Sometimes, things just won't ever look quite right. That's okay.

something I've found helpful for this is taking a reference photo and putting it in a digital art program. then you decrease the opacity and break the reference down into shapes

Okay. I'm a bit confused on these family relations. So, if my pup is the daughter of Saphire, then that makes Azure her aunt and River and Alder her cousins as they are her pups, right? If so, then why are River and Alder cousins? Am I missing something/mixing something up or...?
