Appearance:

He is on the smaller size scale, being a mere ninety-three pounds and standing at twenty-seven inches. His legs aren’t long or lanky like one built for running. Nor are they like solid tree trunks that won’t fall no matter the hurricane. He’s stocky, but not in his favor. His fur is thick from the winter cold and is now shedding in clumps with the warmer spring coming on.

The edges of his eyes are a deep, dark color like that of a dying autumn leaf whose orange pigment is being overcome by the dead brown. From there it rises into cinnamon. The texture looks like cinnamon, not the coloring that is. The coloring is of a pale mix of an off white cream, the odd orange-brown at the edges of his eyes and a yellow. Then there is the pupil in the center. It was as if it was added in last by water colors because there are grey smudges at the edges of the black drop of sight.

His base coloring is a light grey. His paws to his shoulders is a darker coloring like a slate. The same for his hind legs, but the dark grey fades into the ash on his hips. On his elbows are the original grey coloring. His belly is a touch lighter than the light grey but not by much. His neck fur is the slate painted over the base coat so that the roots are the lighter grey. The tail and bum are the ash color with the very tip being a color darker than the slate making it look like coal shards. His ears are the same coloring as the tail tip. His cheeks are a mixture between the two greys. Then it darkens into his muzzle which ends in a black nose.

He owns no scars. This will change.

Personality:

He claims that he isn’t a jealous wolf. He tries not to be, but it’s really hard. Especially when everyone else always wins. When everyone else always gets the back slap. When everyone else always is faster, stronger, smarter and just better than him in seemingly everything. The angry, raging, green monster takes hold and seizes him. It grabs his attention and pours hatred inside his heart. It fuels him. He knows that he’s not going to succeed in everything, but maybe he’ll be able to survive. No, he is going to survive. If it’s not his own talents, then it’s going to be his spite and anger that will lead him into the ranks of his forefathers. He can’t help but scornful snarl at the popular wolves and their brawn or their speed. He’s not very popular for this and he knows that this will hurt his chances of being beta, but he doesn’t care. They disgust him with their potential to win.

He isn’t a terrible wolf or only a cold hearted, selfish beast. He can be very gentle and compassionate. Despite his hate and despite his ambition, he will aid a hurt competitor during the trials. Maybe not carrying them across the finish line, but a small gift of food. It’s against his reputation to do this. It’s against his anger, but it’s his nature and he cannot help himself but feel pity. He is compelled to help them. He’d never admit that he had helped them. It would hurt his pride just a touch that he would help the enemy. It also was concerning for him as he might help a wounded wolf from an enemy pack because of his compassion. He’s nervous that he might doom the pack because of that weakness. He doesn’t really see compassion as weakness. He knows it’s not, but it could potentially lead him into a terrible future because he gave and felt instead of keeping his resolve and keeping his priorities straight.

He is ambitious and wants to be the beta or delta. He’s willing to work hard for it, but it’s the working with others that catches him. He has an idea on how to get it, but he’s just not open enough for it. He finds the idea of opening up terrifying. His mind and his feelings would feel exposed. He’s suspicious of their prying and their tugging at his heartstrings. He has armor around his being and around himself so that others can’t pry inside and eat him alive with their betrayal and hurtful words. Keeping himself from others also makes him terrible with other wolves. Not that he works bad with them, which he sort of does, but that he’s socially awkward. If you introduce yourself to him, he’ll stare at you until he remembers that he is supposed to tell you his name. He has only had friends who were males and mainly talked to guys, mainly a lot of bravado. Females make him nervous and his fur gets hot whenever one just looks at him. He’s had small crushes before and each time he ended up acting like an idiot in front of them. You could almost see the dumb puppy love turn his eyes into hearts.

What's the best way to describe this angry ball of fur? Well, like her insane relatives, she can be a teethful. Correction, your exposed ankles would be nipped by this angry furball. She has a bad habit of biting, with her favorite thing to bite being unprotected tails. From what Blath describes her, she's a rodent that will steal your food and proceed to bite you without warning. Have a bone that you're currently chewing on? Well, that's her bone, and she'll attempt to drag it away from you. To add, she's hyperactive, which doesn't soak well with her feisty personality. Mallacht enjoys wrestling more than biting her victims. Since she's the only pup, she'll play fight with available adults. Yes, be deathly afraid of this pup unless you want to lose a patch of fur.

Mallacht is quite adventurous and will sneak out of the camp whenever possible. She knows it's against the rules, but where are the thrills of not being caught? Yes, she's a massive sensation-seeker. It would be boring to be watched over 24/7, so she's doing you a favor by leaving without telling you. See? Everyone wins: You "watch" over her while she explores with little-to-no hassle. Think about this trade deal of a lifetime! As payment, she'll bring back whatever she finds exciting from her adventures. Mallacht is a free spirit that tosses the idea of danger to the wind. Good luck with trying to scare her. She laughs in the face of danger. The biggest question is: would she try to cross a dangerous river? Knowing her, that might be a yes.

Mallacht is a collector of sorts and has a keen eye when it comes to things. Her collection ranges from living to non-living things, with her favorite things to collect being rocks. She can be seen digging around in the woods, searching for anything that may catch her interest. She'll happily give you her items, but only if she likes you enough. Having an extra sense when it comes to finding things, even going as far as climbing trees or crossing rivers. Nothing will stop her from getting such valuables unless you're a bear. You won that time, but she will come back. . .eventually.
