(credits to Cereal#266281, aka me, for this art) Sinister, yes, that's one way to describe his appearance. The teachers at the academy label him as dangerously beautiful-whatever the Hell that means. Ridoros has an angular, bony skull, which gives an intimidating look. Along his snout are three small horns, one on his nose and two on his forehead. His unique feature is the top part of his head which resembles an upper skull. His upper jaw is robust and covered in plated scales, the color of this a deep set of red. Around his eyes are black goggles, which help his skull-pattern stand out more. The texture of his plated scales is rigged and bumpy. An indication that the upper half of his head is for ramming things, but he can only ram in certain things. Well, that's if you get to touch him. He'll probably rip your hand off if you try. His appearance appears devilish, with so many not used to the Dark Dragon, and he finds it humorous. Ridoros knows he's not a sight for sore eyes and doesn't care about his looks. He finds it beneficial to rattle someone's spine-better yet, crush said spine with his teeth. On his head are two curved horns. Originally-the horns were smoothed and glossy to slide your hand along, but now they're weathered and battered. His right horn is chipped at the tip, missing a bit of his horn and having a stub. The color of his horns is a deep black, close to being darker than black, but due to the weathering, the shade of his horns is a darkened grey. This dragon has been in battles. It's shown clearly by his worn-down scales and scars. Now, between his horns are plated scales that start from there and end at the tip of his tail. Like the scales on the upper part of his jaw, his back scales were battered and chipped. The shade of plated back scales a glossy black but would reflect a reddish color once the light hits it. Directly under his horns are small ears, with small tears and knicks directly on both. The upper jaw isn't the only dark red color he has. If you were to look closer at his ears, you would see the dark red at the back of them. Embarrassing for the poor dragon, Ridoros hates it when people touch his ears and will snap at them when they do it. The male's eyes are too sinister to look at from the front, but when you look at it from the side, it's adorable. From the frontal perspective, it seems that the dragon is frowning at you and staring deep into your soul. Since people don't know if there are any other sub-classes of the Dark Dragons, everyone believes that it's a trait all Dark Dragons have. Calling this feature the Hell Fire Stare, Ridoros finds the name ridiculous and isn't afraid to snarl his displeasure if someone says it around him. From the side, you'll see that his eyes are downturned, and the top half of his eyes is slightly sunken into the side of his face-this gives it the notorious glare. The goggle-like pattern around both eyes also has platted scales, but they're smaller, unlike the ones along his back and upper jaw. Shall we get to his eyes? Ridoros's eyes are a crimson color, yet a unique trait that Dark Class dragons have is the ability to increase and dull the brightness level of their eyes. The reason for this is to hide better in dark areas without giving away their cover and get often mistaken for being dead. Another feature is his pupils, which aren't black, but a lighter shade of red. His iris are naturally rounded but can narrow like other dragons. The outer part of his iris is crimson red, while the inner iris is a lighter hue. It's another reason they call his eyes the Hell Fire Stare-it's unsettling to be glared at by a hangry dragon with invisible pupils looking at you. Ridoros will show his displeasure in many ways, with the brightness level of his eyes being one of them. He's a word of advice: If dim, you'll meet grim. If bright, you're gaining smite. If fair, you get tender-loving care. If you want to approach Ridoros, take a quick look at his eyes to check out his mood-you don't want to walk around with a missing head. Ridoros's height is 16ft, with his weight unstated since he hates physical touch, so it's hard to figure out more about him. The male is lean yet muscular, his four limbs longer, unlike other dragon species. The reason for the extended limbs is so he can run and move swiftly on the ground. His claws are long, the color of them a midnight black. His claws are serrated but small and hard to see, and they're used to climb things without much struggle. His legs are toned-not only does he focus on flying, but running and climbing too. It's natural for Dark Dragons to find dark places and hard for others to get through, so they resort to living inside caves and trenches. If you live in a cave, flying isn't your top priority-you resort to