Standing at almost four feet to the shoulder, she sports a muscular but agile body type; while she is not built all-agility or all-strength, she has a nice skillset in both. Her endurance is high and, while her speed is not the most remarkable, she is in prime condition to run long distances. Her muscles are well-defined and wiry, certainly enhancing the more intimidating appearance she has. Aina has graceful, feminine features over all. Large, pale dusty blue eyes are framed by thick eyelashes, dark skin, and sleek white fur. Her nose is a mottled mixture of pink and black with the former color congregating around the center groove. Her tongue is a pink blep. Long, shining teeth are visible with the mischievous grin she occasionally sports. Aima's coat is white, but she has darker cream and gray shading around her face, ears, shoulders, and rump. Her fur is short, soft, and sleek, keeping her warm but also effectively shedding heat. She has a fair number of scars, though none are overly noticeable, that she has gained through mainly hunting endeavors; a few were gained from lions and lionesses as well. Aina's voice is low and almost sultry, though it carries a hardened tone of a more dominant animal. She speaks eloquently and carries herself in a more regal manner befitting a lioness of a higher station; however, there is nothing pompous about her walk or mannerisms. She is not an arrogant creature, nor does she try to impose her ways on others. Aina leads in a more natural way, focusing first on herself and her own actions. Personality If loyalty and protectiveness were personified, they would be Aina. She is a quiet, reserved lioness -- until her family and her pride is threatened. Aina's strength is both physical and mental, and she will unleash all of the underworld on the unfortunate soul who dared attempt harm her family in any way. She can have quite the harsh mouth when she feels like it, and sharp claws don't hurt either. Aina's forte is mental destruction. This female can locate a weakness and stab at buttons like no other. She whips up lies more easily than anything, and she's good at weaving stories. Of course, in her current circumstances, this gift has been used mainly for the entertainment of her younger pridemates, but there has been a time or two when she has waged psychological war on another lion or lioness. That time is coming once more. She is quite mature. While Aina is aloof and certainly not the most outgoing creature, she can hide it when she needs to and will grin and bear it. She is adventurous, but her idiotic actions died within her first year or so of life. Now, she is much more rational in her decisions and plans before doing. She measures threats and formulates actions accordingly; there is nothing sudden or sporadic about this lioness. She enjoys hunting, though playing with cubs is her favorite pastime. She keeps an eye on expectant or new mothers to make sure everything goes smoothly, as she has seen the drastic effects that can occur when there is a hiccup in the birthing process. In such situations -- in any stressful time, actually -- Aina maintains a level head and her composure, allowing her to think rationally and find a quick, effective solution to the problem. She is not below asking for help, though that is usually a last resort. She is an intelligent, guarded creature, keeping nearly all of her emotions and unneccessary thoughts to herself. She can hide the aforementioned treasures quite well and can easily throw up false ones when needed. Aina hates showing weakness herself and is always striving to be "the greatest" in all that she does. It's not really a competition between her and the other lionesses; in her mind, the only opponent she needs to gain the upper hand on is herself. If someone is better suited for a job, then let them take it. Aina is not easily offended -- at least, not by personal attacks. Then, there is the flip side to her. When threatened, or when her family is threatened, this light lioness takes on a very dark personality. She is not afraid to shed blood, and she can be downright terrifying with both her words and actions when placed in a hard spot. Aina is physically capable and, while she may not be able to take down a challenging lion, she will give them the beating of their life. She can become very revenge-driven and almost bloodthirsty. Rebellion Rank: None Loyal To: Gazini and ______ Loyalty Level: 10 Appearance Neith is by no means a small creature. Weighing about 370, and standing 41 inches at the shoulder, she is far from petite. Her frame, while boasting feminine features and the typical long build, is muscular and marked with several scars, both from battle and from hunts. She has a few nicks on both ears, though her most notable scars are four long rakes down her flank from a fight with another lion. She has made it quite clear that she can hold her own. She has a lovely, somewhat unusual coat. While her coloring is the dusty, sandy color of many lions, she has maintained some of her spots and stripes from her cub years. These markings are found predominantly on her legs, though there are some visible on her face and along her back, though the latter are quite faint. It is unlikely that these marks will ever fully disappear, though they may blend in better during some months. Her muzzle, chin, throat, cheeks, chest, and the inside of her legs all start out a light, creamy white before transitioning quite well into her main body. Her belly is not as light, with the very middle having very little white to it at all, but both the front and back gradient into her darker sandy-brown as well. Neith's nose, while predominantly black, has mottled pink congregating around the center. This matches her paw pads, each of which is a marbled mixture of both colors. Her long, sharp teeth are quite white and in good shape, supporting her in hunts and battles. Her gaze is a steely gold one, and the way her eyes always seem narrowed makes it all the more icy. Neith has a strong, moderately low voice, and she rarely raises it -- she rarely needs to. Her strides are long and quiet, sometimes seemingly slow motion. She carries herself with the regal walk befitting of the land's greatest Queen, the perfect picture of authority and poise. Of course, she is not yet the ruler she longs to be, but that will happen eventually. Personality Neith is a tactician. Every move she makes has a reason behind it; nothing is ever a spur of the moment decision or done without thought. She is not kind, and she does not pretend to be, but she is not so cruel or evil to be widely considered a sinister or malicious