- - ┈┈∘┈˃̶༒˂̶┈∘┈┈ - - Kenji Bozzelli - - ┈┈∘┈˃̶༒˂̶┈∘┈┈ - - "Bozzelli" Age: 18 Gender: Male Role: New Rider Appearance: A look at Kenji is enough to confuse anyone of his age, his strong figure, and eyes make him appear older, while his facial features still have a boyish look to them. He is a lean creature with defined features, of which, include his facial features. Kenji's jaw is angled and sharp from the side, yet looking at him straight on his face doesn't seem as defined, giving a softer, if you will, boyish appearance. His nose is straight and angled down, perfectly centered in his face, which takes on a more squarish shape to it. His lips are full and are colored a soft pink in contrast to his tanned skin tone, which has warmer undertones allowing him to have golden skin in the summer. His lips are also shaped in a near-perfect cupid bow. Kenji has dazzling green eyes, speckled with various shades of green, turning paler as the colors fade to his iris. A look into them is enough to turn things serious, they're a window into his soul, revealing a completely other side to him. His eyes never lie about his true feelings. His eyes are framed by dark brown lashes, thick and full, nearly enough to make any girl jealous, as his sister tells him. When he laughs you can see little crinkles or "crow's feet" under his eyes, paired with a loud deep voice. Now this male's eyebrows are sharper and angulated, making his facial features seem sharper and defined at times. His smile is boyish with his crooked grin and flashy white teeth, causing small dimples to appear on either side of his face if he attempts the motion. Bozzelli's hair is definitely an attention-getter, with his "long locks" nearly touching the nape of his neck. His hair is colored a soft brown and is thick and lush, paired with natural curls to get the girls. The curl type itself is between a 3a and a 3b, allowing some sporadic springy ringlets to form on his head and its visibly healthy hair. It has a sort of gleam to it in the light and is soft to the touch. Kenji normally styles it with a shower before bed, and then allows his hair to air dry before sleeping on it and then going with the bedhead the next morning. His hair is low maintenance and does not need product unless he's feeling like doing the work to get it there, he's generally a bit lazy when it comes to this part of his morning routine. Kenji is the King of bedhead and messy hair, and no one can rival this. His figure has been worked on for over the past few years. Keeping in shape has kept Kenji's sanity, and he honestly wouldn't know what to do without it. Running has kept him lean while more weighted exercise has kept his body toned and in prime condition. His torso is narrower, yet his hips and broad shoulders balance it out. His stomach is toned, allowing sight of his abdominal muscles, yet more impressive is this male's back and biceps. After gaining some muscle mass flexing became his personality, yet he has slowly grown more humble about the progress of his physique, yet sometimes he can't help by subtle flex, or by bringing up his strength to impress when he needs it. His weight is slightly above average for your normal male boy, with his height adding to his impressive figure. Kenji stands at an impressive 6'2", and he won't let anyone a millimeter shorter than him get away from his sight without making a height joke. Bozzelli's scent is a distinctive salt water scent, a single inhale gives you the smell of a crisp morning on the ocean so clear you can envision it. Another recognizable scent is the faint smell of coffee grounds, Kenji's current lifeline. As a "caffeine addict," he drinks it regularly, leaving the scent to linger on him throughout the day. The day you catch this man without his caffeine is a bad day for anyone, you know it's ruff when you catch a whiff of BO. instead of coffee grounds. Few know this about Kenji, but he does have a piercing. A smaller silver stud is pierced into his right ear, given to him as a gift from his mother. It was a family heirloom and is considered good luck. It's normally covered by his hair, so it's not very noticeable until he ties his hair back, or a glint of the sun catches in it. A few other unknowns about this male include various degrees of birthmarks, he does have a light spray of freckles and small moles across his face, shoulders, and arms, but he has a lighter patch of skin stretched over his ribs. It's on the lateral sides of his body, almost a slight discoloration of the skin if you will. Besides that, he has 20/20 vision and is basically built to pick up anyone's mom. Personality: Ah, Kenji, there are many phrases that can be used to describe this young man, "reckless", "flirty", "ambitious", and "confident". But you wouldn't expect intellect to necessarily play a role, considering his spontaneous, irrational seeming, behavior. Kenji is quite observant, always watching and absorbing information. It helps that he has an impeccable memory, allowing him to better read people and remember small details about them. This translates nicely to intelligence, as he can remember so much information without being overwhelmed. He is calculating and aware of his surroundings, and Kenji's survival instincts are off the chart. He grew up the youngest of 6 siblings, so his parents grew lax and let him roam pretty freely when he was younger, and not living in the safest neighborhood he often had to watch his own back and take care of himself. Kenji taught himself to grow up, often overlooked as his older, talented siblings took light, but coming to the choosing ceremony was his way of trying to fight his way back into his parent's favor. Perhaps if he could do something amazing and bond with a dragon it would be enough to get their attention. This lack of parenting has left him pretty attention-starved, he's turned into a very social person to try and counteract these feelings of loneliness and often goes out of his way to be vocal and try and make friends. He can be very optimistic and prefers to see the positive in life versus the negative. With this, he often blocks out negative emotions and hides behind humor. Now, don't get me wrong, Kenji is extremely hilarious and sarcastic, constantly cracking jokes and trying to put smiles on people's faces, -and is also a HUGE fan of making nicknames for people- but he uses it to distract from his own feelings. He has never been good at expressing himself and has trouble opening up. Kenji has kept himself in shape for as long as he can remember. Running and strength training is his only outlet for pent-up anger and sadness he doesn't know how to express, and his muscles ache for these activities. His endurance is sub-par, but that doesn't stop him, he pushes and pushes hard until he has nothing left in the tank, completely collapsing until he can do it all over again. Every training