Alt title; sheesh, why does nobody in my pack want to help out other animals?

Just been exploring around, and sometimes a little pop-up will show up like "X needs a lecture!" or "These beagles are chasing a rabbit, care to join in?" and pretty much every time I want to help out, my pack just ignores it. What gives?

You can give your wolves points in empathy, and slowly they will do more of these things instead of ignoring them.
