Nope! In the Legend of Sleepy Hallow, his head is buried, and they have to find it and give it to him, so he'll stop taking others heads. If you notice, in Sleepy Hollow, he rides around with a Jack'o'Lantern until he finds a victim.

In the original folklore, he carries his own head, and the only time he doesn't is when he takes others heads so they'll have to suffer like him. He kinda just does it for the hell of it :/ But, it's commonly mentioned in several different versions of the tale that his head was taken off by cannon fire during a war.

Um, depends on how you define successful. Like, if I was happy but not well-known, never with too much money, I think I'd rather live a long unsuccessful life.

Would you rather be able to heal yourself from anything or be able to heal other people from minor injuries and illnesses.
