Hometown:
Taewe (Adopted and moved at 11.)
Leurbost (Born and raised until 11.)
Role: Heir’s Guard.
Desired Role: Honored and satisfied.
Occupation(s):
Heir’s Guard; Aziz’s current job, and honestly? He’s honored to have it, he knows how big of a deal it is. He knows how necessary the position is. He knows that it means that their Savior, the Emperor, thinks highly of him and trusts him. And he couldn’t be more satisfied with such a position. He’s useful to the grand scheme, he’s no longer simply a pawn to be used. He’s now a piece worth considering.
Ranger/Knight; While his brother, Abaddon, is certainly the most proficient fighter in the regiment… No one can deny that Aziz is the better archer, the better strategist. Unlike Abaddon, Aziz was a tracker, a hunter, a scout, and a spy. While not the best at swordplay, he makes up for it with his dagger throwing, his archery, his life distance fighting, his use of a staff, and his mind.
Spy; During the fight for the throne, Aziz had been one of the trusted enough members in the Devil Army of Tavarious, the future Emperor, to go into the castle and act among those working there as servants. Most, if not all, of the other spies died before Tavarious could make his way to the castle and take it.
Scout; When he first joined the army, he was a tracker and scout. Sent ahead to follow the enemy, find the enemy, and decide whether or not a battle was a good option.
Whose Side: Loyal Supporter.

Aziz stands a bit short at 5' 5”, though he can sometimes get his height up to 5’7” depending on shoes and posture of the day. His skin tone is a nice fair color, pale but not to the point of Abaddon’s pale, with yellow-greenish undertones, making him seem a bit more sickly than most even when he’s completely healthy. Something that’s rather annoying, honestly, given that whenever he is sick it’s even more noticeable that he has a sickly undertone anyways. He doesn’t have many freckles, if any.
--
Aziz has a rectangular face shape, meaning he has something akin to a square face that’s simply been stretched to where it’s longer. His cheeks aren’t as full as they could be, but they’re full enough to not be worrying- Especially when compared to his brother. Now for the nose, he has a straight pointed nose, meaning that while it’s straight and relatively normal- It’s also pointed more than most noses are. His nose does have a dip at the bridge though, as if a chunk had been chipped off by something. His lips are thinner and downturned in shape. His most often seen expression is one that’s of narrowed eyes and straight lips- If not slightly downturned in a small, judging frown. Sometimes, he’ll get a glint to his eyes and a small smile, as if trying to keep in his joy. This is a reserved look for those who he’s playing mind games with or who he’s just really frustrated with.
--
His eyebrows are average in thickness, and with a pointed arch. Finally, his eyes are a downturned monolid shape and are an amber-gold color speckled with gray that gives off the impression of a shalimar shade or perhaps even of stardust. There’s light eye bags underneath them hinting at the lower amount of sleep he’d been getting recently. His top lashes are rather thick too, though his lower ones are about average if not a bit thinner honestly. His face is framed by golden blonde hair, it’s perfectly straight without any waves or curls. Funnily enough though, it goes all the way down to his waist when down with the bangs always being pushed out of his eyes. Usually though, he puts it up into a tight ponytail, making sure it doesn’t get into his face suddenly.
--
His body structure could quickly be described as rectangular. Everything about his structure screams that he’s more so built for agility than muscle, though he certainly has enough of that to at least hold his own in hand-to-hand until he can get a weapon. He weighs a good 123, with his BMI at a perfectly healthy 20.47.
--
When it comes to scars, Aziz has one right under his left eye that cuts across the bridge of his nose too, the sole cause of the dip there. He also has plenty of scars at his hands from handcrafting his own bows, arrows, staffs, and daggers since he was a kid. He also has a few that line his upper arms and forearms, all collected from training. He also has one from Abaddon at his chest, from the singular time they had ever fought.
Fashion:
When it comes to attire and fashion, Aziz loves his camo and form-fitting clothes that allow him to move freely while still not being too baggy as to result in the opposite. So unless there's some formal event going on- Expect to see him wearing a camo jacket, black form-fitting turtleneck, black form-fitting pants, and black hunting boots. As for more formal events, or when he plans to play a mind game on someone, you can instead see a form-fitting uniform like outfit. A black form-fitting shirt underneath a black form-fitting buttoned trench coat with black form-fitting pants and sleek black dress boots.
