Queen Mab is a Fae queen, also known as the dark queen. She's outside of the fae courts and kinda functions on her own . For our purposes she's known of but not normally dealt with, as she has more important things she's involved in outside of the courts. Kinda just lets them do their thing. I can find more info on her mythos if you'd like. |

oh.. uh I mean ok sure . You know who Titania is right, queen of the faires? Yea Mab is kinda her opposite in the fae mythos. I was just drawing from the mythos this rp is drawing from with Fae and the Courts. She is more of a Fae diety than a rular per-say - titles including; Queen of Air and Darkness, Unseelie Queen, Dark Queen, Dark Mother, Fae of Darkness, Titania's Dark Half, Fallen Fae, Forgotten Queen I found the site I use to reference Mab, feel free to give it a look. . I wasn't say she's directly in the rp, but someone you can mention at times. She exsists but doesn't come into play at any point. |

She's not part of the roleplay, there aren't any gods in the fae world or anything. In the refrence books for this RP, they had death gods of fae that came before the modern fae there but that's it. In this RP we do not have anything other than fae and humans, with the most powerful being high fae or a mix of high fae and a lesser fae (Like Aziel being illyrian turned high fae). We don't have queens either, we have High Ladies. That's just how this RP is built. I'd like to keep it so that the characters are what's important and not any outside people. The history of the fae here has been lost so the high lords and ladies that were the parents of Aether and Solfrid would be the first known High Fae in this world and now the world is ruled by their children. I'm not sure if this is making sense but.. please don't make lore based on other things unrelated to the RP without having talked it out with me first. |

I apologise if you felt I was oversteping, Ik you are the rp owner and have rights to the story and plot. . But I figured if you were working within the fae and it's mythos, which based on everything thus far seemed accurate, having a mention of the dark queen would add an interesting sub-plot for my character. I wasn't trying to change your world, but I would've figured the pair of queens already existed within your world. They are usually included whenever anyone deals with fae creatures, I mean Titania is queen of the faires and Mad is queen of dark fae. While they don't usually involve themselves with the courts under their domains, both are involved in much more important issues (mainly at each others throats but we'll just ignore that) Considering they function more like dieties to the fae courts, I'll be honest it makes the world feel more alive and actively in the fae world. Like I said before it was mainly just a reference to create an interesting sub-plot for my character. It would likely have no impact on other characters, just simply mine having to struggle with her instincts and blood urges due to being connected with the dark queen. . I could go on but I'd feel like I'm arguing a point when that isn't what I want to do, if you really have a problem with it I can change my character and her background. |