session he has he works double time, he feeds off of his improvement and craves to be better. Bozzelli is extremely competitive and will fight for the win at anything he does, he's an all-or-nothing kind of guy and won't half-ass any job or drill. Recently he has been excelling at some hand-to-hand combat, and his swordsmanship has improved as well, he's been looking for new techniques and better teachers, and hopes to learn more during his training as a rider as well. He's a sponge when it comes to soaking up information, and dragons + adrenaline = a dedicated Kenji, he will be thrilled with bonding and hopes to catch on quickly. His slight incoordination will not help with this, however, he is willing to face the embarrassment of falling off of his dragon in order to learn how to ride. Coming into this he hardly knows a thing about how to act around dragons, let alone how the bonding process works since he was not sure he would even get the chance to try and bond with these magnificent creatures. Despite this Kenji will do his best to work in a partnership and pull his end to make it work. When it comes to spending time with friends Kenji does relax and is not afraid to be his authentic self. While he is a lot of talk, this young man is also a great listener, he can sit still and listen to you ramble for hours if need be. He didn't get that luxury growing up, so he tries to reciprocate it to others. While enjoying time with friends, Kenji does value time alone. Being with people for so long can wear a person out, and he does like just sitting and being in silence. Particularly in nature, he likes colors in fall and spring weather, rainy days, or even light snow. The weather is fascinating and beautiful to experience and just being in the quiet of it is soothing and relaxing. He does value these moments of peace, because he is normally a "go go go" kind of person, preferring to be more productive than just sit around, but he does still enjoy these moments. Speaking of being a productive person, this can be credited to Kenji's best friend, caffeine. Coffee pretty much keeps him alive, and having the extra energy boost allows him to get more stuff done, and be better productive throughout the day. You can tell when he hasn't had a cup of coffee, often grumpy and tired seeming. Kenji is a passionate person, in his emotions and friendships, and even arguments. He is generally not one to back down or give in. Giving in means losing and Kenji will refuse to lose. He can be stubborn, refusing help or refusing to be wrong when he truly believes he is in the right. This stubbornness transfers over to matters concerning the safety of his loved ones, he is very protective of his friends and close family, and will not allow their safety to be compromised. Believe it or not, Bozzelli thrives under high-pressure situations. He is clear and level-headed and can quickly think through situations. With high stakes, it pushes him to do better and be better. Dragon: Open Strengths & Weaknesses: -Combat, he is good with a sword and has the muscle mass to wield large weapons, as well as potentially be good in hand-to-hand combat once he begins to master more techniques. -Fast thinking, which has saved his ass plenty of times. He can come up with detailed plans if given time, but Bozzelli is also good at improvising. -Kenji is good at listening, for all of his ramblings he can take sitting down and hearing the straight details. -He is not as agile as some others, nor as flexible due to his current training. -Comprehending emotions, he tends to bury his own and hide it with humor, but he also has a bit of a hard time fully reading people and their intentions. -Lack of experience and knowledge, he has hardly any idea on how to go about and do this dragon bonding/riding business. Likes & Dislikes: -Big fan of cardio....running of course! And staying in shape, he physically cannot let himself take a day off without feeling guilty, however, he still enjoys this time. -Individual time alone. Kenji is a social being, but he also values time alone to sort out his own thoughts. He also doesn't mind the personal downtime. -Dragons are, of course, fascinating creatures...yada yada yada. But what he really likes about them is the thrill and adrenaline he receives when around them, the thought of the unknown is almost thrilling. And Kenji does not know a lot about dragons. -Coffee. His lifeline. Good luck getting him to be productive without any sort of caffeine. -He enjoys the simple things in life, like getting a fresh pair of socks, cool rain, or starry nights. He is also competitive. -Kenji is NOT a fan of the snarky or stuck-up, and he will let you know how he feels about that behavior when the time comes. -Sticky, hot weather does not make for a happy Kenji. -He doesn't like to sit still for too long, he is a productive person Crush: None - If any it will develop I don't want any pre-set relationships for Kenji this time around!

The nicknames will never end for this poor girl, and neither will his banter with her. Little did she know the type of friendship she would be getting herself into as she and Kenji grew close...They become friends late in school and have known each other for years, though really becoming close these last two or three*. He is slightly obsessed with the fact that her mom is a famous dragon rider, and likes to bring it up when he can. Kenji feels like he can go to Kez for anything, her down-to-earth nature keeps him grounded, and her intelligence level is truly astonishing to him, and he is extremely loyal to her. Never will he let anything harm his friend. Birdie (AKA his short friend >:) ) - Bestie for the Restie 2/2 Birdie, Birdie, Birdie, so much can be said for the friendship between these two. Kez had introduced the pair of them two years ago and he hasn't looked back since. Kenji basically feeds off of Birdie's vibe, down for whatever mood she's in and constantly joking around with her. If Boz is feeling a little wild he runs to Birdie, with their spontaneity and competitiveness you know something is bound to go down. On a more serious note, Kenji is comfortable being his true self around her and will show up to support Birdie whenever she needs him. As their friendship continues so does their bond, and there is no doubt that Kenji would put his life on the line to make sure she stays safe. He'll turn up for his squad (Kez and Birdie >:) Sedna (Old Friend) Sedna and Kenji go back quite some time. During their younger teen years around 11-14, the pair were good friends, though unfortunately, Kenji's family had to move away, causing the pair to grow apart. Her jawline is strong, a defining line cutting across her face enough to distract anyone. And her flashing white teeth straightened to a T. This woman's face is heart-shaped and long, with clear almond skin, having just finished off her hormonal teen