Bound by Blood and Fear
In a land divided between Vampires and Humans, a fragile treaty of peace has settled over the country. The North is ruled by the Vampires of the Night, whereas the Sunny Lands of the South are ruled by the Humans. Everyone knows that the only dangerous place for humans where they are at risk of getting attacked by Vampires is at the borders.
In the midst of the day, the Vampires are disturbed from their slumber to hear distant sounds coming from the south. Even at the distance between the two areas, the Vampires' sensitive ears easily identified the sound. Screaming. They knew it well. They often were the cause of it. But knowing something was causing the Humans to the South to scream with such terror fed a hypocritical carnal anger that raged at the idea of someone harming their humans.
At first Nightfall the Vampires crossed the border to find absolute destruction. Pure chaos really. Buildings were destroyed. Citizens were slaughtered, their blood staining the streets and painting the rubbled walls. Yet there was no physical trace as to what had caused such terror. No scent. No traces of hair. No footsteps. Nothing.
Despite the heavy stench of death on the air, the Vampires began to search for survivors. Whether it was out of whatever goodness remained in their dark hearts, or their own survival in needing people to feed off, they weren't sure, but when they found a group cowering within the cellar of a collapsed house, they all felt the relief.
Deciding to offer the remaining humans shelter and protection until they can figure out what happened, the Vampires brought them to the North. The only thing they didn't realize was that by bringing this humans to their lands, they've invited the same destruction in as well.

The Roleplay Rules
Follow all of Eve's and Wp's Rules
1. Lets be Active My Dears. Im not sure what my expectation is yet, but I'd like to be able to post regularly, but not have it die when I have to work my turn over shifts. [Thursday to Friday I'm usually not On.]
2. Maximum 4 Characters Per Person. This may adjust over time.
3. This takes place in a Fantasy Land different from our own. So it is more medieval themed in setting, but not quite all the same restrictions in terms of fashion, piercings, hair color, etc. They can dye their hair, having tattoos, piercings, etc. But there is no modern technology or buildings, etc.
4. Semi-Literate is the Minimum for this Rp, and will need to be shown in Rp and Sign Ups. I don't have a specific minimum for Forms, as I feel like Semi-Literacy isn't calculated by word cant, but quality of what is being written.
5. No Perfect Characters, Godmodding, Powerplaying, Metagaming, etc. It will not be tolerated at all.
6. Reservations last 48 Hours upon Reserval. You may ask for an extension, but it is at my descretion on whether or not I allow it.
7. The Vampire Hierarchy typically goes with the older a vampire is, the higher rank it is. There are a few exceptions, but a freshly Made vampire isn't going to be very high ranking.
8. The Oldest Vampire in the Rp will be the Vampire Queen. This is to cap the age, and keep any competition of who is older and stronger to a minimum. If I see you keep adjusting the age of your vampire as people join, I will say something.
9. Make sure you read everything for this Rp before joining, as there are important things to know when making characters. Put your favorite Soft Serve topping in other.

Roleplay Information
The Country of Caladorn has long since been split into two kingdoms. To the North Lies Mythoria, and to the South lies it's opposite, Aurovia. Despite their immediate differences, a fragile agreement of peace has held the country together, with the only dangerous place between them being the border. Aurovia, the land of the Sun and Sky, belongs to the humans. Mythoria, though, the land of the Night and Cold, belongs to the Vampires.
The Vampires
Mythoria has been ruled by the Vampires ever since it's conception, with the current Vampire Queen being the longest ruler to date. There is only one coven, if you will, in Mythoria, lead by this Queen, and every vampire falls beneath her reign. Many of the Vampires live within the vast walls of Bloodstone Manor, the largest castle within all of Mythoria, but many also live throughout the entire Kingdom. This Rp, though, will take place primarily in Castle Bloodstone, and the surrounding Village.
It's easy to Lump Vampires in as one generic mob, but, truthfully, that would be underselling it.
There are 5 Vampire Species:
- Incubus/Succubus
- Phantom
- Sanguine
- Versipellis
- Umbra
While all vampires share a variety of weaknesses, strengths, and abilities, each type of Vampire comes with it's own unique set of each.

The Types
Incubus/Succubus
The Incubus or Succubus type of Vampire is one of the Oldest known to man. They are the legends behind the demonic lore that is passed throughout the ages. While their powers aren't specifically for lust and desire, it's well known that it's the easiest, and probably the most enjoyable, way for them to get a meal. However, their abilities are able to be used a variety of different ways than to have fun in the sheets. It's well known among vampires that they get along best with Phantom and Umbra Vampires. However, they also tend to be more at odds with Sanguine and Versipellis types, believing them to be more animalistic.