climbing or casual walking to get around. He can swim, but only in calm waters like those deep inside caves or lakes. Swimming in rough waters is something he would struggle in. His scales are smooth and sleek, with a couple of scars from fights or hurting himself when he maneuvers around in caves. His scales are deep black but would reflect a red sheen under lighting. His undersides are a dark grey color too and have smooth scales along his throat down to his tail. Ridoros's inner section of his legs is also a dark grey, but the outer part is the same base color as his body. Now, for his tail. His tail is feline-like, long and thin like a whip-it's used for balance and easier maneuvering when it comes to running or flying. A blade-like structure at the end of his tail, and yes, it can and will cut you if you annoyed him enough. The dragon's bones are slightly dense for quiet flying, running, and limited flexibility. Ridoros is on the lighter side of dragons, but it doesn't mean he's easy to push around. Personality:

Smog Breath
Able to emit noxious gas that is dark in color, Dark Dragons primarily use their ability for defense. It provides cover, the dark plume both physically hiding them as well as causing confusion to anyone trapped within the fog or inhaling it too much (3+ breaths). If too much of the gas is inhaled, it can cause hallucinations and eventual unconsciousness. The gas is fueled by a chemical reaction caused by stored minerals gained from mushrooms. When those stores are empty, they can't create it. The smog can also emit from glands beneath the wings and at the tip of the tail.

Ra'd is a dragon that could easily be of notoriety, his large stance and robust features make him a powerful adversary for anyone. The goliath stands at about 17 feet at the shoulder, with main wings that are about the same length as his body [not including his tail]. Oddly enough, Ra'd is one of the few dragons who has four wings instead of two, though the second pair are significantly smaller than the first, being far more for show than actual use, though they do have their purposes. While his large wings are all purpose, the small ones, as mentioned, are used for show, but also to help the large dragon's maneuverability in the air. They allow him to make sharper turns, and quicker too. The small wings allow him to swiftly tilt back and forth when used appropriately with his front wings. Overall, they're odd to see on the dragon, only being about four feet in length each, perhaps a bit shorter. If they were injured, it wouldn't be enough to ground the large dragon, only decrease his maneuverability when flying.
Ra's build, as mentioned, is quite robust, thickly muscled along his shoulders, hips, and pretty much everywhere else. He isn't bulky, not like Earth dragons are, but the strength within the male is paramount. He is well protected with his scales, most of them being the standard scaling for dragons, however, the male has other additions that aid in his portection. Along his shoulders, and the sides along his spine, are actually scales that function like little razor blades, or teeth. they are thin, and curve backwards, making it so if something tries to bite him and claw him there is going to get as much as they give. If someone slides their hands with the grain of the scales, they're harmless, curved backwards enough that they won't cut. However, if they were to slide the hand forward, against the natural path of the scales, stabby. Super stabby. Again, though, these are just present upon his shoulders, his flanks, and along the sides of his spine where they follow the fin like feature that travels from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail.
This fin has sharp spines about every six inches to a foot that he can lift and flatten, allowing the fin to stand up straight, or lay against his spin when needed. On his face, this fin is incredibly shorter, only about an inch tall, to three inches on his forehead, before building to about six inches in height on his neck, and increasing to a full eight inches on his back, before decreasing in height as it travels down his back to his tail, ending at about an inch again at the tip. He has the same fin like appendages just below where his horns are, framing the cheeks of his face a bit, acting as frills. He also has the same fin on his bottom jaw, about three inches maximum in length at it's longest point. There are three trails of these fins on his bottom jaw and neck, and they're about a foot and a half in length total, ending just past where his jaw connects to his neck. These fins while shorter, are stiffer and do not collapse like the fin on his back. The frills on the side of his face he can move too, often using them to help display his emotions.
