My suggestions follow the naming patterns of the existing battle skills.
Offensive: Skills begin general/wolf-typical, become vicous & descriptive, then target specific body parts until 750BE, when offensive names all are powerful, single words until the final Death Grip. Though detailed, words stay realistic. Skills can sound merciless but don't imply the wolf is evil-for-fun or has cruel intentions. My six suggestions follow that pattern to neutrally communicate visceral, severe damage.
- Concuss
- Brutalize
- Maim
- Maul
- Concuss
- Sink Teeth (x sinks their teeth into y)
- Wildly Thrash (x thrashes y around wildly)
Defensive: The few defensive skills are almost all single worded, and remain very general. The player is able to imagine the wolf doing this move regardless of who the enemy is and the attack they may perform. Though general, the defensive skills aren't synonyms of the same move and are clearly different from each other. These five are majority single worded, and remain general while differing from all other current BE defensive skills.
- Close In (x closes in on y)
- Double Team (x double teams y)
- Corner
- Lure
- Instill Fear (x instills y with fear / x instills fear in y)