Iris Color: Pink or Purple
Sanguine
Probably what is considered closest to what people imagine a "stereotypical" vampire, the Sanguine's entire world revolves around blood. Not only must they consume it, and a lot of it honestly, but all of their powers revolve around it. Of the Vampire Types, they have a lot of versatility in their abilities, maybe more so than most of the other types, so it does create a balance. Of the vampires, they get along best with the Versipellis Vampires. They're rather Neutral towards the Umbra Vampires and Phantom Vampires. However, they typically don't get along well with Incubus/Succubus Vampires.

Phantom
Despite being the stuff of nightmares, Phantom Vampires aren't as scary as they appear. Often mistaken for Ghosts or Spectres when in their Phantom Forms, they are best suited for things requiring stealth or recon, as they can pass through areas undetected. They have versatile abilities, and while they aren't heavy weights, they still have their skills. They get along best with the Incubus/Succubus Vampires, and are Neutral with Sanguines. However, they tend to greatly but heads with Umbra Types the most, and Versipellis next.

Versipellis
Considered the more Animalistic ones of the Vampire Types, the Versipellis are likely what give the idea that Vampires can turn into bats. They can shift, yes, but not into a regular bat. They all have one of the most unique, and probably helpful abilities, in the fact that they can actually store blood. Of the vampire types, Versipellis get along best with Sanguine and Umbra Vampires. However, they tend to butt heads with Incubus/Succubus and Phantom types.

Umbra
Possibly one of the Creepiest types of Vampires, Umbra Types are Masters of Darkness and Shadow. They don't just make their homes in them, but they seem to be apart of them, as if their very essence is intertwined. They're generally rather spooky because of this, and they tend to be the palest of the Vampires. In general they tend to be more neutral across the board with the Phantom Types being the ones they struggle to get along with.

The Vampire Hierarchy
The Vampire Queen
The Supreme Sovereign of the Vampires in Mythoria. Boss Lady.
The Royal Consort
Does not have the Authority to Make decisions for the Vampires, etc. But they are respected as they are the current Paramour of the Queen.
The Royal Heirs
These are the two Vampires turned by the Queen to act as both her right hand men. They aren't necessarily going to inherit her throne, but they act as like Seconds almost.
The Head Guard
This is the Most Experienced Guard who is in charge of all the rest of the guards. They decide who gets promoted to Elite Guards, and who doesn't, and if a Guard needs to be removed from rank, punished, etc.
The Elite Guards
These are the Guards that are directly responsible for Guarding/Protecting the "Royals" of the Vampires which Include: The Queen, Her Consort, and the Heirs. The Queen has a constantly revolving of Guards, but the others only need Guards when deemed necessary.
The Guards
These are the Vampires who are in charge of Guarding the Bloodstone Manor and it's Occupants in general.
The Vampire Court
These are all the rest of the Vampires in the Castle. They are referred to as Lord or Lady.
The Royal Servants
These are the humans who work as Servants for the Royals of the Castle. Each Servant is assigned one Royal, and is instructed to uphold their every whim. All of the Royal Servants are willing donors of blood.
The Servants
These are the humans who were as Servants for the rest of the occupants of the Bloostone Manor.
Vampiric Facts
1. Vampires are not born, they are created. They are incable of having children, even with humans.
2. Vampires can starve to death, but it's a very long and painful process that takes years. And it's unlikely to happen as they'll fly into an Enraged Frenzy first.
3. All Vampires are Created with a Sire Bond in place, but it will fade within the first few years after Creation and become nonexistent. This is to help ensure control and that they don't fly off and butcher a whole town. It does not Cause Romantic Feelings.
4. Vampires can have any skin color, as long as it's Cool/Cold Toned. Once humans are turned into Vampires, they no longer have warm tones. If a human with a warm tone is changed, it will transition to the closest shade that is Cold in Tone. I will also accept Neutral Tones.

The Humans
These are just your normal, average, run of the mill humans. There are 2-ish roles the Human Can have in this Rp:
Aurovian Survivor or A Servant/Royal Servant.
The Servants in Castle Bloodstone are the Humans who tend to the Vampiric Masters. However, this doesn't make them thralls. They are not there against their will. It's like any other position/rank/job. They are paid to be Servants. Plus, like Guards, they get free housing, meals, etc. Even if they have families.
There are two Positions of Servants, the Regular and the Royal.
The Royal Servants tend only to the High Ranks, so the Queen herself, her Consort, and her Heirs. The other Servants tend all other Vampires, and now the Aurovian Survivors since they'll be houses in the Castle.
However, within the Servants you will notice their outfits are one of two colors. Brown or Green. Brown is for the Servants who do not Volunteer to be Feeders, Sources, etc. for Vampires. Meaning they cannot be fed on. Whereas the Servants wearing Green Clothing do consent to being fed on. Those who allow it, are paid a hire sallary. But none of them are mistreated, even if they don't offer up their blood for consumption. Male Servants wear a simple Tunic and Trousers. Female Servants wear a simple dress. Royal Servants wear similar clothes, but typically they have more fillagree and adornments to them.
As For the Aurovians, they are currently being given Shelter in the Bloodstone Manor. They have been given the opportunity to work as Servants in the Castle or find a Job in the Attached Village, but they do not have to for the time being, considering the traumatic event. They are protected, but that doesn't mean they are safe. Some vampires will disagree with taking them in, and sheltering them. They may even want to hunt them like normal. So while they are deemed off limits, unless they desire to share their blood, that doesn't mean some vampires won't view them as fair game.

