Appearance:

Sage in an odd way looks the way her name insinuates she would. With wavy and full hair that appears more blonde than brunette coming up to just above her shoulder and green-grey eyes, Sage could not have a more fitting name. She stands at just above 5’7", her legs making up the majority of her height. Her long fingers and delicate hands always seem to be adorned with rings or playing with some knickknack or other. Her warm skin is sparingly dotted with orange freckles, mostly centered along the heights of her cheekbones and across her shoulders. Her darker eyebrows make a slight contrast against the other relatively soft features of her face, her lips however are always cracked from near-constant gnawing. Her limbs seem to have a mind of their own, her legs always bouncing and fingers tapping away if they aren’t already preoccupied. Stark black tattoos crawl and weave all the way up her right arm, the lines mimicking the ripples of water.

Sage’s diamond shaped face is most noticeably framed by her wayward hair and deep set eyes that seem to challenge anyone they settle on. Her lashes are hard to notice at first due to their golden hue, but bounce off her woodish eyes when you’re looking directly into them. Sage’s small nose scrunches often, bringing a crinkle to her eyes whenever she’s amused or annoyed or frustrated, or anytime really. Her frame is marked with toned arms and legs and an absence of curves, giving an slightly androgynous impression. Her choice of style is lackluster, but who can blame her in the middle of the apocalypse? She goes for practicality over form, that means having lots and lots of pockets. Her one vice is adorning her hands and fingers, making an excuse that having rings makes punches more damaging. Sage has a slit that cuts across her left eyebrow, and several other small marks and scars scattered mostly around her arms and shoulders. Her voice is low and hoarse for a girl, and she likes to talk with many changes in tone and pace to emphasize her own resonance.

Personality:

While she’s not necessarily defiant all the time, Sage isn’t very complacent either. Her impulsiveness and lack of restraint have gotten her into trouble more times than she can count, but she loves to trust her instincts and, occasionally, things work out in her favor. Sage prefers to act first and ask questions later, which goes hand in hand with her belief of it's better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission. Sage likes to make working in groups productive by constructive-criticism, or so she says. She’s sharp to react and even sharper to respond. Sage loves to tease and get under people’s skin, but she’s able to pull herself together when she’s really needed. Her thoughts are a bit erratic, and often jump from one topic to another without any real rhyme or reason, though it all seems to make sense to her in her mind. She also has a hard time grasping social cues sometimes, which can lead to some particular misunderstandings. Sage always seems an air of chaoticness around her, between her rapid ideas and prompt retorts and audacious confidence in herself. Though she likes to be with others, she rarely finds herself able to let down this wall of self-protection, choosing to act the way she does and always be moving at 100 mph to never really have to be alone with herself or give anyone a chance to ask something about her.
