Name: Gunther

Nickname: “One-Eye”

Age: 7

Gender: Male

Dominance Level: Loner

Appearance:

Gunther is slightly on the larger size, measuring 32 inches at the shoulder and barely resting above average in weight. Despite his age, he is in good shape, his body neither overly bulky nor concerningly slim. He possesses both a fair degree of strength and speed yet steers clear of either extreme. His true strength lies in endurance. Strong and hardy, he outlasts his prey, wearing them down before going in for the kill. Or if he should find himself on the receiving end, he is quick on his feet, ready to weave and dodge incoming attacks until he can find a way out of his predicament. His movements have a certain grace to them, imperfect but nonetheless reflecting a subtle confidence and a certain degree of competence. He gets the job done.

Although his fur is long enough to block out the Alaskan cold, it tends to be on the shorter side, not offering the same protection a thicker coat would. His coat is a blend of reddish, darkening along his backside into a mahogany red and blending into a light cream around his underbelly. The tips of his muzzle have begun to accumulate a soft gray, but otherwise, his face is a light brown with red hues peering through. On his left side, a small scar reaches down from his brow to his cheek, marking the spot where an opponent claimed his eye. The other is a gentle brown, often reflecting his internal composure and sharp mind. Patchy and scarred in various areas, his body reflects the wild life he has lived.

Personality:

Good-natured and good-humored, Gunther’s been around long enough to not take himself too seriously. He’s seen what happens to young wolves that think they can solve every problem with their teeth and even whipped a few back into place himself. Those who rush in head-first as well as those too meek to take a risk will never survive. Instead, Gunther strives for balance, picking his fights and letting sleeping dogs lie. Aware of his role as hunter and quarry, he keeps to himself for the most part, banding together when survival necessitates it and striking out on his own when the opportunity arises. Never too ambitious, he avoids biting off more than he can chew, keeping himself out of the drama that come with packs. He knows what he is and what he is not and has no desire to pretend to be something else.

What does interest Gunther is change. He has seen enough of the same arrogant juveniles or mindless pack wolves come and go throughout the years and is ready for someone to start shaking things up. While there are those who mock the existence of a pack formed of the wild packs’ misfits, Gunther has taken an interest in them, observing them from outside their human sanctuary. These wolves are survivors for having continued to live in a place where absolute rejection from neighboring packs could easily be a death sentence. Though the role of the humans is not to be ignored, as their presence diminishes, he is curious to see what becomes of this group.

Damage:

-One-eyed: Like his nickname suggests, Gunther is missing his left eye, though this is an old injury he has since adapted to.

Strengths:

-Cunning

-Endurance

-Experienced

-Well-rounded

Weaknesses:

-Jack of all trades, master of none

-Raw speed

-Aging

-Complacent

Backstory:

Born and raised in the wild, Gunther has made these lands his home. He has never received nor sought to receive the help of another beyond the mutually beneficial group hunts or the occasional mate. Although he has fathered a fair amount of pups, none have survived due to the nature of the wild. Famine, blizzards, and frigid temperatures had all been contributing factors, as well as the many natural enemies of a wolf. Their mothers have either shared the same fate or went their own way after losing their offspring. While this might bother another wolf, Gunther takes it as a fact of life, moving on through his as he continues to thrive in these unforgiving lands.