On his cheeks, as is fins are connected behind them, are spikes that help accentuate his features, flaring out slightly to give him that draconic look. The spikes are relatively dull, more meant for helping to protect his throat from the side from attacks that actually piercing. Atop his head, beside the start of the cheek frills, their base right behind his eyes, are his horns. They're elegant and sculpted things, reaching up about two feet into the air, before curving inwards, and then angling slightly inwards at the tip. They're smooth in texture, and have an almost opaque look to them, as if they should be hiding light behind them.
Ra'd has relatively long legs that are well muscled, capable of carrying his powerful mass with ease, and lazy grace. He moves with confidence and fluidity despite his size, making him something the marvel at when he moves. He doesn't strut. He walks. His feet are the normal clawed almost paw-like hands, with his forefeet being more versatile and hand like, whereas his back feet are much more paw-like, but reptillian. His tail is pretty normal for a dragon, ending in a normal narrow point, with the fin on it being no taller than an intch. It's incredibly powerful, well muscled and prehensile basicaly. The tail is quite thick at the base, before narrowing down quickly. His tail is about three quaters of the length of his body, and is a valuable tool to him.
Ra's base color is very fitting to the male's nature, something about him just seemingly resembling a storm. His base color is a dark blue, a color that is just a few shades away from black. It looks more like a dull greyish blue in the light, but at night he appears more black. But, he is two toned, with a slightly lighter shade, though not by much, is a shade of grey. It coats his belly, the inside of his legs, underside of his tail, and up his neck before taking over his face. The dark blue only taking over again on the spine of his frills, and coloring his horn, though the latter turns to a light grey color near the ends. The fan portion of all his fins are the grey shade, but a smidge darker. His claws are and spikes all mutch the scale color of where they attach, so the claws on his feet are the dark blue, but the ones on his face are grey. His teeth are white, or, well, as white as they can be, with his tongue and gums being a more grey color. His eyes are a bright cyan color that matches the color his lightning.
One thing to keep in mind with Ra'd is that as he is charging up an attack, his mouth and horns begin to glow the cyan color. The charge of his attack can be seen with where the glow is on his horns. If they glow entirely, from tip to base, then it's a full strength attack. However, if it's just the first couple of inches of the tip of his horns, it's a much weaker attack, basically his weakest one that isn't going to cause any damage at all. His vocals are a deep, confident baritone that is clear and easily understandable when he speaks. His scent is overwhelmingly like that of a storm.

Ra'd is not a dragon who is necessarily difficult to get along with or be around, but he isn't exactly the easiest either. He is a superbly confident male, one who never doubts his abilities, and always believes he can handle whatever is thrown at him. He doesn't like when others think he needs help and step in to do so, he finds it insulting, belittling really, and it's a quick way to earn yourself a seat in his disapproval list. This causes Ra to come off as a bit, a bit?, arrogant towards others, but not necessarily in a way that causes him to look down on others. He's just a bit full of himself. Can he be a bit of a bully? Yes, absolutely. But rarely is he malicious just to be so. For him to really be aggressive with malicious intent you really have had to do something to piss the male off.
The Storm Dragon enjoys his space, the company of himself he finds is superior over the company of most others. This causes him to be a bit aloof towards others, not going out of his way to be their best friend or anything. Still, there is something charismatic about the male when he does put on the charm, when he is feeling social. It just isn't a mood he is in often. Though, he is a bit of a show off, and he likes the attention of the ladies. He's kind of conflicted in that sense. He's used to being alone, living alone, and only having himself to rely on, but he also enjoys when the attention of those he wants is on him. He likes to show off and to be wanted, to impress those around him even if nothing really ever comes of it.
Still, there is a serious side to the male, one that's often seen when he's focused on a task. It's hard to shake him once he's locked on something. It's times like this that that abrasive and cold aloofness tends to come out, typically when he's annoyed by someone getting in his way or preventing him from something. Ra'd is also a rather territorial male, and he doesn't take kindly to anything of his being trampled upon by another, especially other males. Nothing gets him fed up faster than a male treading around what he believes and sees as his. It'll turn him into an aggressive and protective monster. He is one who is quite possessive, and will quickly make his unhappiness about something known if another gets too close to something, or someone, that is his. Just don't touch his stuff.