years, she is only left with small blemishes that have since healed over. Her skin has warm undertones, allowing her to better tan, and giving her skin a darker appearance. Her eyes are bright and large, with emerald green orbs flecked with hints of gold. A look into her stunning eyes and you can see the intricacy of the colors, with stunning deep greens lining her outer iris, turning paler in comparison as it reaches her pupils. The depths of them have no end, as the various greens intermingle with strands of gold, making her eyes bright and flashy. Framing her eyes are a set of long dark lashes, thin and delicate, nearly reaching her softly angled, low-arched eyebrows, colored a dark brown to match her hair. Beneath her lower lash line, lies a small birthmark, or mole, just a small black dot. Veetabhi's lips are full and pink, shaped into a perfect cupids-bow. There slightly turned down on the edges giving them the look of a slight pout. Her nose is small and straight, coming to a slight curve at the tip of her nose, turning it up and giving her a slight button nose appearance. In addition to this, she has another facial "marking" of sorts, she has a scar crossing horizontally across the bridge of her nose, though it has faded so one will have to be up close to see it. She also has dark freckles, very similar to the color of her skin, making them subtle in her appearance. In addition to these features she also has piercing, particularly one on each of her ear lobes, and then her cartilage is pierced on her right ear with a silver band. Her hair itself is very long and thick, stretching down to her tailbone in long black waves. She has a wolf cut, meaning her hair has more choppy layers on top, and then longer layers on the sides of her head. With natural waves to it, and the occasional sporadic curl to it. Her figure is slightly curved, with a faint outline of an hourglass shape to it, while her bust is smaller. Veetabhi comes to stand at a solid 5'4" inches, making her on the cusp of average height and short. Despite her smaller size, she makes up in strength and agility. She is quick and light on her feet, being able to maintain a larger degree of flexibility while also seeming toned. She has been training for a while, you can see the muscle in her arms and legs, worked on for years as she's trained with her bonded leader. Veetabhi has trained for the position of Squad leader for a very long time, and finally earning it is the validation she needed to prove to others of her success and hard work. At a glance this female's stride is swift and smooth, she walks with purpose, with her head held high, making her seem like she always has somewhere important to be. Her scent is that of lavender and lightly of lemongrass. Personality: Veetabhi is young, just a year above the oldest new rider, yet she had been riding and training for years. Being so close to the ages of the new riders she fears she won't be respected enough, and with so many new riders she's hoping she can grab hold of them to pull the riders through their training. The more cooperative they are, the easier this will be, though she still has her fears. She tends to put up a defensive front, not letting anyone in unless absolutely necessary, almost a mental wall between her and the world if you will. She is more closed off and independent when she can be. Now don't get me wrong, she is fine around people and can work in a team, and can especially lead a team, but there are moments she just needs peace to herself. Now she does have a bit of a temper, and being surrounded by hormonal, irritable kids is not helping this woman's case. She is willing to push aside her stereotype of the other teenagers, despite being one herself, if they are willing to, in turn, prove their dedication and willingness to learn. Veeta has had to grow up fast, far mature beyond her years to the point where she doesn't consider herself to still technically be a teen. She is a great teacher, able to explain things clearly and decisively with her words. Her actions and words are straight and to the point, she has never been one to beat around the bush. She can often come across as sharp or sarcastic without meaning to. Veetabhi's success stems from her intense training and impeccable memory, without it she wouldn't be the person she is today. She pushes herself to the limit, forcing long nights and extra training days. She has pushed so hard for this position and once she found out she had been selected for it she was ecstatic. She is a competitive person at heart, and losing her biggest competition was not an option. She works great with those of younger age but pushes past any doubt when dealing with riders with greater years of experience. She is confident in her knowledge and ability to teach and guide people. Veetabhi is very particular about how things are run, she's not a 'my way or the highway' and is open to criticism, but likes to run things a certain way. She is a quick thinker, and very intelligent, many times this skill has saved her life, and as a dragon rider she believes this is an essential skill. Veetabhi also understands the leader she needs to grow into, being new to the position there will be slight hiccups along the way, but she is goal and task orientated and very adaptable, so reaching there shouldn't necessarily be an issue. Her patience may be a bit shorter with those that she finds annoying or with those trying to seek attention. She may be social, but it's to an extent. Her friends are often those that she speaks with, and while she may hop in on a group conversation, it is not likely. This female may also be sarcastic, her comments are meant to be too harmful, but it may seem that way to a more sensitive person. She is normally more serious, so she won't speak this way a whole lot. Veetabhi is hardworking, always putting forth her best effort. She is dependable, and you can count on her to do her part, she is not one to sit by and idly watch. Veeta is very determined and is not one to give up easily. Veetabhi can be apathetic around half of the time, appearing blank or emotionless. This female will show emotions like concern, or elation, but keeps her 'private life' closed off. She doesn't need to appear weak or look as if she is seeking attention. Her goal is to keep her affairs and life on the down low, not wanting to draw attention to herself for her safety and to focus on the tasks ahead. Particularly training the new riders, as it has consumed a lot of her time. Veetabhi hates to be pitied, and will definitely act more snappy if she is. When this woman makes threats, she means them, they are to instill fear into whom she is addressing. She should be taken seriously. They are used as a last resort to get her point across and are never used excessively. This rider is loyal, loyal to herself, to her friends, and to those who she believes