Name:
Ookami
Age:
4 years
Gender:
Male
Dominance Level:
4
Appearance:
Standing at the prime of his life, Ookami's physique is a testament to his adaptability and survival instincts.
His fur, a captivating display of axanthic beauty, is a grayscale rendition of what would have been a vibrant coat. Shades of black, white, and various greys intertwine seamlessly, giving him an almost ethereal appearance. The muted tones of his pelage evoke a sense of timelessness, as if he carries the echoes of a lost wilderness. Ookami's build is lean and muscular, a product of years spent navigating the rugged terrain of his imagined ancestral home. His movements are graceful and deliberate, reflecting a keen awareness of his surroundings. The fur on his neck and shoulders is slightly longer, adding to his regal and commanding presence. The most striking feature of Ookami is his pale green eyes, which stand out against the grayscale backdrop of his fur. These eyes hold a depth of wisdom and a touch of melancholy. His gaze is piercing and observant, a reflection of the untamed spirit that courses through his veins. Ookami's ears stand erect, perpetually attuned to the whispers of the wind and the rustle of leaves. His nose is keen, capable of deciphering the myriad scents that saturate the air. A set of powerful jaws and sharp teeth, concealed behind a dignified exterior, are a reminder of his primal nature and the unforgiving reality of survival.
Personality:
Resilient Survivor. Having faced the hardships of being ousted from his pack, Ookami has developed a remarkable resilience, adapting to challenging circumstances with unwavering determination.
Instictive Protector. Despite his solitary nature, Ookami harbors a deep-seated instinct to protect those in need, a trait ingrained in him from his pack days.
Haunted By Loss. The experience of being cast out by his pack has left a lingering sorrow in Ookami, a quiet melancholy that colors his interactions with the world.
Unyielding Loyalty. Despite being exiled, Ookami clings to the remnants of pack loyalty, often struggling with conflicting desires for independence and a sense of belonging.
Innate Curiousity. Ookami possesses an insatiable curiosity about the world, a trait that propels him to explore the mysteries of nature and the remnants of a world that has changed.
Damage:
Axanthic - His unique appearance became a source of dislike from his old pack, leading to his expulsion. They didn't like how he looked, so they kicked him out. He's okay with his appearance, but he worries about what others might think.
Strengths:
Keen Senses. Ookami's senses, heightened by years of survival in the wild, are finely tuned. His acute hearing allows him to detect subtle sounds, while his keen sense of smell enables him to track prey and identify potential dangers in the environment.
Stealth and Agility. Ookami excels in moving silently through various terrains, utilizing his axanthic fur to blend seamlessly with his surroundings. His agility allows him to navigate dense forests and rocky landscapes with grace, making him an adept hunter and avoiding potential threats.
Cunning Tracker. Ookami's ability to interpret and follow scents makes him a skilled tracker. He can discern the nuances of various odors, allowing him to follow trails with precision and predict the movements of potential prey or rivals.
Swift Reflexes. Ookami's survival in the wild has sharpened his reflexes to a high degree. His quick reactions make him adept at dodging sudden threats, whether it be evading an oncoming predator or swiftly responding to changes in the environment.
Weaknesses:
Vulnerability to Extreme Weather. Ookami's axanthic fur, while beneficial for camouflage, makes him more susceptible to temperature extremes. He may struggle in harsh weather conditions, particularly in extreme cold or heat.
Limited Social Skills. He may find it challenging to interact seamlessly with other wolves or creatures, leading to occasional misunderstandings.
Overthinking Perceptions. Ookami is sensitive to the perception of his axanthic fur, and he often overthinks how others might judge him based on his unique coloration. This self-consciousness can affect his confidence in certain social situations.
Trust Issues. Ookami's past experience of being cast out has left him with trust issues. He may be hesitant to rely on or trust others, fearing a repeat of the betrayal he once experienced within his original pack.
Backstory:
Ookami's origins trace back to a pack distinguished by golden and white-coated wolves, with his lineage stemming from a mated pair of the latter. However, his arrival into the world was marked by immediate rejection due to the stark contrast of his darker fur. Despite his efforts to assimilate within the pack, Ookami found himself ostracized and ultimately compelled to leave at the tender age of one.
It was during this challenging period of solitude that Ookami encountered a group of "Damaged Wolves." United by their shared experiences of rejection and isolation, they formed a close-knit pack. Embracing the companionship of these fellow outcasts, Ookami played a straightforward role in establishing the bonds that defined their unconventional pack dynamics.
Despite his contentment within this newfound community, Ookami's stoic demeanor often concealed his happiness. His integration into the "Damaged wolves" marked a significant chapter in his life, one where acceptance and camaraderie prevailed over the harsh judgments that had marred his early days.

Accepted! It's alright. I have finals. I have my shy girl to finish and two other character in other roleplay to finish. But I have finals this week so it's hard.

Side-note: I'll be creating the discussion thread as I have my character done. Which will be soon.