She's Been Queen for Over 700 Years

Appearance:
Often the first thing many notice about the Queen is just how elegant and poised she comes across as. She seems to emulate perfection, every step and move calculated, a thought going into every little thing that she does. It may appear natural and flawless, but Morrigan is a chess player in a hall for checkers.
There is a natural deceit to Morrigan's appearance, as she often appears far more calm and almost innocent. Almost. Like a benevolent Queen that only brings good and prosperity to her people. However, Queen Morrigan Mezmarat is far from benevolent. Her poised exterior does not match the turmoil within, but with the facade she holds up, none would be able to tell.
Standing at 5'9" in height, Morrigan is not the tallest and most intimidating woman in terms of stature, but she isn't petite by any means. She has a full, volumptuous figure, one that has fully filled out and matured. Her hips are wide, flaring out from her narrow waist. Her bosom is developed, enough to fill out her clothing, but not so much so that she is spilling out of things. A slender, delicate neck holds up her head, while she has long, nimble arms, and powerful legs. It's important to note that, on her hands, Morrigan has permanently elongated claws that she keeps painted and manicured so they're sharp and deadly.
For her facial features, Morrigan has a narrow chin that belongs to a more diamond shaped face. Her lips are on the slightly fuller side, though her bottom lip is significantly fuller than her top lip which is on the thin side. She has high cheekbones, which are often more pronounced and severe when her cheeks are on the more gaunt side due to exhaustion or weariness. Above them sit a pair of almost exotic almond eyes framed by thick, long lashed with thin, groomed brows above them.
Morrigan's pale, porcelain skintone is often viewed as unblemished, save for the beauty mark above her righth eyebrow. However, the deep tones of her hair contrasts beautifully with her skin, causing each of them to seem even more vibrant. The Queen's locks are long and naturally wavy, though she does like to straighten them or curl them more than their natural setting. Often times she chooses to wear her hair up so it's mostly out of her face. Her hair, though, is a deep, rich red, not quite fire engine red, but a shade or two darker. Morrigan often paints her lips with a similar color to her hair too. Add in the bright, yellow pair of eyes situated on her face, and she have Morrigan's striking, almost enthralling, appearance.
Unfortunately, the beauty is only skin deep.

Keres Isela Demetriou Greek Origin meaning: "Death Spirit" [k-EE-r-ess, ee-seh-lah, d-ih-m-et-r-EE-oo] Age: Appears to be in her early 20's She is currently 327 years old Gender: Female

