Rank: Member Credits to Wincey (1st) and Tiefenschaerfe (2nd) on DA. Same user, same wolf. Chinook is a very handsome male. He stands at 34 inches and is in the middle of the weight spectrum for his height. His body is well-toned and his strength is evident in the way he moves. However, his appearance is deceptively kind. Intelligent, reddish-brown eyes are set in a well-proportioned face rimmed by soft, thick fur. His dense coat seems to groom itself, always looking sleek and touchable. This male is the opposite of touchable. Underneath his pelt, his skin is riddled with scars, both from hunts and from fights. Most of the latter were his victories. The vast majority. His most notable scar is a once-deep gash across his chest and lower throat, given to him by a wolf he loathed -- and killed. Chinook refuses to speak about this wolf, and few know the story. Chinook's coloring is warmer scale. His base is a terracotta of sorts with honey highlights and cream undertones. Patches of deeper brown and black congregate to frame his eyes, cover his forehead, sweep across his back and tail, and form a triangle at the nape of his neck. His undersides are a darker cream in color with hints of orange to it. The larger spots of fur around his temples and above his eyebrows turn into a black M shape, which extends along his neck and to his shoulders before more color enters the scene again. The bridge of his nose is a golden brown, as are the sides of his cheeks, and this melts into an off-white muzzle and cheekbones. Chinook always has a sort of passive look to him. Calm, relaxed, but ready. His languid movements can tense up at any time, his smooth tone can turn to jagged ice, his relaxed figure can stand tall and sturdy and domineering. This brute is death personified, and oh boy does death look hot. Personality: Chinook is not one to take ranking lightly. He bends to those above him and observes those at his own level with constant, ever-watching eyes. He is loyal to his alpha, his beta, and his pack. Those who prove traitorous get no respect from him. He is a quiet kind of scary; a soft whisper will freeze blood, a bark will break bones, a growled word will instill fear. A look could kill. Chinook holds respect in high regard; if a wolf, or dog, does not have his or another's, he looks down on them. He is not a kind creature; his drive is survival, and Mother Nature is not kind. The weak will die off, and he will be more than happy to help them along. Now, he is not an evil animal. He is altruistic towards his packmates, and he does not play around with things he should not be involved in. He follows the rules, crosses all his "t"s, dots his "i"s. Actually, he can be quite a charismatic individual. However, this is only in the case of others in his immediate close circle -- his pack. Chinook is a fighter; he has the scars to prove it, and he does not intend to succumb to another animal any time soon. He is fueled by adrenaline. It keeps him alert, keeps him on target. He is not one to get antsy by the feeling; rather, it has an eerily calming effect on him that seems to only enhance his prowess. Views on the Mountain Pack Chinook is not an empathetic male by any stretch of the imagination. He sees everything in a gray area, including these wolves. He does not care if they live. Name: Larkspur Age: 3 Gender: Female Pack: Mountain Pack Rank: Member 
Photo credits to landkeks-stock on DA. Stock images Larkspur is lighter in her coloration. Tawny, amber, and honey tones make up her coat with the occasional dark streak making an appearance. Her fur is rather short but thick and soft, providing ample warmth and fewer gobs of hair floating around. Her scruff is thick and gives her a semblance of a short mane along the back of her neck, down to the ends of her shoulders. Her eyes are a piercing yellow, made to stand out even more by the darker "wings" on the corners. They often appear to hold no emotion and can easily be described as unsettling. Her left eye hosts a scar just above it at a slight angle and another continuation on her lower eyelid. It was not a deep enough scratch to cause any sight issues. Her body carries a few other scars scattered about her body with a few deeper ones on her left shoulder from a hunt gone sour. Most of the marks are small enough or have faded enough to become nearly invisible. Larkspur has a lean, well-muscled frame and stands at 30 inches. Everything about her is long and slender, though she is still quite strong. However, she was definitely built with more agility in mind than brute strength and is considerably lighter than many wolves her height. She was blessed with good stamina and speed; her movements are quick and precise, which makes her an excellent hunter and scout. Personality She is a force to be reckoned with. Direct, goal oriented, and ambitious, Larkspur is always up for a