Basil wasn't born in a sector, unlike the many people working in the castle. Instead, he was brought into the city when he grew older to work as a servant to the royal family. With his unknown origins, many inquire about his intentions as rumors spread that he could be a spy for the traitor lurking about. However, those that know Basil long enough could tell the kingdom that he's too susceptible to pull off such a crime.

Reputation:
Basil's reputation within the kingdom is deemed honorable and laughable at the same time. Their gardening talents spread far throughout the empire, which led others to seek his aid when their crops failed to grow, or there was an issue with their plants. They're respected amongst the common folk, with many saying his name joyfully when they walk down the street. To the knights, their relationship with them is businesslike, with Basil providing them aid and them helping them carry heavy stuff around the kingdom. To the nobles, they're looked down upon and mocked by those that see his work as pointless, but they're a few they have good tidings with.

Appearance:
Basil's height is a bit below average, which is 5'6. The shape of their body is an hourglass-slim yet curvy. They have a few muscles on their body, which is strange considering they have to carry heavy things around in the garden. Their skin has been tanned over time in the gardens-with their skin soft to the touch. Basil's body is free of scars-the only scar is on their face. As for their hands, it's slightly roughened and not badly calloused as they take care of them on a daily. Yes, they look feminine, and it does draw attention, but they're quick to fix it. Beauty marks dot their body, the color of them a dark brown, but they're kinda hard to see due to their tanned skin.

Their face is heart-shaped, with half of their face covered by their extended bangs. They have a beauty mark on their right cheekbone, another on the chin, and a slightly bigger one on their neck. Basil's hair is golden, not real gold, but a deep set of blonde. The length of their hair is medium and goes 6 inches past their shoulders. Their bangs are longer and keep said bangs hovering on the left side of their face, they tie it in a ponytail to keep it out of the way while they work. Now, for their eyes. Basil's eyes are rounded, with the color of their right eye an amber color. When the light hits their only amber eye, it'll take the color of honey. Lurking deep in their eye is an endless amount of joy. When you don't see it, then something is wrong.

Physical
(1). They're blind in his left eye, so he keeps their bangs on the left side of their face to cover it. There's a scar of a slice wound over the left eye, yet Basil doesn't seem too bothered by it. When the hair is tied up, they'll wear a cloth over their left eye.

The tone of voice can switch when it comes to certain people. They're loving and caring to those they cherish. Their voice would always hold warmth for their friends and loved ones. With strangers, Basil is shy and won't be the one to start a conversation. Once they know someone better, they'll be more open to talking with them. Their voice is a slightly higher pitch than the average man's and sounds like an angel: softspoken and full of an endless amount of love. People think it sounds like a mixture between a man and a woman when they speak.

Strengths:
(1). Working in his garden increased their knowledge of herbology. They also dabble with poisons, but it's to keep the pests out of the gardens. Basil never uses poison to kill people unless a situation requires it.

(2). They can tell what emotion someone is hiding in their eyes by a single glance or a gesture with their body. They can detect if one is fake smiling or is feeling sad about something.

(3). Basil can tell what plant is on by fragrance, but that doesn't mean they're accurate with it. Smell alone-Basil can tell if food or drink has been tampered with.

(4). A calming presence that can soothe anyone's nerves, even through stressful times. It's rare for someone to get mad at them, but that doesn't mean they're safe from a good scolding.

(5). Basil has a strong sense of humility and never boasts about their accomplishments. Instead, they're more interested in hearing the feats of others than their own but would shyly ask for a story.

Weaknesses:
(1). Their forgetfulness and their memory span are bad. You could assign a tea date with them hours later, but they would still forget about it. Guess their mind is too focused on maintaining the garden than anyone else.

(2). Basil was never taught to read or write, lacking knowledge of literature. The local villagers will assist him in reading and writing, but they're struggling.

(3). To make this short, they can't swim. It's not that they're fearful of water. It's that they don't know how to swim.