are in the right. This female is also quite protective, her circle of friends is smaller, and to lose one of them would be horrid and she would never forgive herself. Veeta is an observant person, if she sees something that seems off, she takes it into consideration. Especially if it comes to the new riders and their dragons. The female holds herself to a higher standard, if she were to miss something, she may take it a bit more personally. Though she won't let it show to those around her, she tries to be strong for the sake of others. She fears if they see her crack she won't be as respected. Veeta is hardworking, always putting forth her best effort. Encouragement or coddling won't help her as much in a stressful situation, she needs more of a demand or something fear-inspiring if she is going to kick ass. Her words are chosen carefully as is her tone, Veetabhi can be a very convincing person when she needs to be, often using the skill on those she wants something from or to convince someone of something. Role: New Dragon Class: Seer Class Appearance: Nuria’s impressive stature brings her to stand at a solid 19 ft tall at the shoulder, not quite 250 years she still has room to grow. Her build is muscular, when she moves you can see the power in her stride and in Nuria’s powerful flight capabilities. This dragon had a set of double wings, the first set sized large and powerful, the top of it is colored black and the underside is a wine red. Her wings are made of a membrane-like material, thicker at the base and thinner towards their tips, of which have a small, hook-like spike on the end of each of the bones in her wing. Her second set of wings is only slightly smaller and is colored the exact same as her larger wings and the same in anatomy. This pair is underneath her other set of wings, this allows her to choose to fly with one set or both, as she can tuck the smaller pair into her sides, hiding them underneath her other wings. The size difference is not very noticeable despite the lower pair being slightly smaller. A look at her is almost not enough to determine the pattern across her scales, which consists of a black so dark it’s void of any color, making her scale pattern blend into each other seamlessly. On her underbelly, her scales look like large plates of armor, but throughout the rest of her, her scales are smaller sizes. They have no sheen to them, making her hard to see in the dark, as no light reflects off of them, often just absorbing the light into her sides, Nuria is deadly at night, with her size one might question that, but this dragon is light on her feet and black as the night, giving her the element of surprise. Her scales are rounded on the ends and lock into a weaving pattern to form her exterior shield. She is not entirely colored black, but her underside is rather, a wine-red color. It colors the soft scales of her belly and up through her neck to the base of her head. The undersides of her claws are colored a much darker red, closer to black, but nonetheless red. Her claws themselves are four-pronged and sharp, each equipped with a sharp white claw. She has four powerful legs, the insides of them again colored a wine red but the outer side is completely black. Going into her tail, a similar coloring pattern is seen, with the underside dark red and the top being black. From the base of her neck to the tip of her tail there are spikes of various sizes going down her back, colored black enough to blend in with her scales, if you're standing in the right position you won’t be able to even see them, as they will blend seamlessly into her back. These spikes are slightly larger in the middle of her back, and sort of taper out into smaller ones at the end of her tail and the base of her head, giving it the look of a sort of fin, but of course, made out of spikes. Nuria’s head is long and slender, an almost delicate thing. Her mouth is filled with razor-sharp teeth, smaller ones in the back moving to much larger ones in the front, when her mouth is closed a few larger ones can be seen hanging outside of her mouth. She has multiple rows of teeth, losing one simply does not matter as there are so many more, and it can easily be regrown. Now under her jaw is a soft spot with smaller scales colored red, that connect to the same red of her underbelly. The rest of her head is black, save for her eyes and a spot underneath them. As a Seer dragon, Nuria is losing her sight, as this process occurs the blood vessels rupture in her eyes, causing them to turn red until she cannot see, meaning the world will continue to be tinged red as her loss of sight progresses. When she was born her eyes were initially a pretty brown, flecked with amber, but as this process has occurred her Iris has shifted to a red hue, its edges completely tinged with a blood-red color that is slowly working its way to cover her pupil. Meaning in the next three years her eyes will continue to progress this way, until she cannot see, then she will have completely red eyes. No pretty shades of brown, just solid red encasing her eye. It’s pretty near to this now, but she can still see things up close as well as blurred shapes in the distance, Bright lights also affect her as well, as she becomes more sensitive to living in a dark world, bright lights startle her. She also has a red marking to match the color of her eyes right beneath her orbs. It’s a red line of sorts, almost giving it the loop of eyeliner, it’s a short little “swoop” marking directly beneath her water line, pointing towards her tail. This is under both eyes. Besides her distracting bright red eyes, contrasting her darker scales, you are drawn into the arrangement of horns upon her head. She has a sort of crown that they create, with the sheer multitude of them being great. Large and distracting she has a line of small ones jutting out to look more like nubs along the sides of her face, and moving up her head she has a large pair of curled horns, similar to that of a ram on either side of her head, Nuria had another set, a pair of horns much straighter and large jutting straight back on her head. In addition to this, she has a few smaller ones filling in the gaps, creating a crown-like assortment. A look in her direction brings you to her blood-red eyes, but also to the other markings beneath them. Nuria has a large gash right beneath her right eye, which she earned from a battle some years ago which nearly took the sight from her. This would have been unfortunate considering she would still have to lose it a few years later. Luckily it’s just healed into a scar but still is a visible horizontal mark under her eye. In addition to this, she has a large claw mark, gouging four deep lines into her left hind quarters from a previous battle. Her scales were able to heal around it, but the faint lines are still visible. Nuria has various other small scars that