challenge. While she is respectful of those around her, it was never a secret that she wanted to climb the ranks. To her, though, it was simply a matter of survival of the fittest. She would not dream of overthrowing a good leader; rather, she would want to succeed them. In her mind, there is no point to breaking apart a well-oiled machine. Larkspur comes across as curt and calculating, but her loyalty to the pack is undoubted. Her plots are made strictly by the rules, her wiles courteous, her moves refined. She is an upstanding member of society, thank you very much. Her playing fair does not make her weak, however, nor does it mean she will hesitate to end a life. After hunting and fighting as an adult member of the pack, death has simply become another reality of life to her. Whether it is a wolf or a doe that has died, it does not matter. Dust to dust, after all. Larkspur is not one to take a job lightly, and she expects all those around her to be equally invested in their role within the pack. Questions of loyalty frustrate her. She is adamant that, if pack members cannot trust each other and work together, they will go extinct. She holds her temper well and will attempt to talk down a conflict before whupping everyone's hinies, and she tries to be as mature and logical as possible. With speedy speed and nice lungs, she is able to keep up with larger prey for several minutes before tiring. She is a team player and works best in a cohesive group with a shared goal, and she has a forceful maternal drive and cares deeply about her packmates, even if she sucks at showing it. Leadership comes naturally. As she is a lighter wolf, she requires the assistance of two or so heavier wolves to bring down large prey -- brute force is not on her side. In the defensive, she has to rely more heavily on her knowledge of her surroundings and agility. Larkspur loves being in control: in control of her life, of a hunt, of decisions. It doesn't matter. She wants a say, and she wants to be respected. Disrespect, disloyalty, and disfunction are the most infuriating things to her. Being talked down to, ignored, or cast aside have relatively strong impacts on how she views a wolf. Flaws She is partially deaf and has a constant ringing in her good ear that renders her incapable of hearing anything far away. Even a loud howl that a regular wolf would hear in the distance may as well not exist to her. Larkspur is allergic to ungulates. While taking down a deer or an elk won't kill her, her throat will swell up wherever the blood, meat, or fur touches it. She can't eat it and has to stick to other prey. My Nomadic Wolf  Name: Anika Meaning: 'Sweet-Faced' Age: 6 Years Gender: Female Pack: Nomadic Pack Rank: Alpha Female Appearance: [Image Credits: Khalliysgraphy on DA. Stock Images.] Anika is, although pretty, not a large wolf. She is not stocky, nor is she too tall. She stands at a neat 29 inches at the shoulder, not one to be considered small but most certainly not the tallest creature to exist in the canid world. Her weight, also, is not something to shy away from, nor is she a lightweight. She weighs a comfortable 100 pounds, even heavier with her pregnancy. Her build is more of a lean one than anything else, muscle running along her figure, but not causing a bulging build like one would find on a heavier creature. She's built as an agile huntress, rather than a brick wall of an opponent. Her fur is a complete onyx colour, a hue so dark that, at times, she is almost like a moving shadow. She has no markings of brown, white, or grey upon her fur, merely being a pure ebony. Her fur is thick along her body, dense and soft, particularly around her throat. Her fur is in long strands, and remains thick, along her shoulders, back and stomach, but is particularly thick around her neck. Anika's eyes are a burning shade of amber, somewhat a mix of amber, topaz and copper-bronze. Her scent is some strong mixture of sweet smelling wildflowers, and it wafts from her in a not unpleasant manner. Her voice is sweet, not too high and not too low, often described by others to give them a warm feeling. Personality: Anika is not an unkind individual. She often gives off a warm aura, caring and gentle. She could be considered a soft individual, someone willing to bend her desires and needs for those she loves. Her voice is often soft, warm, a small smile gracing her maw with its light. To many, their first experience with her would be a smile, kind words, a touch of concern, a helping hand. An affectionate being, she isn't someone to announce her presence with loud sounds and bold words, anger or violence along her body. She's softer than that, quieter than that, kinder than that. But only up to a point. If you push her hard enough, she knows damn well how to push back. She isn't a pushover, and she knows how to stand her ground both verbally and physically. What