I’m so sorry I can’t write normal character sheets. I know the appearance is a little long, just skip to the second half if you really don’t want to read it. I just get excited sometimes and can’t stop writing. Don’t ask how many pages it ended up on google docs or how many hours it took.

Evangeline Maríe Leviathan
Ee-van-juh-leen muh-ree
Age:
16
Family Crest:
🜏
Gender:
female
Sexuality:
Straight. After all, thats what a “proper lady” is supposed to be, right? Honestly, she would rather be in her books that dealing with some swine, but… it wouldn’t hurt to not be so lonely all the time. (ohh who said that? Must be the wind)
Appearance:
Evangeline slumped against the frame of her bed, wriggling to become comfortable with the wooden post against her spine. Finally frustrated, she threw the blanket off of her head. Fabric floated back onto her head, leaving her kicking to be extricated from the mess. CRASH! Her heart sunk into her stomach right as her throat started closing in. Little Evangeline’s pudgy fingers slowly peeled the blanket off. Sniffling, she peered out of its safety and into the rest of her bedroom. Glass decorated the dark wood like snow on a harsh winter day. The inside of her throat burned. No… they already hate me…
She desperately groped around the floor on her hands and knees, reaching for glass and pressing it back into the frame of her mirror until tears blinded her vision. Cold glass cut her hands as she choked back a scream. Don’t draw attention to it… Accepting her fate, Evangeline slumped back onto the same post she was crying on earlier. First she was caught playing with the “lowly” servants and now this? A proper lady would never draw this much attention to herself, much less create a hassle for someone else. What is wrong with me?
Her hurt fingers lifted a shard of glass up to her face. Wiping away tears with her other sleeve, she stared back into her mossy green eyes.

