His stature is an intimidating one. His body is decorated with scars varying in length and size. His most noticeable are two gashes across his nose, more circular than slice shaped, which have exposed his dark skin and no longer allow hair to grow. He also has several cuts and bite marks on his legs, shoulders, and flanks. Izem has a cold stare. Actually, everything about him is cold. His refined posture, the soft thuds of his paws making contact with the ground, even the way his fur moves has a dangerous aura to it. His eyes are a hard amber rimmed with dark fur, making them pop out more prominently. His face is nearly always expressionless, or stony in appearance. A smile has not graced his maw in ages; the closest thing to one has been a cruel twist of his upper lips into something resembling a sick grin or a snarl. When he walks, hard muscle ripples beneath a sleek, bronze pelt. Izem holds himself with a cool regality, head high, tail curled slightly. His long, thick mane is a tapestry of dark browns, golds, and honeys that spreads over his shoulders down to the end of his humerus. Izem is a handsome lion, but he is unapproachable. Formidable. Dangerous. Personality He can be as chilly as his appearance would suggest. Izem has a deep, almost calming rumble of a voice that does not fit his appearance at all, but his tone can quickly grow aloof and clipped in nature. His words are curt and to the point; there is no beating around the bush with this one. If the truth is asked for, the truth shall be made known. This lion holds strength in high regard -- not necessarily physical strength, as he knows full well that it will not always win a fight -- as well as some form of loyalty. Not necessarily loyalty to an individual; rather, the devotion to an idea or the pride as a whole. He is a calculating individual, mind always working. While he does have physical strength as an advantage, he prefers to use his head first and come up with a plan of action for whatever task lies ahead. Izem also has a fairly strong sense of vengeance. He kind of has abandonment issues. Izem is actually, and secretly, quite fond of cubs and, when he is around them, he will often spend his free time playing with them, telling them stories, and practicing hunting or battle moves with them. They were his favorite members of his birth pride with their little bleps of tongues, besides the ladies, of course, for whom he would show his chivalrous side. He would take on the role of a secondary father for any cub who may feel lonely. Those in his band and cubs are the only ones who will ever see a glimpse of kindness in him. For the former, he holds a tone of respect and makes sure that their thoughts are heard thoroughly before he replies. He does not ever mean to disrespect them, though he has no problem quelling disputes with a snide comment or two. That, though, is rare. Izem is his most friendly around the young. He has a strong liking for the other members of the coalition, and he would never think to betray them. Izem may want to be a king, but he remains respectful of his superiors and would not do anything to undermine their authority or make them look bad. He might be caught joking with them occasionally, and even showing some sort of affection, though he always keeps himself looking his most powerful in their presence. Her endurance is high and while her speed isn't the best her power legs still allow her to run long distances. Vitani isn't a small lioness nor a large one. Standing at 4 feet at the shoulder and weighting almost 400 lbs. Her base eye color is a soft gold coloring with swirls and speckled of green and sea green dancing in it, Vitani's pelt is short and silky, mixed of creams, whites, soft tans and golden undertones filling it in. Vitani has a gentler more confrontational appearance acting as a shoulder to lean on and mother figure to some of the lioness 's and cubs. She always carries a soft expression and a slight smile but her eyes hold a deep sadness that no one understands. Personality: Vitani is a very nurturing lioness. She is always making sure others are doing well before herself. A mature one, she is. Vitani doesn't tolerate immaturity. She will call you out on it. Vitani may not look that intimidating but you will find out real soon. She is kind to everyone when she meets them unless they do something to piss her off. She isn't one to hold grudges against others. Her loyalty lies within the new pride. She respects everyone despite their rank. Vitani puts everyone above herself. She sees them more as a priority to her. She would most likely sacrifice herself for the pride. She doesn't see something like that needing to happen, but it stays in the back of her mind. You would never see her betraying them in any way. That's not who she is. . The female has confidence in herself. She is a very independent female who believes she will get things done faster by herself. However, she doesn't mind group work. She does work very well with others but she prefers to do it alone. Vitani is very determined. When she puts her mind to something, she will make sure to get it done before anything. Going along with her independence, She has a hard time asking for help anyway. She can't seem to bring it to herself to ask. Therefore, she performs alone and if she struggles, she just tries harder until she reaches success. words History: Vitani was simply a lioness within the pride, a huntress with a job. Ahnika is not a female of necessarily colossal stature, but her figure is something to take note of when facing her. She stands at about 3 feet and eight inches, with a heftier weight of 371 lbs, which makes her more of a well balanced lioness with her height. She's leaner, as most lionesses are in comparison to males, but compared to other lionesses, there is a heavier muscled tone to the female. Which fits, as she's used to defending and providing for herself and not quite as able to rely on others due to her prideless nature. Still lean enough to have quick burst of speed, but strong enough to bring things down on her own, truly she is a rather well balanced female.
