History: Kiara lived with her brother until they were seperated when she was 10. She was too young to remember her parents, but occasionally she has dreams of what she believes is her mom. Before she lost her brother, she observed other people and how they behaved. With wisdom beyond her years, she took what she learned to formulate her best stratagy for survival. She's learned to bounce between the city and suburbs to reap the benefits of both while dodging both of their dangers.

Appearance: Blaise has uneven, long black hair and soft brown eyes. He is thin and lanky, especially so in his legs since he unable to use them. His skin is pale and pasty, giving him a dirty, sickly look. The clothes he wears are very ragged and threadbare, probably looking and smelling worse than him.

Personality: Quiet, shy, and skittish. Since he can't run, he hides a lot and often stays in his hiding places for hours without moving. He's wary of letting others get close since he wouldn't be able to fight back but he also knows that he can't go on alone. He is easily startled by loud noises and tends to try to avoid conflict. He loves affection and being close to others after they've won his trust.

History: Blaise lived a rather content childhood despite the state of the world with his parents up till the age of 10, when his parents were killed in a dispute over resources with a violent rogue. For the next two years, Blaise survived on his own by stealing food from others with hit and run type tactics. This worked well for him until he took a hard fall and found himself paralyzed from the waist down about a year ago. Since then it has been much harder for him to gather food and he is growing thinner and thinner. He knows that if something doesn't change soon, he will die alone in this world.

Other: His biggest regret is not running and hiding when his parents told him to. Maybe if he had, maybe if he had gotten out of the way so that they could more effectively, maybe they would still be alive and with him today. His greatest wish is to not die. Not dying would be nice.

She is of average height with a lean muscle build from years spent running and hauling supplies. She has an intimidating but welcoming aura, like that of a mother.

Personality: Optimistic despite the state of the world and hardworking. She's serious when she has to be, fun and nurturing when the work is done. She loves kids but refuses to have any of her own since she can't justify bringing a child into the world as it is now. So she "adopts" all the strays she comes across instead.

History: Not much is known about her past, even to the other members of Haven. She helped found haven when she was a mere 21yrs old and has been here ever since. She dodges questions about her past when they come up and focuses instead on rescuing as many kids as she can from the darkness. She has welcomed her fair share of kids to Haven and has even seen some grow up and leave to start Havens in other cities. It's hard for her to see her children leave, but the struggle and heartache is worth it to her when she gets to see a helpless child survive to adulthood.

Other: Her greatest regret is a mystery, though some have noticed that she drinks heavily and sits alone in the darkness at the same time every year. Her biggest wish is to rescue as many children from suffering as possible and to see all of them to adulthood.
