Diesal was always on the larger side, especially compared the the litter he was born in. He has the more stocky build which brings out his masculine features. He has a very rough pelt that seems to change hues depending on the light. Sometimes his pelt will look a very dark brown and other times it will be a more hazel color. On his left paw, right cheek, and his back you'll find a tiny scar from his father, which I will get into that in the backstory. Diesal's eyes are a light brown that look like honey in the sun. His right ear has a knick in it, unfortunately he doesn't remember if he was born with it or if he got it somehow.

Personality:

Just as his intimidating appearance follows, Diesal is just as scary. If you've ever bothered him in any way, he'd let you know. Diesal is very upfront about everything. If you're being an asshole, he will confront you. Diesal was never one to keep everything bottled up. But all that scary stuff aside, Diesal can be a real sweetheart if you get close to him. He's only like that with those he's very comfortable with. Some may call him shy because of his lack of social skills but that's not the case. He just wasn't really one to start a conversation because of his awkwardness. He doesn't know how to keep a conversation going let alone start one. One thing he is though, is loyal. He does refer to his pack as his family. And he would do anything for them.

Diesal is a very strong wolf, although many might not be surprised due to his build. However, he lacks speed. He was never the fastest wolf out there. However he has very good stamina which is weird. He can run for a long time but not run that fast. He is very skilled in hearing. His parents used to say that he could hear a rabbit squeal from miles away, obviously an exaggeration. Another thing Diesal was never good at was romance. That's where his awkwardness kicks in. He is very oblivious to any and all signs of a wolf taking a liking to him. How unfortunate. Diesal could care less though. He has a high focus on the pack and the pack only.

Backstory:

Growing up, Diesal had a rocky relationship with his father. Ever since he was born he was always wondering why his father picked on him the most out of his litter. When him and his siblings were training his father was always the hardest on him and his mother never said a word. So Diesal grew up not understanding why his father treated him that way. There were constant fights between the two which resulted in the scars on Diesal. His father always put Diesal in his place. Diesals father was training him to be a scout. A very good one at that. But it never excused the way he was treated.

As years went by Diesals mother had passed and his father was in such bad shape. Diesal and his siblings rarely saw their father out of his cave. He had gone into a deep depression and the siblings didn't know how to get him out of it. Diesal walked in the cave to see his fathers lifeless body. He just thought he was asleep.

"Father?" The young adult called out. No answer. Diesal nudged him with his snout and the body stayed still. It was only a matter of time before Diesal put two and two together. Shock took over his body. And it wasn't until his father finally passed that he realized...his father wasn't ever really mean. He was just pushing Diesal the hardest because he saw potential in the young male. To this day, Diesal still thinks about his father a lot. As for his siblings, they all went their separate paths. Some are loners and some are in different packs.

Golden brown hues lit up the dark area around the wolf's face, squinting as the piercing light from the sun shone on his body. The male was too exhausted and had a hard time rising to his paws. After a little bit he finally gained enough momentum to push himself up. Still a little wobbly, the male made his way outside of the cave he was napping in. He took in his surroundings and realized he was the only one awake. Carefully so he wouldn't wake anyone else up, Diesal made his way around the slumbering wolves and into a forest. His stomach started to growl and that's when he realized he needed something to eat. He heard a snap of a twig from afar and instantly raised his head and perked his ears. A sly grin spread across his muzzle as he realized the small critter was not going to make it out of the forest alive.

Diesal trampled over pink flowers to try to find that creature lurking in the bushes. Suddenly a glimpse of a grey coat caught the wolf's eyes. He snapped his head in the direction to see the rabbit running for dear life. Diesal did not hesitate to charge after it. Carrying himself on his paws, he made his way closer and closer to the prey until suddenly he swooped in and grabbed the bunny, who let out an eerie scream, by the back and chomped on it until it stopped moving. Satisfied with his catch, Diesal began to feast on the corpse. When he finished and there was nothing but a carcass left, he headed straight back to the pack. Trotting into the pack surrounded by wolves, he noticed everyone had woken up. Now the missions began.