Vampire Type: Incubus/Succubus
Appearance: Pretty is dull of a word to describe Keres. Many who have come across her have described her as enchanting or ravishing. Once attention is normally drawn to the eyes, two separate and distinct colors, a pale pink, and a light purple, due to her respective abilities, her orbs are more intricate. Her outer iris is lined with the darker variation of the respective eye's iris color. Her inner iris on her purple eye is filled with silvery white flecks, while her pink has a similar pattern weaved throughout. Keres's eyes are almond-shaped, and her irises sit in a lower senpaku position, framed by long, full, dark eyelashes. Her eyebrows are dark and thin, softly angled to perfection. This female’s nose is straight, and in similar form to a celestial noise, with a slight upturn to its tip, along the top of her high cheekbones and across the bridge of her nose are a splatter of freckles, this pattern continuing across the rest of her face and shoulders as well. Her jawline is defined, and her face is slightly sharp in appearance. Full tan lips, with a defined cupids-bow resting on her mouth, her upper lip marginally thinner than her lower lip. Keres's hair is a gorgeous feature with her natural tight black curls, referred to as a 4a. As of late, she has begun braiding her hair, with intricate designs and patterns, her hair gives off a slight red hue when braided with specific hair, as it currently is now. Her hair is braided in elegant long box braids with waves, and she has clipped small golden cuffs throughout them. Her hair is a feature Keres enjoys the most, she prefers it long, so she often has it braided long so that it reaches the middle of her back. She does like her natural hair, and will still style it, this female does enjoy a good set of braids. The clips in her hair she maybe occasionally switch out with silver ones. When styling her hair Keres normally leaves it down but does have the ability to put it up. Her edges are done to help frame her heart-shaped face, with a slightly noticeable widow's peak to her hairline. This female is deceivingly strong. She stands at 5’9”, so her figure is slightly taller than most women, and while she looks thin, she has lean muscle, but enough which adds to her weight that comes to a total of roughly 138 lbs. Six. There is some definition across her abdomen, legs, and arms, but not enough to give away her strength, so when she does fight back, it's a surprise. Her frame is strong, and she has a slight hourglass look to her, but only enough to see that she is not rectangular-shaped. Her hips are slightly wider than her shoulder width. Keres is quite agile, and flexible, which adds to her capabilities. She is graceful, yet deadly. A few additional features on her head include her ear piercings, she has her doubles, as well as an industrial piercing on her left ear, and a helix piercing on her right. This vampire’s skin color was an espresso color with warm undertones before she was turned. Since then she has grown quite pale in comparison, her skin changing to a medium-light color, with cool undertones. She has been fortunate enough to have clear skin, never truly struggling with acne in her younger years. As for birthmarks, she has a few moles scattered across her skin, as well as a small brown mark on the bottom of her left pinky toe. As for scars this female has a few, over the centuries she’s gotten into her fair share of battles or fights, and one, in particular, left a horizontal cut about 4 inches across her right collar bone, from a failed assassination attempt. She has a few more minor ones, scattered throughout, but none are worth mentioning. Keres's walk makes her seem as if she is floating, with grateful, quick steps. Her posture is on point, making it seem as if she has a confident and important air to her. She holds herself as if she were royalty, where is the fun in slouching when it only ruins your back? This vampire’s scent is another thing, while not a distinct flavor, Keres takes on a distinct, warmer, sweet-smelling scent. Nothing too overpowering, but enough to pick out when standing beside her. Elegant and neat, she writes with her left, but can also use her right, making her ambidextrous. Keres's voice is slightly deeper, and smoother sounding than your average woman, but then again this vampire is not your average woman. Her mood is constantly shifting, as are her tastes. She is from a tragic past, ending with her being the victim of a rather difficult scenario, before she was turned shortly after. This female hates to feel powerless, like she has no control over her emotions and her body, knowing that it was once taken from her. She is especially harsh towards human men, and is very touchy about the subject, refusing to divulge exactly what happened and what she went through. Due to this, she often targets younger human men when hunting. Romantically speaking she has taken a select few of them to her bed, but is mostly intrigued by the human women, when they're not being overly emotional of course. Their fragile lives and flighty being irritate and bore her, she tends to flip through her human compansions due to this, and not settle for long on vampire ones. After being turned, it almost took a piece of her soul. Keres is quite cruel, enjoying the torture of humans and poking fun at them. She absolutely despises the fact that they took the humans into their home, she is very observant of them and has chosen to keep them all under close watch. Despite this, she would never harm them without consent, to do so would be to violate the trust of her Queen. Speaking of her Queen, Keres is quite loyal. She will follow Morrigan to the ends of the earth if the female tells her to. She is a quiet follower of the female, bending to her every will and not questioning her ruler. She turned her, after all. When she is in the presence of any lesser being than herself this rather changes. Keres is more likely to questions the thouroughness of the subject and the persons ideas. She is intelligent and strategic and will make her voice and her opinions known. Despite this her temper is pretty level, she doesn't get worked up quickly unless someone is harming her loved ones or directly attacking her. Her patience may be a bit shorter with those that she finds annoying or with those trying to seek attention. She may be social, but it's to an extent. Her friends are often those that she speaks with, and while she may hop in on a group conversation, it is not likely. This female may also be sarcastic, her comments are meant to be too harmful, but it may seem that way to a more sensitive person. She is normally more serious, so she won't speak this way a whole lot. Keres is hardworking, making sure she earns her position every day. She is dependable, and you can count on her to do her part, she is not one to sit by and idly watch. Keres is very determined and is not one to give up easily. Keres can be apathetic around half of the time, appearing blank or emotionless. This female will show emotions like concern, or elation, but keeps her 'private life' closed off. She doesn't need to appear weak or look as if she is seeking attention. Not that she needs to seek it when so many are drawn to her looks or to her power. Keres is hardworking, always putting forth her best effort. Encouragement or coddling won't help her as much in a stressful situation, she needs more of a demand or something fear-inspiring if she is going to kick ass. Her words are chosen carefully as is her tone, Keres can be a very convincing person when she needs to be, often using the skill of those she wants something from or to convince someone of something.