--
As for accessories? He doesn’t have many, but he does have a small necklace that he usually wears. The pendant is on a black rope-like string that lets it hang at the middle of his sternum. The pendant itself is small, it being a golden bow and arrow.
--
As for any piercings he has? He does have a lobe piercing on both ears, but that’s about it. He’s thought about getting more, but decided it may reflect too much light when hunting for it to be worth it.
Posture:
Aziz’s posture is a very passively proud thing. And it seemingly changes by the day. One day, he’ll be standing straight as a board as if from any angle an attack could come and he needs to stretch out his height as much as possible to feel it coming. But then the next, it’ll be so relaxed that you might as well look right over him without being able to tell he was there to look over in the first place. Usually though, it’s an odd mix in between. He’ll have a proud posture that’s alert but free of tension. Like he truly is honored and alert but isn’t afraid or stressed about anything in his life. Which is fairly accurate.
Voice:
When it comes to voice and what one expects- Aziz does not reach those expectations, he surpasses them. His stature and entire features may lead you to believe he has a higher pitched, scratchier voice… Which couldn’t be farther from the truth. His voice is actually clear, firm, and on the lower end of the spectrum. It doesn’t demand attention, but he does tend to draw out words at times. As if he forgets how long everything's meant to be.
Handwriting: His penmanship, put simply, is immaculate. It’s legible, neat, and somewhat elegant. Though, as he tends to write with his left-hand, it can get smeared if he isn’t careful. Despite this, it’s usually still legible whenever it does happen.
Disabilities: Aziz doesn’t have any known disabilities, and to seek out that knowledge would simply take too much time. He has a job to do, after all! He can’t afford to be missing to find things out that in the grand schemes of the Emperor don’t truly matter!
Aroma: Aziz doesn’t have a sharp scent, he doesn’t have a heavy scent. He knows well that animals have much sharper noses than people do, and he doesn’t need to be scaring off prey with his scent. That being said, the scent he does have is of the forest. Woods, berries, flowers, freshly rained on dirt, but with an almost unnoticeable undertone of newly mined ore. And star anise, strangely enough.

Personality:
(Credits to catadioptric@picrew.me)
Aziz is not someone who people look at and immediately see a threat like with his brother, Abaddon. No, people seem to think of him as quiet and weak. While he is quiet, he certainly isn’t weak. But because he is reserved, and never truly picks a fight, people assume he is most of the time.
--
Loyalty and honor are very important to this man. He doesn’t take kindly to liars that lie for no reason, and he also doesn’t take kindly to people who would rather run from a battle in order to survive. He sees both types of people as cowards and opportunistic, and will not trust them easily.
--
Speaking of who Aziz does not trust easily, he doesn’t trust anyone easily. He’s skeptical when meeting new people, and if someone doesn’t prove themselves to him in the first impression then it’s likely he’ll never end up trusting them. But if you do gain his trust? He will protect you and your ideals to the very end.
--
His morals are strong, as are his ideals. But if you’re someone he trusts? He’s not very stubborn, and is actually quite easy to sway. Because his highest-held moral is honor, and he will change his views to match those he is loyal to if it means he can better honor them.
--
Something that Aziz will not change, however, is the fact that he has morals. That he has rules that he follows. He’s what one could call Lawful Neutral in that regard. Because he will not break his personal code, and he will never break the law or turn a blind eye to those who do. That would simply be disgraceful, in his opinion. Before becoming the guard or the heir, the army would have to be careful to not send him to Haran. As far as he’s aware, there is no Black Market there.
--
Aziz is also very polite and respectful of those above him, he understands his place in the hierarchy and he honestly has no qualms on it. He understands his role, he understands his purpose, and he understands that he is expandable in the overarching schemes of the Emperor. And he absolutely revels in it.
--
It’s one thing that often caused him to be seen as weird, the way he easily fell into place in the army as a subordinate. An extremely competent subordinate, no less. The way he was easily pushed into submission without losing any kind of respect. Because his eyes always burned with satisfaction whenever he was of use to someone, and whenever he was explaining just how expandable everyone is to those in high positions. But he doesn’t speak of it as if he holds resentment, just the opposite really.
--
Truly, Aziz is a very sadomasochistic person. Especially enjoying the mind games that he finds true. A hostage has no purpose in the long run, a prisoner holds no more importance than him in the larger schemes planned by those in power, and he absolutely revels in making people, and himself, aware of that fact. Watching someone break mentally was always a much more enjoyable pastime in his opinion, anyways.