she lacks in brute strength, her agility and intelligence make up for. If you push her, Anika can and will push back with equal or greater force. She is not a pushover, never has been and never, ever will be. She has never been one to let others walk over her, or make her decisions for her. With Anika, you only get a few chances. You get a few chances to mess up with her, or mess up with her friends, before she cuts you off. If her friends, family or other loved ones decide that you aren't good enough to them to be around, she'll likely make the same call, and cut you off. If the time calls for it, she can become a cold individual. If it is needed, the dame may also become something not unlike vindictive. She can, and sometimes will, go out for revenge, holding a grudge until it's practically. She can, and will, turn aggressive if pushed to a point, and she is known to be violently protective of those she cares for. She knows how to fight, and she's... taken a life or two to defend those she cares for. She is fiercly protective of those she deems as her loved ones, although it is unclear why. Like many other canids, Anika is a rather ambitious being. She sees her goals clearly in front of her, and she strides towards them. Most of her goals are to help those around her, those that she cares for, her packmates, her friends--she does things that may be... unorthodox, or cruel, to reach those goals, but she would never endanger those she loves. She would work her path around them, leaving them unscathed by the burning flames of her ambitions. Views on the Mountain Pack: They are in her way. She wants a place for her pack, and her pups. Why does this pack think that they are better? If she has to kill and slaughter them to make room for her pack, then she'll do that. If they offer her pack a place among them, she will not bow to them. Crush: None Mate: Recently Deceased; Zephyr, a canid with a grey pelt, standing at a massive 35 and a hefty 180 pounds. He dwarfed his mate, and almost always dwarfed those that met him. Zephyr died towards the beginning of Akina's pregnancy, so he's been dead for over two months, or about 70 days. He was one of the nicest wolves she had ever met. He wanted what was best for his family, and he wanted companionship. He was a kind individual, someone who anyone at all could trust, but at the same time remained on neutral ground in almost all confrontations, so long as they did not involve him or those he cherished. If it involved those he loved, he was known to get violent, and use his massive size to his advantage. He was a beast physically, and he knew it, he just hated flaunting it. And, if someone tried to throw their weight around, Zephyr had never been afraid of correcting them. He died after a confrontation with another nomadic group that challenged them for a kill they made. He aided them in winning the battle, but his wounds proved too severe and he died from them. Pups: Pups on the way. She is extremely close to giving birth - as in, days, if that. She's open to four pups. Genders to be decided by the RPers. Argo, her son played by Imperial Sands Tora, her daughter played by Tenebris Umbra Mishka, her daughter played by Misery Kamau, her son played by Me All children by Zephyr. Other: She is fiercely protective of Tavar. She picked him up to join her pack, and she immediately picked up on his condition. She knows of it, and plays along with it. If someone suggests that he is unworthy of being in her pack, she often reacts aggressively. |

Appearance: Clovis is a rather average sized female. Standing at approximately 28 inches tall, the female has a rather feminine build, she is not very stocky. Clovis weighs about 100 pounds which she has never been concerned about. Her fur is not too short and has a shaggy style to it. Her fur also ranges in many diverse colors such as tan, black, grey, brown, and white. Her eyes are a deep amber that looks more distinct based on the lighting. Personality:  Most wolves find that Clovis doesn't have much of a personality simply from the fact that she can't speak. However, that is not the case. Clovis has accepted her flaws and found ways to get messages across other than speaking. Clovis is a determined she wolf. She hates the idea of being frustrated with her flaws so she works around them. Although she is mute, Clovis depicts her communication physically. She typically nods, shakes her head, wags her tail, moves things around, or anything else that can slightly send a message to others. Clovis is also partly deaf in her left ear. She can hear better if others are speaking on the right side of her. That being, she will nod her head towards that side. Clovis does get frustrated sometimes but she understands that she can't help it. She belittles herself because she feels others get frustrated with her as well. Clovis was never the aggressive type.
