Malachi didnt take his eyes off Johanna as he answered. "Yes. I made it myself. It harnesses power from..." he stopped himself from revealing the one secret they had left. "A higher source. Its very delicate, and it's been acting up lately-oh!" His hand flew to his head. "I completely forgot! Johanna accidentally damaged it. Its been misfiring lately. You should tell your people to handle it with caution. It could go off and take Raz anywhere in the dimensions. I need to fix that."

Nev's eyes widened as Malachi spoke. "Anywhere? Kie would certainly not be happy about that," he once again tried to lighten the mood with a joke, although he wasn't entirely joking. Kie would most definitely throw the biggest fit if Raz disappeared into another dimension, and that wouldn't be enjoyable for anyone.