What is wrong with me?
Once again, she stood in front of her mirror, which had been broken many times over the years. Now it had been patched so many times that the gold frame’s paint had been scratched and the glass looked like grandma’s old porcelain set. Evangeline resembled a porcelain doll herself. Her pale face was always painted with a variety of blushes and eyeshadows, usually landing on a pale pink to make her skin pop. She had a relatively smooth face if not for a small beauty mark on her cheek and her sharp nosebridge. Once a classmate had told her it made her look like a man, like the rest of her features were on the wrong body. The wrong body… Her eyes fell. Children were mean. She knew it well. Throughout grade school, she had been teased for being a little pudgier than the other kids. Grew too fast, then balanced out. “No wonder her mom doesn’t love her, she looks like a cow!” Children were really mean. Now, she still retained some of the weight. Most had faded with the baby fat, but…
She shook her head and reached for a small golden tube on her vanity. Twisting the top open, she lifted a scarred hand to her lip. Lipstick was both a fashion choice and a reminder. As it was easy to mess up, it reminded her of her own rule. Not to speak unless necessary. After all, you never knew how stupid someone was until they opened up their mouth and told you themselves. She let out a heavy sigh and returned the tube for a hairbrush. The brush worked its way through her pale blond hair, pulling the strands into place. One pass… two passes… three passes… then onto the next area. She placed the handle back down on the vanity and swapped it for three bobby pins. Her hands danced around her head while pulling up her hair. The more elaborate, the more time people spent wondering than they did asking you important things. As a last touch-up before entering the endurance sprint known as “dinner with the family” she dabbed a blotch of powder on her nose, rejuvenated her mascara, and shook the doubts out of her head.
Height:
barely 5’8’’ (Like she probably only rounds to try to subconciously get on River's nerves.)
Attires:
Cool, I have a school outfit, casual outfit, and formal outfit.
Formal events are her pride and joy. These are when Evangeline can go all out and play the role of a true noble. At school she feels more pressured to fit in, but this is when she can break out the elaborate clothing in the back of the wardrobe. For the typical event, she wears a cream dress patterned with mossy green flowers and leaves. The soft fabric clings around her bust, but loosens up around the waist and puffs out with layers of lace underneath. The sweetheart neckline is also lined with frills, as are the edges of the sleeves that puff out from her shoulders. Her hair remains pulled up, although curled and with more pieces pulled out from the sides. A string of pearls fall around her neck, seeming to shine in such a way that almost makes you wonder if they’re enchanted. (are they?) In addition, she has long dangly earrings with a pearl on the end of it hanging from each ear. Dainty white gloves are pulled over her hands and rising past her elbows, both to look more noble than everyone else and to hide the scars across her fingertips. Slipped over that is a gold ring with her family’s insignia imprinted into it. Also, why do people wear fancy shoes when the dress is literally longer than your feet? Like, be comfortable. Regardless of my opinions, she wears heels. Whether it’s to give her more of a height advantage or not, I really can’t say.
School is probably only a step down from that. Well, multiple steps, but she’s still kind of intense sometimes. (lowkey looks like a rich man on a golf trip). She wears a light blue polo of thick fabric with sleeves cropped halfway down the upper arm. That is usually tucked into a white skirt that flows to about her knees. A chestnut belt cinches it together. The natural V shaped by the neckline of the polo draws attention to its gold buckle. Her platformed shoes are also a chestnut color, although white frilly socks peak out from under them. Around her neck rests a strand of pearls that, like mentioned previously, are definitely not suspicious-looking. Since it’s a more basic outfit, she settles for golden hoops in each ear and a stud on the helix piercing for her left ear. For day-to-day wear, she has her hair up in a ponytail. She believes it isn’t fancy enough to wear anywhere else, but casual enough that it will survive the school day. To tie together the “rich dad getting ready to drive to the golf course on his yacht” look she has going there, she wears thin white gloves that cut off just past the wrist. It’s probably unbelievable how many she has, or how much she spends on stain remover.
And for days when she’s either stuck in the library or doing private research in her room, she gets really lazy. What? Between social pressure and mental health, a girl needs to have a few days to crash. She wears a sage green knitted sweater over brown dress pants. Her usual necklace stays with the outfit, but the gloves do not. And, she probably just throws on whatever sneakers are lying nearby that she can find. Since it’s a lazy day, she also just leaves her usually wavy hair down.
Voice and Accent:
She speaks in a haughty “I’m-better-than-you” tone when she chooses to grace us all with her knowledge. Definitely gives off the vibe of that kid who sits next to you in calculus who is waaay smarter than you, knows it, and chooses to flaunt it.
Personality:
Being a middle child is no easy task. Mixed with the burden of being born into a noble family, she carries a heavy weight. Many see it as a blessing. Being rich beyond your wildest dreams would be a dream for most. Unless they’re living it.
Evangeline knows the value of silence. It can allow connections to blossom or be severed like that of a bell after its final toll. The expectations she has been trying to fill her entire life have consumed that which is left of her. After all, a child can not thrive when expected to have wisdom beyond her years. Instead of slowly succumbing to the pressure and becoming a shell of herself, she chose to close the doors.
No longer does she treat her family like blood. They are like fellow members of a royal court; all have their own agenda so don’t let them get a hold of yours. Her tendency to be reserved gives her an air of knowingness. When she could be making a fool of herself fighting for her needs, she chooses to wait… calculating how to manipulate the chess pieces that are her peers. Chess is a noble game. It uses prior knowledge, strategic advantage, and rapid improvisation- almost all the skills needed to survive in the realm of the nobles. With the right move, the whole defense of the opponent could come toppling down.
She spent her childhood learning these lessons to where they were embedded in her bones. Every day she would peruse the library on ways to enhance her body and mind in order to stick out. As a child, she believed success was the only way to be noticed for more than her pretty face or for her purse. Oh, but she is so right and so wrong at the same time. Even as young as 16, her drive to silently overcome all her opponents consumes her mind. Every failure cracks the pane just slightly, digging in until the whole foundation eventually cracks. Regardless, her search for knowledge is what drives her to achieve more. Inside, however, she still feels like a child fighting to have their voice in the world and longs to be heard.
Strengths:
She prides herself on her wit and her extensive spelling bee awards. She works well in high pressure situations and has a bunch of magic experiments under her belt. Okay, maybe strong academics aren’t everything. She has a knack for interpreting legalistics and old historical documents (you never know when it could come into play).
Weaknesses:
She is easily annoyed in group projects or with more confident people. She is much more at home with those like her, who “haven’t had the easy way at life” (says the rich kid). Also, she isn’t great at reading some social cues and accidentally tramples feelings sometimes. And let’s not mention the running thing. She’d really rather not. Sometimes she gets frustrated when the same result happens over and over again and has to try not to just throw her notes across the table. This weak patience is hard to stifle sometimes.
Enjoys:
Reading and enacting experiments in the school’s lab takes up most of her free time. When she’s deep into research or testing, she’ll often start spacing out and won’t be responsive for a while. Or, if someone humors her, she would play a game of chess.
Dislikes:
People who don’t know when to stop talking and most physical exercise- mainly games involving teams and throwing.
Likes:
The night sky, its cool air, and the stars above. Enjoys chocolates, or honestly just about any sweets except for caramels and licorice. Reads, like a lot, mostly while holed up in her closet (long story).
Species:
Witch- who is learning way too much magic. She often gets a dazed look about her while practicing intensive spells. More on that later
Role:
Leviathan middle child
Ranking:
Apparently moderately dangerous. Well, see, the perception of dangerous is just a social construct designed to- (cries)
Family symbol:
Help what goes here
Other:
Orange or Sage green. Plants and McLaren, what can I say?

Siblings:
So far, Evangeline is the only member of the family without any traits resembling a vampire's. She feels she has to work twice as hard to fulfill her parents' expectations.
River- The oldest of the family. Some of his obscure fashion sense may have trickled down the line to Evangeline. As he is the most quiet out of the siblings, she treats him with more caution then that of Vladimir, who is more prone to showing his emotions and thoughts. She honestly gets a little confused when he acts as "the typical oldest child." Her perception of nobles in this world is that everyone is out for their own gain.
Vladimir- The second oldest, or other middle child. His goal to introduce his siblings to have more humanity... Evangeline really couldn't care less. She knows where he is coming from, but does not deal with the issue herself. As he is the most vocal, and probably kindest, out of the group, she has the most information on him, naturally, and has to worry about him less. But due to his large heart, she could always confide in him if something was seriously wrong. She will be a little skeptical about his relationship with Keithern, however, as she knows his soft spot for the boy could be a major weakness to be exploited.
Bonnie- the youngest, typically a position where the child is spoiled. This is not quite the case here, but Evangeline dislikes being tagged around by people younger than her. It's like every time she turns the corner- ugh, there's no escaping them. But, she does realize that her siblings may not be as bad as the previous generation of the family.