pepper her through the years and from her adventures with Xev. This dragon also has a particular scent, being near her smells something like strong pine or evergreen, as she tends to prefer to spend her time in forests, also inheriting the scent of them from her extensive time there. She has a crisp scent to her, always fresh and like the outdoors. Her gait is something smooth, a steady pace fast enough to keep up and please the fast walkers, but slow enough to allow those slow walkers to keep up. While she prefers to spend more time in the sky, this does not disable her walking abilities. Personality: Ambitious || Cunning || Patient || Dominant || Motivated || Social || Loyal || Calculating & Deliberate || Respectable || Observant || Intelligent || Optimistic || Cautious || Efficient || Confident || Opinionated || Sarcastic || Stoic Nuria is a dragon with various traits, a few happen to be more apparent than others, such as her confidence, aggression, and her intelligence. This female is calculating and intelligent, she always has a plan and is quick to come up with one if there is a moment that needs one. Her moves are deliberate and well thought out, Nuria isn't the type to rush into a situation and make a fool of herself. She is observant, allowing her to get a better read on those around her, taking in various amounts of information regarding her opponent or the situation. This allows her an advantage in the present situation, and Nuria's years of experience only add to that. She is a respectable creature. She is a very efficient, and accomplished dragon, as shown by her recently developed and perfected abilities. This female also has a good deal of leadership skills, while she is not the Squad Leader's dragon, Nuria is among the slightly older dragons, and taking some form of seniority at times she is good at helping communicate and make confident, split decisions if need be. She was not totally set on the idea of having a rider, yet as she gets to bonding with them her mindset may change. Nuria won't make the first ride easy but she does know what is at stake and is willing to put her personal needs aside until her riders' needs are met. Her loyalty is a strong trait that is easily shown by this female. Her bond with her rider has strengthened through these trying times and his devotion to the other riders and dragons has strengthened in turn. Despite her unwavering loyalty to others, she is by no means a social creature. Nuria will pick and choose who gets to stay in her inner circle of friends, and who goes. Trust is separate from loyalty, and it is a hard thing to earn, and an easy thing to lose, just because she stays loyal to those in the group does not mean she trusts everybody, and she won't get too attached to many for that reason. She is a territorial creature, and one with a more aggressive side, her independence is strong and she is used to relying on herself, so working in a team setting with another human is new news to her. She values personal space and will quickly grow aggressive if you try to interfere with it. Nuria can come across as rather grumpy at times, her patience can run thin if the group isn't making progress, or some insufferable know-it-all won't keep their mouth shut. She dislikes those who don't show humility and finds them rather arrogant. This female will not hesitate to protect her loved ones and friends. Touch a scale on their back or let a snide comment out and she won't hesitate to put you in your place. She is constantly thinking ahead and is quick to adapt to new situations. One could say she overanalyzes situations, preparing for the worst and best outcomes, which can come as an advantage at times. It tends to be a disadvantage in her social game when she starts to overthink her relationships or people's actions. Unless your actions are direct, she might assume you have a different meaning. Nuria is clearly strategic, though she won't always have the luxury of time to prepare. She is good under pressure, a fast thinker, and an even faster learner. She can pick up and adapt to new skills quickly. At times she can be very convincing, seemingly having almost a silver tongue. This dragon is easily entertained. Nuria doesn't need much to keep her occupied, this female is content with taking a nap or watching the wind blow the leaves on the trees around. She isn't one to constantly have the need to go, go, go, but rather enjoys taking moments throughout the day to appreciate life and the nature around her. Nuria does, in fact, hate to stay in one place for long. She has had experiences with dragon hunters in the past, as well as quite the run down with various dragons, so being on the move makes her feel more secure, knowing she can't be tracked to a single location or isn't tied down somewhere. She does like to travel and has had many interesting experiences and stories from over the years. She enjoys admiring fun little trinkets, but she doesn't collect them. Nuria particularly likes anything shiny or anything that resembles her more unique appearance. Rider: Open Abilities: The Sight - Strength, visions of the future, Weakness, going blind: Seer dragons have the ability to have visions, and visions of the future more specifically. They can look into the future and see exactly what is to happen and when. Of course, the future is a tricky thing, predicting moves in battle is one thing, but predicting the future outcome of that battle is another. The more complicated the future and the more it is affected by a larger number of decisions, the more likely it is to change and make the vision faulty. For example, she could see that if one person takes a specific path(the good path) over another, they could meet a positive outcome, though if something else causes them to take the other path(the bad path) that vision is no longer true. She can't predict random forces that might interrupt the process of her prediction, so some can be wrong. The older a dragon gets the easier visions come. However, dragons of this species often begin to go blind as these visions increase and become more intense, in mid-adulthood, they go fully blind. Once this occurs visions happen more fluidly and so frequently it's as if they can still see, because they can use it to determine their surroundings. It becomes less draining because they won't have as much sensory information interfering with it. This also allows their other senses to become heightened, so adjusting to the lack of sight does become easier. Currently, Nuria is nearly blind, though she can still see your rough outline and some bright colors, she will have to use her vision ability to actually see her rider's face when it comes to bonding. Flying - Double wings: Having a second set of wings increases her flying capabilities, making her an insanely strong flyer. This also increases her flying speed and maneuverability, allowing