Still being on the younger side, at four years old, Ahnika doesn't have the broadened features of a lioness older than her, but she is still a formidable opponent. What stands out about her, though, is her darker coat with it's more unusual appearance. Rather than being the true golden or tawny color of a lion, Ahnika is more of a red hued beast. She has cream on her under belly, inside of her legs, and throat, with a more true tan spacing between her underbelly and base coat, which is a darker, more red hued tan. It gives her a very dynamic appearance, but it's clear just by looking at her that she's several shades darker and redder than other lionesses. This makes it so she's easy to identify from others, and can be picked out from the crowd with little trouble.
The other thing that is unusual about the lioness is the spotting on her legs and belly. It's reminiscent of cub spotting, just bigger, and makes the female appear slightly younger than she is, sometimes allowing people to underestimate her thinking she's merely a large yearling. She isn't though, she's merely a lioness who's retained the spotting into her adult years, and she doesn't really mind it a whole lot, since it makes her very unique. It's also important to note that the female has no black markings on her in the slightest, not even on her ears. Her nose and paw pads are of the darker variety, and her claws her transparent. Her tail tip is even a dark reddish brown shade, making her unqiue in that way as well.
For her eyes, Ahnika possesses a pair of dark amber eyes with a clear reddish hue, which seems to be the way of this female. Her voice is lower and silky, a soothing sound that could lull anyone into a sense of fall security.

Ahnika is not a lioness easily trifled with, it's actually usually best to avoid the lioness unless you have something to offer her or some way to impress her. She's a bold and independent creature, not one to rely on others or base her decisions off of them. She does what she wants and what's best for her, and she isn't going to change that for anyone. She's a hard working lioness, but because she is commonly alone, she has grown to be incredibly self-reliant, almost to a fault at this point. Even if she were to join a pride, she wouldn't trust or rely on them very easily if at all until later on. Truthfully, they would have to prove themselves to her if they wanted to get anywhere with the female at all.
The lioness isn't a complicated sort in the most complicated way possible. She's easy to understand in the sense of her motivations are always for her own survival and to thrive. Yet, she is difficult at times because she doesn't care about others' opinions of her, and she isn't held down by the rules and expectations of a pride. This makes her unpredictable at times, because while you can always expect her to do what is best for herself, judging what that would be is not always possible. The one thing that is certain though is the female is stubborn to the core, and she isn't going to be easily shaken if she's locked onto something. And if you're trying to impress her? Good luck. You'd have higher chances of impressing a Water Buffalo than her.
Truly, Ahnika has gotten used to being alone, and while she can be charistmatic at times when she is trying, perhaps even a flirt, underneath the act is a female who isn't all the social anymore. She's gotten used to the silence, to the sound of only her own breathing. Being around other lions tends to make the female a tad bit tempermental, typically ending with her being in a rather rotten mood. She's grown accustomed to her solitude, and while it's normal for lions to seek out companionship, Ahnika has found that there's a certain peace in the silence of being alone. However, perhaps thats just her brains way of dealing with the loneliness of it.
The female is someone who is known for being sarcastic and witty, always one to have some form of snarky reply prepared for any situation. Beyond that, though, the female is a bit drawn to power, like any female is, and finds that if she was going to join the group life again, she would want to get the spoils of being of high status within it. She has no interest in just being any other member of the pride, she wants to be noteable, and if she isn't, she will likely move on. Some might call her high maintenance or something, but truthfully, Ahnika just knows her self-worth, her value. She's an experienced lioness, even at the age of four, having been on her own for nearly a year at this point, with only a couple of stints here and there of comapny. She knows things, has dealt with things, that others haven't, and that gives her an edge. She isn't going to waste her knowledge and time on anyone who isn't going to vaue it.
