Jax rambled on with little reply from Damien, it was unsurprising really Jax always had been the more talkative one especially when he had alot to say after being away for a while. The conversation, well Jax's rambling, soon came to drifted off into a silence. Jax looked around at the surroundings with a quiet sigh, the city was just as loud as ever but Jax mind was louder, drowning out the noises going on around him. He just wanted to enjoy his time being back in his home city but it seemed impossible with everything on his mind, he had no idea where they were heading but he couldn't wrap his head around everything with Noah and it probably showed on his face. Damien glanced at Jax with a raised brow, studying his face quickly "What's wrong?" He asked questioningly, he already guessed what it was but it was evident Jax was just overthinking about Noah, although he couldn't really blame him. Jax sighed quietly as he looked at Damien "I don't know, I don't know what to think about it, like I know it was just Noah flirting with that girl but it just seems like he's not really thinking about me, I dunno it's just confusing me"

Damien listened to Jax intently and nodded, he wasn't sure what he could say but really it was for Jax to think about and decide what to do.

Noah groaned as he kept walking down the street, his mind was racing. He didn't seem to be distant from Jax but the thought was stuck in the back of his mind. He did think it was just him getting annoyed or something. He just shook his head to clear some thoughts and just decided to head back so he could finish work and sort things out with Jax. Except, Noah didn't really want to talk to Jax about the whole thing last night, he would most likely avoid anything about it. He huffed a bit out of anger but still walked into his building. Keni was done with the coding while Anna and Millie were doing gods know what in the private room. Noah just sighed as his eyes fell onto the floor when he bumped into Keni. He was just avoiding everyone and wanted it to stay that way. He needed Millie though so he walked into the room without a second thought. He was expecting something spicy but instead, the two women were talking. They immediately stopped when they saw the door open. "I need to talk to Millie. Is everything alright?" Anna nodded and got up, passing Noah as she went out of the room.

Damien looked on at Jax, concern etched onto his face, he had never his friend like this in all his years of knowing him, so lost in thought and so unaware of his actions. It did worry him slightly but he wasn't sure what he could do or say. After a few minutes longer just walking in silence Damien suddenly broke it "Now that you like guys you learn how much they can suck at times." Jax stopped and looked at Damien with a laugh, Damien just replied with a shrug knowing that he was right "Yeah, I guess they can do" Jax replied with a small smile, he was still thinking over everything although now was wondering if he was just making a big deal out of it and being too clingy and attention seeking. Jax knew he hadn't been in very many relationships and knew that he could be quite over bearing but he didn't have a clue if he was just him making a problem out of it. He sighed again and just focused on the surroundings trying to forget about his thoughts.

After talking to Millie about all of his problems, Millie finally had enough of it and walked away, grabbing Anna on her way out. "Hey! Where are you two going?" Millie turned around and stopped, "We have a party to set up. Your welcome to come, I'm sure Keni would enjoy some alone time." Noah smiled and nodded, anything to get away from Keni. He followed them and got in their car. Millie was driving while Anna was in the passengers seat. "So…" Anna raised her eyebrow, "So?" Noah chuckled and said, "Why do I feel like I'm avoiding Jax?" Millie shrugged and responded, "Well maybe because you flirted with that girl, perhaps Jax is upset so your instincts are telling you to avoid hm?" Noah's jaw dropped, "Jax knows!?" Millie causally nodded while slamming on the breaks. "Sure, I told him after I saw you with the girl." Noah's heart started racing, he didn't feel totally guilty but he felt bad. "Shit…" He whispered as he laid across the back seats. He wanted to talk to Jax but unfortunately, he didn't feel like talking about that.

Jax pushed the thoughts from his mind and thought over what Damien had said, glancing at him with a smirk. "Sooo, men suck right, any specific storiess????" Jax enquired looking on in interest and a chuckle. He did know abit about Damien's exes but they hadn't spoken too much about that before, mostly because Damien didn't want to talk about guys with his 'straight' best friend but now that was different, Jax thought it would be quite interesting, especially with how many more people Damien had been with than him. Damien looked at Jax with a raised brow seeing if he was serious but gave a quiet chuckle seeing he was

"Well my first ever boyfriend was a complete dickhead, he completely screwed my life over, that's why I became a criminal in the first place"

Damien proceeded to talk about that boy, it did bring up alot of bad memories that he wouldn't have been comfortable with if Jax had asked even less than a year ago, but he feel he could talk about it now that he had Jason.

Noah kept making noises in the backseat and it annoyed Anna a little too much. After a bit though, she snapped at Noah. "Will you shut the fuck up Noah!? Jax probably doesn't even care and why should you!?" Noah groaned loudly and yelled back, "Because I care about Jax and I don't want him thinking it was harmful because it wasn't idiot!" Millie sighed and whispered, "Oh boy…" It was a creation of an argument where Millie was disconnected from it while Anna and Noah were screaming on the top of their lungs. Thankfully, they lived in the city so it was only a 20 minute ride back to their penthouse. When they arrived, Millie slammed on her breaks and broke the yelling. "We are here! Lord save me." Millie immediately got out of the car and went to unlock the doors. The first floor of the penthouse was covered in transparent glass and so were the doors. Anyone could come and see inside the house, luckily, people mind their own business in this part of the city. Once Millie unlocked the huge glass doors, she shut the blinds from clicking on a remote. She had a migraine from all the yelling so she went to the elevator and went up to her room. There she was shocked to see Luna in the room. "Noah!" Millie dragged Luna down the stairs and into the main living room. "Why the hell is Luna here!?" Noah shrugged as he went straight to the couch and laid down. "Nope, no shoes and you better take a damn shower before getting in a bed." Noah rolled his eyes and kicked off his shoes which earned him a smack in the face. "What did I do!?" Noah pretended to be offended but Millie wasn't having it. "Take a shower or get the hell out of the house. I ain't dealing with dirty men. Anyway, I'm taking a nap before setting everything up. Don't wake me up unless you want a death wish." Noah chuckled nervously as he ran up the glass and floating stairs and rushed to the bathroom to get a shower. Millie then turned around and saw Anna eating some chips. "Wanna join me?" Anna smiled and nodded while putting the bag of chips away and licking her fingers to get the crumbs. "Let's go." Anna went up the stairs while Millie followed her. The two relaxed in the bed but Anna wanted a spa treatment so she turned on the massager that was inserted in the bed. Millie fell asleep, luckily, Anna stopped the massager and cuddled with Millie as she also fell asleep.