lioness. She is drawn to power and is extremely ambitious. Neith is a strict leader, when she gets the chance (and, oh, how she does seize those chances). There is little room for mistakes and absolutely none for bad behavior, especially when the wellbeing of the pride is at stake. She is collected and composed; however, she does not attempt to hide her emotions all the time as some others will. This lioness goes straight to the point in all she does. This is not to say she is completely honest, but it is rare for her to really try to hide anything. Neith is logical and focused. Her composure and self-assuredness can make her as dangerous in a game of minds as she is in a physical battle. Even when she becomes irritable, she remains in control. Despite how she comes across as harsh and formidable, which she certainly is, she is fair and will not do anything she cannot find just cause in. She is well aware that a tyrant will rarely gain loyalty, and Neith is not one to seize rule by fear. That's how kindgoms fall, after all. Neith is very much a "warrior princess" -- lacking in neither brawn nor brain. She is confident but not to the point of arrogance; she knows her limits and works within them. Neith also has a habit of assessing the strengths and weaknesses of others around her. It's not quite judging, but at the same time, it can be. She is good at riling others up and finds joy in battle. However, this lioness is too smart to actively seek out such things. Again, that could mess up... plans. Non stock {Credits here: click, these are stock images} Nkechi holds herself in such a regal stance all the time, you'd think she was queen. Her warm toned coat has speckles of reddish brown that dances along her spine and hind legs, resting at the base of her shoulder blades. Her chest and stomach are a light, peachy cream with swirls of grey mixed in. - Her eyes are round and large, giving her a softer look when she relaxes. The inside of her eyes are a dusty blue-green, with some specks of brown interwoven. When she holds her head high, her eyes seem to sparkle with pure power, which empowers confidence in her fellow rebels. She is actually a bit small for her age, but what she lacks in strength, she makes up for in speed. She rises to around 4'5, and is as long as 5'. She weighs around 200-210 pounds. She is fast and agile, usually in the front of a hunt "separating" the prey so it is easier for the huntresses to lock in on one prey. - However, her lighty muscled frame is not built for endurance, so she can only sprint reaching high speeds for short bursts of time. Her tail is a bit longer than average, giving her more advantage over others in rocky terrain. She specializes in smaller prey, such as antelope and small zebra. She does prefer to hunt in smaller group of 3-4. - She has a few scars, most from playful fights and some from lone males. The largest is a 6 inch curve on her right hind leg from when she fought some hyenas over food. She has a 4 inch scar from the base to the tip of her left ear from a bite the was a bit too powerful from a sibling. A small 2 inch scar on her back marks her first miscalculation during a hunt. Personality Calm, collected, almost icy cold is what Nkechi radiates. She never lets her outward emotion show with others, and she seems to follow your every move. When she sees competition, she never lets a glimmer of fear show. She's never looking for a fight, too much attention is dangerous for a lioness like her. - She really doesn't talk, and when she does, you'll lean to it, her words like honey to your ears. She has a knack for keeping tensions low and getting everyone to work together. She's mostly a quiet, laid back lion. She keeps her trust circle small, and only talks to a few others.
- Her loyalty level is 9/10, because she's doing all of this for the best interest of the pack. She has a strong moral compass, and protects those who cannot protect themselves. However, if you caught her at the right time, and said the right things, you could potentially start to sway her. She's an overthinker, and can have high anxiety at times. All lot goes on in that head of hers that she doesn't let others know of. - She doesn't judge others, she puts them in category's and determines how likely they will be to sway loyalty, expose corruption, or be competition. She is an excellent judge of character and is very rarely wrong. Her tail flicked back and forth as she finished her drink. She padded away, her ears rotating as the zerbras regained their spot. The watering hole was sacred, protected by the elephants. Prey and predators alike could go there for safety- it was strictly forbidden to hunt at the hole. Nkechi padded away further into the tall grass that edged the watering hole. Her warm brown ears flicked forward at the smallest sounds. She was on a lone hunt, just to get some food for the queen. She was determined to get the new queen the best food- not because she liked her. regime, but she needed to look like a loyal lioness, for now at least.
Her thoughts lead her around the savanna for awhile until the sweet scent of gazelle brought her out of her trance. She lowered her frame, keeping her tail as still as possible. She was downwind from the gazelle- a young male. He was on the edge of a small herd of a dozen. Nkechi's maw opened slightly, the lioness slowly prowling after the gazelle, staying low in the tall grass. She didn't look directly at the prey, as animals seemed to "feel" it when they where being hunted. She looked down, sneaking glances at the gazelle as she padded ever so closer. She was around 10 tail lengths away from the gazelle, when it froze. She froze, looking at the gazelle, her heart racing. Suddenly it raced away, the rest of the herd following suit. She heart pounded as she raced after it, her legs pumping as she slowly gained. Her tail whipped back and forth as she raced after the prey. She was close enough to pounce, but her sprint energy was slowly slipping away. Nkechi pushed herself hard as she pounced suddenly on the gazelle, grabbing it firmly on a leg. She rolled and tumbled with the gazelle on the dry grass as she fought for a stronger hold. She held on the leg for a minute or so and her paws grouped to hold the gazelle down. She saw an opening and quickly changed her bite, to securely fasten around the prey's airway. She held for around 3-4 minutes as the gazelles struggles got weaker. It's final struggle faded, and all that was left was its glassy orbs staring into space. Nkechi slowly released her grip, licking the warm blood on her maw. She grabbed the gazelle by the leg and started home. |
