) at 12:06 and I ended up getting a whole ass lecture until 1:45 AM like wth |

Mood, honestly. I adore my mother, but man do we get on each other's bad sides easily.
Also, just wow. Was her lecture about anything in particular or was it simply because she was tired and grumpy? If ya don't mind me asking.

Let's see : I'm selfish and entitled, im a taker, im weird - oh that it's weird that im 19 and nearly 20 and can't drive ( which im trying to work on by the way ) . That she can't take it anymore, that I act like I don't need her. ( aka when I'm trying to learn to be independent and do my own thing she trumps me and belittles me ) - oh how I don't remember anything she does for me or care about her ( like I didn't just spent 162 on a floral arrangement + more and arranged for her and my dad fo have dinner at my job for her anniversary ) . And some other bullshit I'm too tired to type

She sounds like a real winner. No offense. I couldn't drive until I was eightteen, so not being able ta is nothing ta worry about. Too much, anyway. Just... take it from me. Don't do driving school if ya can help it. Also, that part where she is angry that you're getting too independent is such bull. That's the whole point of growing up. Can't live off our parents for all our years, after all. Oh, and that was really sweet of ya ta do for them. If only she'd acknowledge it. |

My mother yells at me for not independent enough. Every night I hear all about how I can't cook, and that my sister is a wonderful cook. I knew someone who didn't drive until they were 32 Spell, so don't be too harsh on yourself! <3 |