Back downstairs, once Noah was done taking a shower. He decided to text Jax, wondering if he could come over to the penthouse. He shrugged and grabbed his phone and texted Jax, 'Hey! Wanna come to Millie's penthouse?' He smiled as he sent the text and laid on the couch with only his joggers and socks on. Unfortunately for Millie, she would never allow Noah to walk around the house without a shirt on but she wasn't here was she? No, Noah took the opportunity and smirked at the thought.

Jax listened intently to everything Damien was saying, he was surprised at how Damien's ex had treated him, to him he was one of the best guys ever and he couldn't understand why someone would take advantage of that, still it did back up Damien's reasoning of men being dicks. It also did what he wanted, take his mind off his own thoughts so he saw as a win, plus got to listen to Damien speak about his past. "Anyway, I've got Jason now so that guy is irrevalent, moved way on from him now" Damien spoke with a small chuckle and Jax smiled, he could definitely tell how much Damien loved his boyfriend and that was enough to make him forget all his own troubles. He listened again, his attention consumed as he continued talking.

It turned out, as a shock to Jax, that Damien hadn't exactly been with many guys and if he had they hadn't lasted long but he went on to tell him about the many hookups he'd had. It did surprise Jax by all the different guys he'd been with but also he was inrigued by all Damien was saying, it mostly surprised with all that Damien was saying, he hadn't heard him speak so much in a long while which made him chuckle. He was distracted by a notification on his phone and checked it quickly, seeing it was a text from Noah, he read over it and thought it over quickly but wasn't sure. "Do you think I should go?" Jax asked as he showed the text to Damien who looked at him as if he was crazy "Yeah, you can talk to him then, you can't keep avoiding it" Jax sighed as he thought about it again and nodded before sending a text back to Noah 'Sure, I'll be over soon". He asked Damien to walk there with him who rolled his eyes in reply but went along anyway.

Noah groaned and even yelled in the pillow. He had no idea what to say to Jax when he gets there. "Oh my gosh." He shot up and ran to the kitchen to stuff his mouth with chips and milk. He unfortunately chugged the half gallon milk and ate about two bags of chips. He heard a sound and felt like someone was coming down the stairs. "What are you doing?" Millie came around the corner and crossed her arms. "What are you doing awake?" Millie shrugged, "I can't sleep with Anna snoring." Noah chuckled nervously, he wasn't going to mention the fact that he invited Jax over. "So, you wanna join me?" Millie chuckled, "Sure." She grabbed a bag of chips and started eating. After a few minutes, she threw away the bag and started preparing for the birthday party for herself. That was also something Noah had to tell Jax about because there was no way in hell he was going to Millie's party alone. He wandered around and finally settled on the couch, waiting for Jax. Millie had gone upstairs to get ready and prepare the guest beds from when Anna threw her party.

Jax walked towards where Millie's penthouse was, Damien had suggested going back to get the car since they were closer to that and it would be quicker but Jax decided against it due to wanting the time to think and he was enjoying the walk, well as much as he could anyway. Damien glanced at Jax who had become silent again but didn't want to ask any further questions, it was up to Jax to decided what he was going to say to Noah and he didn't want to exactly influence him to say one thing or another. Jax didn't know whether he should mention it straight away, he just didn't want to end up getting angry. He sighed quietly before looking back at Damien "So, continue with your stories" Damien raised a brow but continued anyway with a chuckle from Jax. He figured he could atleast be distracted instead of just overthinking everything.

After a while they finally got to Millie's penthouse, Damien eyed the place with a raised brow, it screamed off wealth but he really wasn't surprised. Jax turnt back to Damien "Okay, well, I'll let you know how it goes" Damien nodded "Okay, good luck" Jax nodded quickly before sending Noah a quick text 'I'm outside', he waved at Damien who was already heading back to wherever it was.

Noah was on the couch screaming in the pillow again. Millie didn't know but when she walked down the stairs and heard a muffled scream, she rolled her eyes. Her eyes went straight to Noah as he kept screaming but it wasn't too loudly. Millie then turned and looked outside and saw Jax and Damien talking. She groaned as she went over to the couch and flicked his head. “Hey asshole, Jax is outside. Why the hell did you invite him over?” Noah chuckled nervously as he rushed outside and grabbed Jax’s hand and dragged him into a private bedroom on the first floor so they didn’t have to go upstairs. “Ignore this.” Noah gave an awkward smile to Millie as he passed her. Once he was in the room, he threw Jax on the bed. “Sorry about that.” He chuckled awkwardly as he sat on the bed, completely forgetting to lock the door but he knew Millie, she would never come busting into a room right…? Noah’s eyes fell onto the floor, there was no way in hell he was starting the conversation off, plus he didn’t have the energy to argue with Jax anyway. He just hoped that Jax wasn’t overly mad at him.
