doesn't it bother anyone else when you put so much time and effort into a sign-up forum and you write down all of the information that is necessary (and maybe a bit unncessary too), and then you see a role-play with legit the words of 'wolf rp, just need this, and that, and this, and you should be good' and like everyone joines it?

I'm really bad at doing this.

One of the things I do is I make my characters verge on mind reader. I don't realize I do it, because it's easier to do through writing, but I often interpret that nervous twitch much easier than a normal person would in real life.

It certainly is a bummer in my opinion. :P
I don't know what I'd be as a Roleplayer without my detailed OC Sheets.

@pudding: that too. with detailed forms, it's nice to look at. but the moment you state '2+ paragraphs for personality and appearance' i feel like everyone runs away. or there's that one person who didn't read the rules and is like 'kind, caring, sometimes mean, likes pups' and 'dark fur, white patch on chest, black nose, and lots of scars'

Oh, my gosh- That reminds me, I've been meaning to bring this up. But liking something isn't a personality trait, pretty sure it's a preference. :')

yes.
which is fine to at least mention, but that doesn't mean you get to go in-depth
go put it in the likes and dislikes section, like come on

I am not good at detailed character sheets, so I generally make sign ups sort of minimal. I try to lure literate people in with interesting details though with sign up. It keeps out the lazier semi-literate XD
