I've noticed that there is always a theme in roleplays for the characters. Like they're all edgy, or intelligent and stuff. I think the theme for this one is that they're all fairly prideful.

yeah i noticed that too lol tried to lessen the pride just a little by having cheimra just be a bat /j nocturnal baby that gets grumpy during the day bc duh blind and mostly powerless, but actually really likes helping the group out by giving them food and scouting ahead my inspo for her was bats and cats so she's got an interesting thing going

Prideful was definitely a theme for all of these and I usually strive for more diverse personalities, especially in small groups like this, but I'm not gonna be a dictator and say y'all have to change key traits

I usually don't do arrogant characters, so if you'd prefer some change in characters, I can change R'jah up before we get started

It's completely up to you! I just noticed how that message reads it isn't a problem at all I can definitely work around it and make sure plots play into the combined strengths and weaknesses that come with the prideful characters

Agh, no, I can't do choices. I think I'll play around some with him, especially with the first paragraph in his personality. It rubs me wrong for some reason.

I agree that pride is certainly a theme, but I wouldn't worry about it for two reasons: one, we only have like 60% of the characters made so the others might be extremely different, and two, the way pride manifests in each character seems different. Like Arashi seems mostly concerned with competition while Indrus only takes pride in his appearance. R'jah is definitely the most overall arrogant of the characters, while Raven only really seems to want to be seen as an individual.

I'd like to see Raven having some major character development throughout this roleplay. Not sure if I'm really satisfied with how her character sounds yet

don't worry I have things up my sleeve that'll push development ;) and in between events there'll be plenty of time to explore the characters naturally

Yeah, I decided to be lazy and not to edit him any. It'll be interesting to see how each one developes more. I'm hoping to get R'jah to be more of a team player, and definately humble him down some.
@Ataciara, nice, what do you have planned? Or would you prefer to keep that a secret?