for a quick and efficient escape if need be. Manipulation: A very draining process if used excessively, it can lead to death if over-used. The dragon must have recovery time, during which they are vulnerable after use. In short, the dragon can harness control of another's mind for a short period of time, basically possessing them to do their wishes, whether it's a simple task such as turning around or something more dangerous like a human wielding a sword. The larger the creature they use it on, the more draining, humans are the easiest to manipulate due to their size and fragility. If overused she losses all of her senses until this "cool down" period is over. Glimpse: It allows Nuria to “see” where things are. If she knows the person or thing she is looking for and the general region where it is, she can locate it using the glimpse. The glimpse gives her a visual portal into the desired object's location. Experiencing it blocks out her other senses to focus on mentally reaching out to find the object or person, and allows Nuria to receive a "still-life photo" of the area the object is in within her mind, allowing her to find lost items or locate missing people. As long as she has a 3-mile radius of where the object should be, she can find it. As her powers continue developing and as she grows, this can increase further. The power really starts to rapidly develop around the age of 500. Using this power is a mentally draining task, and if used extensively, it can temporarily eliminate her senses until she can recover. The only way she could communicate at this point would be through her telepathic bond. Fire Breath: As simple as it sounds, however, it is not the strongest of all the dragons due to it not being her primary power. It is quite weak, but still impressive to humans. Strengths & Weaknesses: -She has longevity and superb healing like all dragons, and is resistant to some human magic, her abilities of speed and strength are also enhanced. -Double wings, allowing her to become a way stronger fighter -Agility, and speed. Two of her greatest assets. -Blindness, Nuria is almost completely blind, though this has heightened her other senses. -All dragons are weakened and drained by Iron, she cannot fly with injured wings, and she has soft belly scales leaving her underside more vulnerable -Heat weakens Seer dragons just as it would water dragons, so if not properly hydrated this dragon will go into a state of shock or become really weakened. -Overuse of particular abilities leads to death or loss of her senses for a period of time -Bright lights, they stun her as she is not used to such a sight. Going blind has taken its toll and has begun to manipulate her remaining vision. -Working in a group, she is a more individualized dragon and likes having control of her surroundings. Not holding a position of power she would feel helpless and unsure how to work with a team if she had to. ¤ Kuwaka ¤ Nicknamed: Ku ~ Age: 221 Years Gender: Female Species: Fire Dragon Role: Mentor's Dragon ~ Appearance: Kuwaka is a medium sized dragon, reaching the height of 15.2 feet tall. She is honestly quite terrifying to those who don't know her personality. Though when you get to know her, looking at her is more magnificent than anything. She looks more like a giant cat with two small tusks that pop out of her mouth like a saber-toothed tiger, but they aren't as dramatically long as them. They barely reach longer than where her chin ends. She doesn't have fur, but fire replacing some spots where it's missing. Her skin is black, and has an ashy texture to it, and an ashy feel. -[~|~]- Face: Ku's face looks more like that of a normal tiger. Her nose is big, and has a black color to it, and her teeth are a more yellow color. Her ears are pointed up, but rounded at the ends like an average house cat. Where fur inside would be inside is fire instead. Her cheeks have fire on them, replacing where you'd normally see fur on. Her eyes are a beautiful amber color, like the color of the morning sky, which morning happens her be her favorite time of the day. Neck: Ku's neck is thin like an average house cat, the only thing being abnormal is her ashy skin and the long waves of fire coming off of it, acting like a mane, but an untouchable mane. Well, her neck is touchable if you ask her to turn her fire off. Body: Ku's body is the more pettable place, since there's no fire there other than on her spine. She has a more slim build, and since she's female, not having much visible muscle like a male would. She has the same ashy skin all over. Legs + Paws: Ku naturally has powerful legs due to all the running she has to do. She even has to run to "fly". They are also very long too, and help her propell herself forward at faster speeds. Her paws are big, and look like an average tiger's paws. Both of her paws have retractable claws inside, and the tips are lit with tiny fires. Tail: Ku has a long, lion-like tail, but with a fire tip. Fire Spots: On her cheeks. In between her two ears on top of her head. All around her neck like a mane. Down her spine. On her paw pads when she is preparing to "fly". Due to this trait, she can be a dragon you can rely on to tell a secret to and not worry about her telling others. She won't tell a soul. Ku has a happy spirit. She is very kind, caring, and warm, but also has a more curious side. She is affectionate and loving to her friends, but may be very cautious and quiet around strangers. She's humble, and meek, and never brags about her possessions, or accomplishments. She most likely will try and change the subject if you bring her up, by asking you a question. Some may think she's weak because is her kindness, but she definitely is not. She is compassionate, sympathetic, and empathetic. She does a good job at understanding other's feelings, and comforting them. She can be rather sensitive though, so you may want to be careful what you say around her so she doesn't misunderstand you. She is very charismatic, being kind, caring, attractive, and having good leadership skills. Ku is a very brave fighter. She's bold. She may seem like someone to run away at the hint of danger, but she isn't. Though she may hate it, she will fight if necessary, and won't run away unless they will obviously wreck her. She is almost unshakable, which can make her act reckless in a battle. She doesn't really seem to understand that one mistake can cost her her life. When you look at this young man, you first notice his boyish face. The soft roundness of it, not to mention the full cheekbones with his rounded and soft cheeks. One's that easily grow rosy at the slightest flirt towards him - or, from embarrassment or anger ; the cheeks seeming to puff up when he's angry. Now he has a rather small button nose ; with a slightly wider nose bridge - one that scrunches up in when disgusted with someone or something, and that