Her coat is a deep colour, hue slightly changing depending on the lighting, but always on the deeper end of coluration. In most lightings, she seems a rich golden-tan mixture, a shade that shifts slowly into a fluffy, creamy underbelly and cream-gold chest. While she is a fully grown adult, and most of her spotting faded in her youth, the hind legs of the female still contain some mild spotting, especially on her flanks. The tips of some of her hairs have managed to turn grey, giving her an almost greying affect on some parts of her body, specifically her head and shoulders are most noticable.
The build of the lioness is a broad one, being significantly on the heavier side for a female, but not quite the tallest end of the spectrum. Nalini stands at 3.3ft, something closer to the shorter side of the middle ground for lioness heights, but weighs 396lbs, or even reaching 400lbs if she's been fed well. Most of this weight comes from muscle, showing in her broad head, wide shoulders and overall brawny build. She is used to being something of an anchor during hunts, dragging prey down with her muscles and weight, and is adept in this role.
Being a huntress and wild animal, the lioness is not free of scars. Old wounds from botched hunts are scattered across her body, and a collection of scratches adorn her muzzle, but none are quite disfiguring or too noticable. Instead, when people gaze at her face, often their gazes are attracted to her own, a pair of mesmerizing olive eyes situated in her face above a black and pink speckled nose.

Nalini is a female that could only be described as someone warm. Her voice is warm, her scent is warm, her aura is warm. She is a lioness that is friendly to practically everyone, affectionate with those close to her, approachable to those that aren't. It's rare to see the female upset, annoyed, irritated, or angry, often one to be content and tranquil. And, while not a pushover, she is one to forgive friends and family if she can see they genuinely made a mistake and are willing to improve. So, to get on her 'bad side' means that you had to have royally fucked up, honestly.
This lioness is wise, practically beyond her years, and someone easy to respect. Nalini is observant, watchful eyes and pricked ears bringing much to her attention, little escapes her attention. Being both a mother and a huntress, the female is watchful as often as she can be, watching for threats, prey, over her children, and the other children of the pride. If she were not a skilled hunter, perhaps she would have chosen a role closer to that of a cub-sitter, but the thrill of the hunt calls her.
Despite being as kind as she is, Nalini is not a pushover. Once she has set boundaries, she is firm in them, unwilling in most cases to give in, as well as once she's said or decided something seriously, there is little that can sway her. She is not quite stubborn, but she is firm in her choices, especially about personal things. She respects her superiors too much to undermine their choices, but if it's about her and her children, Nalini will rarely back down. She has a protective streak, protective of her friends, her family, her pride; but it's especially obvious when it comes to her children.

Roshan | Deceased Mate
Roshan was Nalini's original mate. She loved him very much, and he loved her. They only had enough time together to have a single litter, which gave them only one cub, her beloved son Kiho. Roshan was not a male that presented as having a white coat, so Kiho's pale colouration had confused them both, but they loved their son dearly. After his death, a bit less than two years ago, Nalini was destraught. She gave herself time to grieve him, continue to raise their son, and move on before she had another litter with someone else.
Kiho | Her Beloved Son
Kiho is Nalini's beloved son, her firstborn, the only cub of her first litter. She loves her son very dearly, and believes she has an exceptional relationship with him, and that she's raised him well with the help of his now deceased father. While some members of the pride may look down upon her son for his coat colour, Nalini feels nothing but adoration for him, her not-so-little bundle of joy.
Andhera | Her Mini-Me
Andhera, being as introverted as she is, is someone that Nalini has gotten used to having close by. She finds comfort knowing that her daughter trusts her so explicitly, and she enjoys having her daughter so close. Like with all of her children, Nalini is protective of her daughter, but she is especially protective of Andhera's space, knowing how introverted the cub is, and knowing how much the growing lioness values her time and space alone.
