No offense, but haven't ever read it and doesn't sound like something I'd read.

A wolf called Wander, by Rosanne Parry

Short summarry because why not:

Swift had a small pack. His siblings, Warm, Wag, Pounce, and Sharp, his Aunt Song and their pupwatcher Growl. Their mother, (I don't know her name) and their noble father, leader of the pack. Life couldn't be more perfect, until an enemy pack attacked and left Swift alone, and abandoned. He wandered throughout unknown territory, facing constant dangers, making new friends, and struggling to survive. Could he ever find a wolf like him, and a place to call home?