wrinkles up confusion, almost like a rabbit - it's quite adorable to see, and he gets teased about it quite often. His lips are full and plump ; almost in a permanent pout, they look rather kissable and one would have to be a fool to not have at least wondered what a kiss from his lips are like. His lips are two-toned ; with the top lip being a rich brown color with a slightly whitish-tan outline and the bottom lip having a slightly lighter brown tone - yet, it being a pinkish-red hue in the middle. He is also known to chew his lips as a nervous gesture or chew the inside of his cheeks ; you'll find he has rather good liking teeth - possibly a slight overbite but overall they're healthy. Everything about his face just screams soft and delicate, not to mention he has such smooth skin with hardly any acne or blemishes. Of course when eating too much sugar or sweets, it gives him cursed acne. Other than that his skin for the most part is unblemished. You can also see an assortment of beauty marks lining his face and other parts of his body ; he has a small collection of beauty marks under his right eye - their being three in a little almost star shape, and then he has two semetrical ones on his cheeks and one in the left corner of his lips. Not to mention, if you were to remove his shirt, one would see a collection around his neck and chest area, and ones along his arms and back, and his thighs and others in rather intimate places. Now if they're were a star to the features of this young boy. It would have to be his eyes. Why? Let's just say his eyes are rather . . . hypnotic, to look at. His eyes are beyond beautiful. They're shaped like round almonds, eyelashes long and curled, perfectly accentuating the green of irises. The rings curled around the black pupils are a brilliant lime, dusted with hues of chartreuse, emerald, and mint, streaked with the shade of moss, tints of shamrock and olive spiraling outward in the shapes of clouds, seaweed, seafoam, and pistachio tones filling what remains, all pigments coalescing to a single color: sage. An effulgent, mystifying, innately bewitching sage. Perhaps it is where his nickname comes from. His eyes only get all the more beguiling under the lens of a camera. In nearly all photos taken of him (not many, as the man is often said to be "camera shy"), his pupils are shining a blazing gold, as if cloaked in tapetum lucidum. He is forever cursed with a red-eye effect, sometimes even his whole eyes aglow in every unnecessary attempt to immortalize his face. The aureate gleam completes a summary of his eyes: they are the very definition of komorebi—the sun filtering through the canopy of a vast forest. This male is of rather average height, or may be considered short in the eyes of others - standing in at 171cm or 5'7 in height. Though he may be vertically challenged in some instances, this doesn't mean he doesn't carry himself with confidence and grace when the time comes for it. This height also gives him an advantage when it comes to his mobility, being able to do a wide variety of aerobatic stunts - from flipping, tumble rolls, aerial cartwheels, handstands, handsprings, to being graceful in air doing aerial silks. And because of him usually weighing in around 120-128 pounds, he's very lightweight and has a lot of agility due to training and practice in it. This lightweight and rather lithe build makes him a rather swift and speedy opponent, as opposed to someone using brute strength. His build, can be described as rather androgynous with a mainly rectangular chest and a lean and toned figure. His shoulders are slightly more narrowed, which gives his collarbone a bit more chance to shine. While he may be male he has slighty wider hips, and a bit of a dipped hips, not to mention the rather noticeable, yet - at the same time subtle curve along his hips. He has what could be described as a spoon/mango curve type body, with his waist being well defined and then having rather thick thighs, both naturally and from being active in bodily training. Personality: When speaking to this young man, you notice his soft voice. His voice is rather mild and low, one that could easily get drowned out in a crowd of loud and rambunctious folk. However, when needed their is commanding tone behind it - one that if he chooses to inspires fear. Now when he speaks, you can note the elegance and refinement in his words. Obvious that was born of a different social class than most, and most find this condescending - especially when paired with his patented icy facial expressions. He is always polite, and never lacking in charm or manners - and sometimes, even when not at fault, he can be apologetic ; sometimes, even, tooapologetic. You will almost never hear a single curse coming from his mouth for the most part ; only when he has absolutelyhad it with you would even such foul words leave him - not to mention he'd much rather curse you out in his head, or express his displeasure through a glare or find a refined way to insult you. He carries himself in high regard - his head held high, and purpose in his walk - and maybe a bit of rather snooty look in his face. As for his mannerisms, you can equate him to a gentleman - always polite and respectful to women ; opening doors for them, extending a hand for them to assist them down some stairs - placing a charming kiss on their hand when being introduced to them. Never belittling them or being rude - now, he would never dare strike a woman, but of course if she struck him them it is only fair he retaliates in some for ; equal rights mean equal fights, right? He takes pride in his appearance, and can be said to take a while to "primp" himself for the day ; and if he isn't well dressed then you know something is wrong. While this young man may appear sociable at times - truth is, he rather gets nervous around large crowds, but of course due to his more stoic nature - he doesn't show this side. The only indication is that he gets a bit jittery around large crowds, and he takes to picking at his nails or scratching his skin as a nervous habit of his - and, his speech becomes more short and blunt with others, which can lead to him being viewed as dismissive or frosty with people. But for the most part he manages to keep this flaw under wraps, after all, no one should be able to pick apart his flaws. It's quite easy to say that he's not an emotional person - just from the way he behaves ; he may recieve terrible news, and have a rather basic reaction. But, no one sees him in private ; him breaking down in tears, his outbursts of anger as he unleashes his anger on his room - no, he will never let anyone see him weak or vulnerable. He will never let anyone see that their words get to him, see him cry over something that seems silly, but damnit, it wasn't to him - he's been burned before and he isn't keen on it happening again. That's why he bears an