(4). Weak in the arms, Basil can't carry heavy things well. They would ask for aid (mainly his brother), but they would struggle to get the first words out. The only thing they can wield is a bow and dagger.

(5). Hemophobia: the fear of blood. Seeing or smelling the sight of blood would make them freeze in place. Basil doesn't know why they got this phobia. It's there, and they're suffering from it.

Backstory:
Unlike most of the people from Dhirwa, Basil wasn't born into a sector. Instead, they were found outside of the kingdom in the Nhadir Mountain while their father was out hunting for both food and profit. They were raised by a family of commoners within the Alsham Sector, but that didn't stop Basil from exploring the other sectors. At the age of 16, they were hired by the previous King to tend to the royal gardens every so often. At 20, they became a manservant to the male royal members of the family, but they still take care of the gardens.

With quite a lovely face that many find pleasing, this woman has a heart shaped face with a soft jawline that goes into a slightly pointed chin. Her nose is a straight and feminine nose, though somewhat curved downward at the end. Her cheeks are of average height and not particularly pronounced.

Her large, round eyes are a golden hazel tone, being some mix of green and brown, though their golden hue implies the presence of more brown influence. These are framed by short, though dark, eyelashes. She often wears dark eyeshadow to compliment her skin tone and make her golden gaze stand out all the more. Her lips are nicely thick and round, naturally a pale pink, though they are most times painted a dark reddish burgundy. Her eyebrows are well kept though somewhat thin (what could be considered feminine) in shape, and settle nicely above her eyes.

Her frame is small, with her standing at 5'4" and weighing in at roughly 110. Her form lacks extensive curves, as she has a rectangular body shape, though her waist is noticeable to an extent. Her bust and butt are small to match the rest of her.

Attire: She often wears dresses with corsets, extenuating her somewhat straight figure as much as possible. Gold is almost always part of her outfit, true to her culture. However, warm colors are also usually a center piece, as they compliment all the warm tones in her natural appearance.

Voice: Smooth as silk, soft like fur and with the feeling of a dandelion on the wind. Yet not in the grating, forcibly delicate way. She makes most people feel like she's so fragile and sweet that there is absolutely no risk in trusting her. Thus, she sets her trap.

Being raised to become a studied woman of the court, this young woman has quite the skill of earning the favor of others'. Her tongue drips with sweet words and kind complements ready at the drop of a hat. This manipulative nature isn't used around those she genuinely loves, however, the main object exempt from her efforts being Niamh.

To go along with manipulation, this woman is quite flirtatious when it suits her to earn the favor of men and women alike. However, she isn't naturally flirtatious. In fact, around one she favors, she can be, and quite often is, an embarrassed, flustered mess. She does her best to keep herself composed, though, as that is in her nature and saves her dignity.

As one might expect of her, she is quite respectful and polite to all, but especially figures ranked above her. Everybody can lose her respect, however, though she hardly displays her distaste of anybody because it is never in her interest, tempting as it is to cut down a prideful noble with sharp words.

She is quite the cautious individual. Being in a position such as hers, this is a wise move. She wouldn't want to make the princess look bad, as she knows her actions reflect on whom the princess keeps for company, and painting the princess in poor lighting is the last of her wishes. Loyalty is a trait not uncommon to display itself in this young woman, as she is loyal. Her loyalty isn't unwavering and it isn't necessarily firm (except in the instance of Niamh), though she takes pride in supporting those she cares for whether they are in the room or not.

It also won't come as much of a surprise to find that this woman is down to earth. She is intelligent and didn't have the most loving home life, meaning she doesn't necessarily believe in happily ever afters, though she hopes for them, like all. Does she dream of a knight in shining armor coming in on a white steed and whisking her off to some fantasy land? Of course she does, but she doesn't ever imagine it will happen, and she hasn't had any object of her affection that she longed for as a lover thus far.
