As humans destroyed and ravaged the land and prey became more scarce, so did wolves. They fell to starvation and, too weakened to fight back, were killed by other predators who were also fighting for survival. Wolves went from being at the top of the food chain to little more than a nuisance, and most packs couldn’t handle the reality of it, causing them to meet their demise. All except for one, small pack deemed “the Valley Pack.” They watched as their world around them fell apart; and most of their pack was wiped out from disease, starvation, or wars over territory, which never seemed to end, much like their suffering.

The alpha of the time knew what he had to do, and decided to leave the place in which he was born to ensure a better, safer life for his pack. Otherwise, he knew that they’d all end up like the rest, who were all so desperate to survive. Despite the protest from his packmates, the alpha of the Valley Pack made a journey through the rough, treacherous terrain to escape death’s grasp, eventually coming to a large yet secluded forest teeming with prey and life. There were no humans around, and he succeeded in saving his remaining packmates from the fate that many others had suffered; death. Or, that’s what he thought. But he and his heirs were not so fortunate.

The alpha had unknowingly caught a deadly disease which had spread to his mate and pups. Slowly, one by one, they succumbed to their sickness. All except for one. The youngest of the alpha’s heirs survived, and she took her father’s place from him when he died. Little did anybody know that her leadership over the Valley Pack would lead them to ruin.

Unlike the leader before her, the new alpha was an aggressive, battle-thirsty female who loved nothing more than to cause war and bloodshed. Nobody dared challenge her because of the immense power that she held, and while some admired her vicious nature, others found it disgusting. Most saw this coming, as the alpha was forced into her role at a young, inexperienced age of three. But, it still surprised them that she was the tyrant that she was. This sparked an uprising from within the Valley Pack, now renamed Tyrannis, and conflict began between the rebels and those that followed the new alpha, happy to live and abide by her oppression.

Moreover, the new alpha of Tyrannis has started a fight with the pack that lived in the forest before them, the Forest Pack. This pack has never had to fight or battle other packs, and has lived a peaceful life for the most part, so they’re not suited to fight. They’re also much larger in numbers, since Tyrannis is still in recovery. But that doesn’t matter to the new alpha, she’s determined to make hell for them, and so are her followers. Now, even pups must know how to fight if they want to survive.

But the true question is, which side are you on? Are you loyal to the new alpha, or do you want her dead?

Roles Explained

Alphas

The alphas are the leaders of the pack, and both the alpha male and the alpha female hold the same amount of power. These two aren't always mates, although, in some cases they may be. The alphas are responsible for leading their pack as well as instructing other high ranks such as the betas and deltas on what to do. The alphas also decide on important decisions or what to do during a crisis, and the two always must carefully decide and look over things together unless there is an emergency. Tyrannis only has one alpha, as the new alpha female doesn’t have a mate yet.

Betas

The betas are the second of commands in the pack only under the alphas themselves. The betas aren't always mates, but they can be, just like the alphas. They organize patrols, hunting groups, and help the alphas in decision-making. What they say is law unless opposed by one or both of the alphas, and the betas also take on the duties that regulars do, such as hunting and fighting. There is only one beta in Tyrannis, who is most likely the new alpha’s closest friend.

Deltas

Just like with the alphas and betas, deltas aren't always mates but it is possible that they can be. The deltas are the third-in-commands of the pack, and take care of things if and when both the alphas and betas are unable to. They also help the betas with some of their duties, but they are not as high-ranking as them. Otherwise, they take on the responsibilities of regulars such as hunting and fighting. There is only one delta in Tyrannis.

Regulars

The regulars of the pack are what make up a majority of it, and they may or may not have a mate. Regulars sit below the deltas in terms of pack hierarchy, and they take on the duties such as hunting, fighting, and patrolling.

Mothers

These are female wolves who have or are going to have a pup. They may take on the responsibilities of their previous role when their pups are old enough to eat meat, however, otherwise they are to take on duties around the camp or to watch over their pups.

Pups

Pups are the youngest, smallest members of the pack and are not permitted to leave the camp unless in the case of emergency. They are looked after by their mothers and the pack's regulars, and may take on minor duties or learn how to until they're old enough to hunt, fight, and patrol.

Omega(s)

Usually the smallest, weakest adult of the pack or one who has done something against the pack. They are below all other ranks, and must obey all those above them. They are also treated the worst and take on the responsibilities that nobody else wants such as cleaning out the dens. They may have a mate if they'd like, and they also may fight to raise their rank. There can be multiple.

Loners

Wolves that are not in a pack, but may join one at some point. They may have left their pack or been alone from the start.

One might assume just from his more condescending glances or haughty tone that he's an airhead who's full of himself. Those are quite common and ordinary. While he's not necessarily arrogant, he does have a certain look at me attitude, even if it's just their vaguely. He does care a lot about himself, and it can be seen as selfish or vain, but he isn't on that level of self indulgent. He just wants to put himself first for the first time in his life, he finds it easier to do this then let himself be taken advantage of again or lower his guard. While he may lazily amble about at times and just seem to be harmless looking over others, he's actually gathering information . Surprisingly he's quite intelligent, both mentally and emotionally. He knows how to play his cards right, and how to monopolize off a situation. If one could hear his mind they would find it is always thinking non-stop: assessing threats, finding allies, figuring out how to make things better or worse for someone. His thoughts show his cunning and wits if his words and mannerisms didn't, and sometimes just for fun he likes to act as if he's dim witted just to catch others off guard. After all , it's no fun if everyone is cautious around you because they know what you can do.

This young male always seems stern and serious, always with a impassive face or a scowl of displeasure. He may even appear soulless and full of himself, but he let others think that. To find him you must agin truly understand him. Those who he allows to get close to him are few. He wants and desires true friends but many won't take the time out to get him. However, once they get through his many layers and masks they can see many things buried at his core locked away. He's an asshole and acts as if he doesn't care for anyone because he actually does care. He inwardly worries about others daily, though he won't admit it out loud. He's sarcastic and uses dark humor instead of his light humor because he feels others won't take him seriously or think of him as another goofball. He's critical and analyzes others , not because he wants to prove he's superior but because he's naturally observant . Also, he finds himself opening up to the wrong folks and he wants to guard his owl heart. His true friends will know that all he wants is to talk and be mischievous with them. If if finds a small group of friends, you can bet your ass he's going to be loyal to them. They are his ride or does and partners for life. He would never betray them, and you better damn well know he'd kick someone's ass about and for them. If you mess with him, that's fine he'll just tell you off but don't ever mess with friends or family because that's one way to surely set of his bad side. His siblings are precious to him no matter how much he may bully or annoy the , only he can do that. They are his idiots, retards , dummies or any other derogatory name he may call them, only he can do that. If he ever had a little sister tell him some boy was being mean to her he doesn't care how big or little that's are he's kicking someone's ass. Family and friends are important to him and they are his lifeline . He may be ass but he's an ass with a sense of honor in his veins.