impassive face, showing weakness is a flaw - it makes you a target. This male is what can be described as a introverted extrovert, or the proper term - an ambivert. Now he has a social battery, and depending on who you are, his "battery" either charges or drains. Some people he finds exhausting and rather tries his best to avoid them - and others bring out his energy and are just refreshing to him. Now, when his battery is consumed - he finds it best to recharge alone, or with a special person. His recharging switches to what he wants ; whether it be a meditative walk through a forest, curling up in his bed with a cup of tea and a good book, or working on a sewing project - he finds time to relax and clear his mind. As most get to know him, they can find he's very intelligent and studious. He spends copious amount of time learning and basking in knowledge - finding time to visit any insitution of education he can whether it be a library or aquarium, if it has knowledge - he's going. He's the type to spout random knowledge facts about something if his companions aren't knowedgable about it. This young man also likes theorizing and researching ; sometimes being up late into the night with his projects or studying up on a matter. Knowledge thrills and excites him, he is constantly wanting to learn more about the world and it can be said it's a thirst that's yet to quench itself. He's curious and inquisitve ; always questioning and asking about new things - but he's also one to enjoy a good theoretical debate about matters. And in this matter, it can be said he has quit the gift of gab or in layman's terms ; a silver tongue. It can be seen as both a skill and weapon ; and he can use it as both, he's good when it comes to negotiations - able to keep a calm and level head, while also being able to use his charm and wit to close a deal or propose a new one to make both parties happy. He's also not dumb, able to see a scam when presented - it takes a lot to be able to pull the wool over his eyes. Knowing how to be careful with his words, and picking and choosing them wisely - carefully crafting them and honing them to perfection and making himself heard. This is a case where his words can be commanding ; leaving little room for opposition or argument. You also find he can be a little bit of a cunning force, able to outwit and wreak havoc on opponents in the game of mental manipulation. Knowing just how to use his words, and his features to his advantage if the need arose. When it comes to anger, this young man is either easily riled up or slow to anger. Sometimes his anger takes times to fester - until it boils over and he just explodes in anger. Most things don't anger him quickly, but to anger him quickly - one would have to be talking about his family in a distasteful manner. He is a protective force when it comes to his family - and he tolerates no slander towards them, the only person who gets to talk bad about is family is him or themself. So if you find yourself shit-talking his family, and he hears about it, you can expect a force of fury to be unleashed upon you. He doesn't care who you are, or what position you hold - you come for his family? You come for him, and you better damn well take a proper shot if you do that. Now, aside from being protective of his family, the other thing that can make him upset is if he finds out you've betrayed him or he's been used. However, for the most part he's rather calm and levelheaded - you insult him? He'll insult you right back with snark and sass, you don't like him? Fine, that doesn't matter because he's very selective on who he befriends anyway. And even then when he's upset - he tries to find outlets to diffuse his anger so it doesn't get out of control. That being him throwing himself into some research, doing some meditation in the forest, or stress cooking or baking. Just anything to take his mind off the anger and losing his cool. In times like this, he views isolation as a savior, after all he doesn't want to lose his cool for no reason or hurt someone he cares about with his anger. He is to not be disturbed at this time, or he'll be unintentionally rude to you. And that's something he doesn't want. Just give him some space and he'll be fine after a while. Once he's cooled down - he will find the person who made him angry and tell them in a calm manner, why he was angry, and if had snapped at them before he cooled down, he would give a sincere apology. Just to be short, it's quite safe to say - you never want to see this male truly angered. Contrary to popular belief, as much of a stone bitch he can be at times - he is a romantic at heart. He finds joy in being given gifts ; from flowers to jewelry, or even trinkets that one would think are insignificant. He also loves spoiling his partner with handmade trinkets along with flowers and other gifts that he gives to show his love and favoritism towards his lover. And when they wear a gift he gave them it just makes his heart swell with joy and pride - he is very attentive to his partner, always listening to them and wanting to make them happy. He also takes care to remember their favorite things and things they like and dislike. It may seem odd for a guy to think, but he wants to be pampered - he wants flowers as much as the next girl does, and he also wants special days and moments with his lover. As cheesy as it sounds, he wants waxing poetry read to him or to be told he's the prettiest man in the world and that they're the only one his lever has eyes for. It can also be said he's rather uncommonly affectionate with them ; finding a way to simply lean against them, intertwine their fingers together, or just give them small pecks on the face. With his lover it can be said he's much more relaxed - you can see the softness of his features with them, and just the look of love and adoration in his eyes. He's also more vulnerable and might even allow his lover to see his less than perfect side. One thing can also be noted - he is a jealous and rather possessive lover, while he of course trusts his partners ; he doesn't trust strangers around them, particularly flirtatious ones. Veeta is someone that Kaia's known since she joined the academy a few years after him. Kenji is someone Sedna can say he's known for quite a while. They knew each other as children and were good friends in their early teens, when Kenji lived near the ocean. Unfortunately, when they were about 14 or so, Kenji moved further inland, and they'd lost contact. Sedna had always managed to get Kenji up to some mischief with him, and they spent days "camping" (whenever Sedna would decide he didn't want to go home for a few days), and Sedna found his humorous, spontaneous, impulsive side with Kenji. He's definitely changed over the years since he last saw Kenji, but he might revert somewhat back to how he was when he meets his old friend again.