While Ra'd is a bit of a short tempered male, one who isn't easily intimidated and doesn't like to be challenged, he can also be quite, quite lazy. It takes a lot to get a rise out of him if he doesn't really care about something. And he certainly isn't going to do anything if he doesn't deem there to be reason enough to. Inciting him to violence seems easier than it is, because he actually has to care enough about what youre doing to even bother, otherwise he's just going to look at you with disdain and roll back over.

Lightning Breath The Storm Class of Dragon is feared for it's lightning breath, though it isn't as dangerous as it appears. They have the ability to charge and then unleash blasts, or bolts, of lightning from their jaws at their targets of varying degrees. The strength of the attack can be from anything of a little static shock like thing where it's a bit of a discomfort, but harmless, to the same strength of lightning from a storm. It's hurt, fry things that are too small, and can be fatal if the targets heart cannot handle the attack. It also will have a momentarily stunning affect when strong enough, but it only lasts about 10-15 seconds at maximum effect on average to smaller sized targets, larger targets only about 5-10 seconds. Some dragons don't use their jaws, but instead use their horns to conduct their attacks.
Storm Dragons can only produce about 3 fully charged attacks before being depleted of strength. Can they be devastating, but once they're out, they're out. They charge through the energy storms create, and quicker if struck by lightning [they're a natural magnet to it].

This does mean they can give you the worst Nightmare they can think of, or the sweetest purest dreams. It also means they can take them too. Dream dragons cannot physically hurt others with their Dreams, but they can make them so vivid it causes them to lash out in reality, inadvertently hurting themselves. If they push hard enough, they can get people to act out in their sleep or sleep walk, which, if they're having nightmares, might cause them to attack others.
Most Dream Dragons who are Old Enough to Learn How can also Project Themselves into the Dreams of other, controlled by her or not. They cannot cause harm to anyone while inside another's dream, more so they're just there to spend time or comminucate with you for some reason. Typically Dream Dragons have to be within the vacinity of whoever's dream they're jumping into.
Dream Dragons Must sleep in order to recharge after using their abilities, until they've slept enough to recharge, they are dreamless. Rowan's family is distantly related to the royal family, but they hold no importance in political matters. Oddly enough, they would still attend to figure out the current situation of the kingdom. The cause for the minor social status is due to the fact the Davidson family never became dragon riders. Now, it's changed when a dragon finally picked Rowan. Yes, they threw huge parties despite the small wealth. Rowan is proud of what he accomplished and is also overwhelmed by the attention he's receiving. He doesn't mean to be opposing, but people seem threatened by his height. In other people's eyes, being tall is an attractive feature. Although, Rowan hates people's attention on him. Whether it's good or bad, he hates it. The man's body is meso-ectomorph, with his shoulders wider than his hips and sides. His sides concaved, close to being the same width as his hips. Rowan has a broad chest, with the top half having an extended width, and the further you look down, his sides would start to get smaller. Does he have muscles? Well, of course. However, not exposed as much, but still visible to the human eye. If you were to run your hand across his bare skin, you would notice the smooth texture and curves of the toned muscles. Even though Rowan's skin feels flawless, scars dot his body-mostly caused by bladed weapons. Upon further inspection, you'll see smaller beauty marks-some require a magnifying glass to spot them. Indeed, Rowan has the perfect body build of a soldier, and he knows it. His body training was for lasting longer and taking heavy blows, with a small percentage for quick movements. His hands are calloused, with his knuckles scarred from hand-to-hand combat. Rowan looks like an average soldier, but if the soldier went off to war only to return home with fresh scars. Rowan's physique is the perfect mixture of feminine and masculine, not too curvy and not too bulky. Other than that, Rowan appears normal but seems extremely tired of everything