Greatest Joy: Seeing people crumble as they realize their life means absolutely nothing in the grand schemes of their Savior, the Emperor!
Greatest Fear: Failing in his service to the Emperor. He hasn’t done it yet and he certainly doesn’t plan on it happening anytime soon!

Apherious ‘Cherry’ Chero; When they had first met, despite Cherry instantly irking him as someone he just knew he wouldn’t like- Aziz was respectful. When Cherry began the torment of short comments and petty pranks… Aziz was still respectful. At least, for a time. In fact, at first, Aziz tried to explain the faults in Cherry’s thinking. Explain that no, he wasn’t a suck-up, he just loved the game. It seemed to go over the poor man’s head, though.
--
That time was filled with side eye glances, sighs, rolling eyes, and drawn out phrases to simply see how far Cherry could be pushed before anything drastic happened. And then the man started the lying, the bold faced lying that irked Aziz most. And the petty retorts and snide remarks and underhanded games began.
--
Aziz is not a liar, and is not someone to bring dishonor by being disrespectful or disgraceful. So, he still calls the man by what he prefers, Cherry. And he still makes sure to keep some level of being polite with the man, despite how much he despises the said fruit man. One common thing, in fact, is whenever Aziz gets the chance to introduce Cherry to someone on a mission that they do not have to keep identities secret from… He’ll introduce him with a “Apherious… ‘Cherry’, Chero… A shame… he doesn’t go by his given name… He is, after all, an asparagus…”
--
Another common thing that Aziz enjoys doing to this man, is giving off remarks that whether the man likes or not- Causes him to think. This, in all honesty, is where Aziz excels and revels in the mutual hatred. Aziz also realizes that when they’re on missions together, it’s with Aziz being in charge of keeping the man under control. Which is good, given how little care for the law the man seems to have and given that he has experience in watching Abaddon, of all people, so he can certainly watch Cherry.
Abaddon; His adoptive older brother. The two were close growing up, despite basically everything working against them. Until Abaddon had lashed out and ended up hurting him as well. Truthfully, it wasn’t the first time Aziz had been harmed in a way that would eventually scar. His nose and under the eye wound came first, while he was still in Leurbost even. It was also of a near death experience, but not quite as an obvious one as the one with Abaddon. Frankly though, after about only a few days to a week of avoiding Abaddon, Aziz was ready to go back to being brothers. He didn’t hold it against Abaddon, didn’t really see much wrong with it. It just happened sometimes, was his view on it.
--
When Abaddon joined the military, Aziz had already been tracking and hunting on his own time, making treks to Leurbost and enjoying a good time of finding and killing deer. He was a good hit, his eyes just as keen as others in Leurbost. So, he decided to go ahead and join too once he was of age. He ended up going down the path of strategy, tracking, scouting, and the likes of stuff like that. Abaddon still avoided him plenty though. Aziz tried talking to him a few times, but it never really happened.
--
Even now, Aziz is struggling to rekindle their brotherly bond. He’s sure it’ll work eventually, since they do at least sometimes talk now… If he can manage to stop giving Helene the stink eye whenever she insults Tava.
Tavarious Chernobog; Ah, the Emperor. If it weren’t obvious enough, Aziz idolizes… Well. Not this man, actually. But his position and ambition. Of his games and schemes. That’s not to say that Aziz doesn’t look up to him, Tava is a sort of role model for him, just not in the way most people think of immediately upon seeing how he acts towards the Emperor. Which is friendly, respectfully, and politely. Aziz trusts this man with his life and purpose in it. He trusts that Tava has a plan for practically everything. In a way, they’re both each other’s closest confidant.
--
Frankly, Aziz is highly protective of him and his dignity, of his ideals and schemes, of his name and honor. And should anyone cross the Emperor even slightly, even vaguely- They will most likely be hunted and killed without mercy. Not in the way his brother does it, of course he’s more methodical and careful, but they will still be dead and unable to further slander Tava.
--
When it comes to the flirtations that his best friend gives, Aziz is rather unresponsive. Though certainly in a manner that makes it obvious that he simply knows that it’s in a playful and non-serious way. Plus, angering the Emperor’s lovers is one of the last things on his to-do list.
--
Something that he is responsive to, always, is plotting mind games to play on enemies. He does this with Tava joyously, and Tavarious is perhaps one of the few people to actually have seen his sadistic smile without being on the receiving end of the cause.