Overall, Ahnika can be a very fierce and determined creature who is known for being on the more aggressive and almost unforgiving side. She isn't necessarily easy to be around, but she's certainly a benefit to have on your side at the end of the day.
History: Like many lionesses, Ahnika was born into a pride. Her's was nothing spectacular or noteworthy, just any old pride. However, Ahnika was not any old lioness. By the time she reached the age of three, the female showed to be a rather restless spirit, unhappy with the mundane and repetitive routine of daily life in the pride. So once she was old enough at the fresh age of about three [maybe a little over], she took off to experience everything she could. It was hard, she struggled at times, but ultimately it has shaped her into what she is now. She's capable and been successful on her own, but as she's aged, she's begun to look for more. She has an insatiable appetite for new experiences, and whatever is next she is excited for.
Recently, though, she's been following [at a safe distance] a coalition of males, drawn in by the power the possess and interested in what they might have to offer.

His weight is not out of laziness, however; his muscling is clear and the leanness of his body makes it obvious that he is very capable of feats of strength. His eyes are a light amber in color, dancing with an internal fire that promises to bring destruction to anything that threatens his plans. Scar's uncanny stare will unnerve even the most stoic of beasts. Scar's pelt has an almost metallic sheen to it. Short, dusty gray fur covers the majority of his body; especially at night, it takes on a silver reflectiveness. His pelt is sleek and helps to enunciate his musculature. His mane is shorter on the top and gradually gets longer as it travels down his neck to his chest and shoulder blades. The fur directly in front and to the sides of his ears is a red-tinted gold color, and this extends down to frame his face and climb down his neck. Nafasi Swahili origin meaning, "To love good times"  Age: 3.5 monthsGender: MalePride or Coalition: New PrideRole: CubPreferred Rank: UnsureAppearance: Nafasi has the coat of your average tawny lion., the golden tan coloration makes up most of his pelt. It lightens slightly on his chest, though a lighter color, more of a cream, is seen on his underbelly, inner legs, and around his claws. Since Nafasi turned two months, his cub spots have begun to disappear, there are still some fainter outlines, particularly around his face and paws, but most are completely gone. The texture of his fur is fluffy and soft, it's also a bit on the longer side for a lion, particularly around his ears and chest. This cub currently has no scars or injuries to him. This cub is considered average for his size. For markings, around the sides of his muzzle, Nafasi has a cream-colored spot, as well as in the corners of his eyes. In addition to this, he has two black lines, triangular shaped, running across the back of both of his ears. This male's eyes are a stunning pair, and similar to the coloration of his coat, they are a pale amber color, that darkens to a light brown surrounding his Iris. This cub's walk is rather smooth, despite his younger age he may walk with his head high, whether it be in a cocky manner, or one showing maturity is for you to decide. When Nafasi is fully grown he will reach an impressive height, while not the maximum a lion can get 4.3 at the shoulder is still tall. His build will become less lean and more muscular, weighing in at around 550 lbs. He will be a force to be reckoned with. Personality: His sister's protector | Innocent | Kind-hearted | Observant | Ambivert | Generally playful | Stubborn | Honest [ brutally at some times ] | Dramatic Nafasi is his sister's self-proclaimed protector. He is quite observant for his age, and while he was unaware that he would have been at death's door if he had stayed in the old pride, Nafasi knew something was up. Particularly in the madness of his father. Acting as his sister's "protector" is not only giving this cub something to do but also keeping him distracted from realizing the rest of his father's future intentions for him. Surely if he had known he was to be killed, Nafasi would not have proclaimed himself to be a protector, and he would have been considerably afraid. This cub is generally innocent and still acts like your average cub. He is playful and social at times and can be stubborn and rambunctious as well. Though there are times when he rather just be in the presence of family, or in a crabby mood, wishing to be alone. Nafasi is kind-hearted, thinking of others and never going out of his way to be particularly rude to anyone. If he does, he has a reason, whether he makes that reason known depends on his mood. He may not explain the reasons for his anger just to annoy the lion he is mad at. Nafasi isn't afraid to say what's on his mind, at this age, he doesn't have much of a filter yet and can have some brutally honest, or sarcastic comments. This cub may be dramatic at times, or if he is feeling up for it, trying to get a laugh out of those around him. History: Nafasi was born and raised under his father's rule, and was one of the lucky few that were brought with the other lionesses during their escape.