and everyone. Rowan's face is that of a diamond-a sharp jawline, sunken cheeks, and lowered eyebrows. Rowan's face is that of a determined and zealous gentleman-his eye filled with determination yet exhaustion. On his jawline on the right is a noticeable scar. The origin of how he got it is it kept hushed-he will open up about it when he grows close to someone. The man's eyes are on the rounded-downturned scale, with the color of his iris of the Sun, which is the unique trait of the Davidson household. However, t's quite dull and non-entertaining. Around his other eye is a black eyepatch, and he rarely takes it off unless needed or he's resting. He has baggy eyelids around both eyes due to him staying up late a lot as a child that never faded away. Indeed, he's the King of Resting Bitch Face, and he's got a sharp mouth to match it. Rowan's ears perfectly rounded and nicked on both ears, but he doesn't seem to mind them. His ears pierced with both being black in color and shaped of a cross. Yes, he needs the Gods and Goddesses help to deal with the idiocy of this world. Better yet, to keep his small mentality strong enough to deal with bullshit. The top of his lip is smaller unlike the other one, with a small on the right corner of his lips. He would nonchantly say that an ugly witch kissed him and caused his lip to fall off-the ugly witch behind his ex-fiancee. It's his way of joking, even though it's awkward and disturbing to hear. His eyebrows are well-trimmed, and his aroma always smells flowery. An indication that he keeps up with his appearances as he doesn't want to turn people into stone by mistake. At least his parents done him well with his name. His hair used to be kept long, with the length of his hair reaching down to his waist. Tired of the maids touching his hair, he chose to cut it himself. Ah yes, a child weilding a pair of scissors-what could go wrong with such a fine weapon? Well, he butchered his hair and creating uneven cuts. Yes, his mother and father were pissed. Not because of the haircut, but on how he gained access to scissors. Especially that one incident where he threatened to stab someone with them. You threatened to murder someone once, and suddenly you're allowed not to hold anything sharp forever. Life is unfair, but hey, Rowan expected this to happen. To keep his hair from looking like a mess when he's out. Rowan will brush his hair back and put it in a tight ponytail, but would leave some of the front part free and dangle on the side of his head. Swordplay: Every noble has to learn combat skills-so Rowan picked swordplay. He can use two-handed weapons, but his most preferred swords are one-handed. One-handed weapons are easy and faster than bulky two-handed weapons. Diplomat: Rowan attended court and picked up some of its habits. Indeed, their tongue is made of silver (not really) and can sway someone over time. Whatever tactics it may be (peaceful, threatening, etc.), Rowan has a way of convincing someone with words alone. Equanimity: Rowan is calm and even-tempered even in the face of battle. Yes, he endured worse as a kid. As such, he taught himself to remain calm in bad situations. His will would never falter and won't cower away unless needed. Detail-Orientated: Nothing can escape his eye, as he can detect the slightest changes, no matter how big or small. He can tell if someone's handwriting got plagiarized without struggle. While using his little gift, Rowan would go oddly silent, but his eye would be active. Weaknesses:
Atychiphobia: Rowan fears failing someone or something, which makes him determined to accomplish something without worrying about his health. When the job fails or remains incomplete-Rowan would have panic attacks or a nervous breakdown. It would take a bit for Rowan to return to normal.
Possessive/Loves Hard: Rowan has terrible attachment issues, and once he loves, he loves hard. He grows attached to someone and would do anything to keep them by his side. Rowan would depend on them once his heart opened. Rowan will be stressed if he hasn't seen them for some time. Withdrawn: He would've been the perfect candidate to become the next head of the Davidson family. Sadly, he keeps to himself and would rarely communicate with other people. It's not that he hates people and would have casual interactions with them. He hates the attention it gives him and stresses him out. Self-Destructive: The name says it, and yes, Rowan doubts their capability or himself in general. He did as a kid due to his mother, but he doesn't blame her-he blames himself.