Name:
East
Age:
5 years old
Gender:
Male
Role:
Loner
Appearance:
East, the runt among the Eastern Wolf pack, stands out with a unique and endearing appearance. Despite being smaller than the average wolf, East compensates with an exceptional spirit and an indomitable will. His fur is a captivating blend of earthy tones, ranging from a warm, sandy beige on his underbelly to a deeper, reddish-brown along his back. Soft and plush, East's fur is akin to the finest silk, reflecting sunlight in a mesmerizing way. Despite his diminutive size, his fur is notably well-kept, showcasing a natural sheen. One of East's most striking features is his bright golden eyes. Expressive and intelligent, his gaze betrays a depth of resilience that contradicts his smaller frame. The golden eyes stand out against the earthy tones of his fur, giving him an almost magical appearance. Despite his smaller stature, East has a lean and agile build. Well-muscled legs enable him to navigate the challenging terrain of the Eastern wilderness with surprising grace.
Personality:
Courageous. East's smaller size doesn't diminish his courage. He faces challenges head-on, whether it's hunting for sustenance or navigating the wilderness alone. His bravery is evident in every aspect of his life.
Adventurous. East's curious nature and love for exploration lead him to venture into uncharted territories. Despite the risks, he embraces the thrill of discovery, finding beauty and opportunity in the unknown.
Independant. Having been forced to fend for himself from an early age, East has developed a strong sense of independence. He relies on his own instincts and skills, making him a self-sufficient and resourceful individual.
Observant. East's time alone has honed his observational skills. He pays attention to the details in the environment, recognizing patterns, and discerning potential threats or opportunities, a trait that aids his survival.
Persistant. The rejection and social issues haven't deterred East's pursuit of acceptance. He persists in proving his worth, continually working towards earning a place in the world, whether it's rejoining a pack or forging new connections in the vast wilderness.
Backstory:
East, born as a runt, managed to escape the humans' attempt to take him to the sanctuary. Despite being smaller, they didn't chase him, assuming he'd be fine. Watching from a distance, he observed the humans collect more wolves with various differences, and once they left, he felt sorry for the abandoned pack.
Having been rejected by his former pack, East kept his distance, becoming a quiet observer. Only after the humans departed did he start bringing prey to the other wolves, pretending he just dropped it on his way by. Despite appearing indifferent, he secretly cared for them. In addition, East tried to protect them from other loners when possible, but sometimes failed to do so, underscoring the challenges of his solitary existence and his attempts to provide support to those in need.
Damage:
Runt - Being born a runt marked East's life with a unique set of challenges. His diminutive size led to his rejection from his former pack, a painful experience that left him navigating the vast wilderness alone. As a result, his days as a solitary wolf proved to be tougher than those of his larger counterparts. Hunting became a bit more difficult, requiring extra effort and cunning to secure sustenance. The social dynamics were equally affected, making the process of making friends a bit more challenging as his size set him apart. Despite these hurdles, East's resilience and determination shine through as he carves out his place in the wilderness, proving that strength comes in various forms, even in the life of a runt.
Strengths:
Agility. Despite his smaller size, East is remarkably agile, allowing him to navigate the challenging terrain of the Eastern wilderness with grace and precision.
Observational Skills. East has honed his ability to observe details in his environment, making him adept at recognizing patterns, identifying potential threats, and discovering opportunities.
Resilience. The rejection from his former pack and the challenges of being a runt have forged a resilient spirit in East. He bounces back from setbacks with determination.
Courage. East's smaller stature doesn't diminish his courage. He faces challenges head-on, displaying bravery in hunting and confronting threats.
Independance. Forced to fend for himself at an early age, East has developed a strong sense of independence. He relies on his own instincts and skills to survive.
Weaknesses:
Size Limitation. East's smaller size is a clear physical limitation, making him more vulnerable in confrontations with larger predators or aggressive foes.
Limited Strength. While agile, East lacks the sheer strength of larger wolves. Taking down larger prey or defending against formidable adversaries can be challenging.
Social Issues. The rejection by his former pack and the social stigma associated with being a runt make it more challenging for East to form meaningful connections with other wolves.
Limited Intimidation Factor. In confrontations, East may struggle to intimidate opponents due to his smaller size, potentially making him a target for aggression.
Difficulty Hunting. East's diminutive size makes hunting more difficult, requiring extra effort and strategy to secure enough food for sustenance.
