I don't know how long I lay there but I was spacing out. I was startled out of my thoughts and daydreaming by Jesper. I was so in my head that I didn't notice him coming so obviously I jumped a little, slightly spooked. I paused to process what he said and I even blushed a bit before sitting straight up.

"rytsas," I greeted back, I stared at the fish. This must be his offering, meaning he actually wants to be my mate. I paused staring at it a little more before taking it and eating it. I immediately nuzzled him a bit and let out a low purr sound.

I couldn't help but chuckle quietly to myself when i realized i had accidentally spooked Uri. Hopefully no on eles had ever caught her like that. But she wouldn't have to worry about that stuff anymore because i would always be there to protect her, no matter what. I sat down as she blushed, smiling warmly. She was adorable. I watched her eat the fish, glad to see she seemed to understand my gesture and accepted me. If i hadn't known before, it was obvious she now saw me as her mate when she nuzzled me and purred. I tensed out of surprise, my eyes wide. Blush spread across my face as i leaned into Uri and purred back. "Kessa īlon finally deal lēda bona yknagon hen aōhon sir?" I whispered into her ear, trying to act confident as my heart pounded in my chest.

When he purred back I felt the blush on my face get deeper. What he said after only made me more flustered,

"bona would sagon lovely, yn nyke daor kesīr. tis ta close ta skoriot ñuha kepa wanders," I said getting up and walking past him. I gave him a glance back, "Skoro syt ȳdra daor jī travel ta ñuha cave va la mainland?" I asked "bona ñuhoso īlon won't emagon ta worry nūmāzma mirros else yn jemēla" I said turning around so i was right beside him and partially leaning into his side as I slightly purred. My confidence was finding its way back, so I was going to test the waters a bit. See who is more in charge, see if he wants all of it or if he was willing to give me some slack to order him around from time to time.

An example was my father, he never listened to anyone but himself, and he only considered if you asked politely.

I watched Uri walk past me, listening to her as she spoke. I was about to tease her when she spoke again and eventually came to stand beside me before leaning against me. I had seen other female's act like this and that meant she was testing me. However, i pretended not to notice because honestly, i didn't want to face any tests. I just wanted to be in love for a day. "Dont jaelā naejot ivestragon geros ilas naejot aōha kepa ēlī?" I asked instead of actually answering her. "Se skoros nūmāzma mirre ñuha raqirossa? unless jaelā iā misunderstanding nūmāzma kidnapping nyke, nyke suggest īlon umbagon mirrī angotan longer naejot ivestragon geros ilas naejot tolvys." I added, throwing her a smirk. I was honestly proud of myself for dodging the test yet still giving an appropriate answer. I could sense her confidence coming back and that made me slightly sad. So i licked her, hoping to fluster her once more.

I let out a sigh and gave him a look, he was avoiding it. He had fair points, but I also wasn't about to go and approach my father yet either. There wasn't anywhere private in the colony though, not unless we flew off a little and found a small island. I was quickly drug out of my thoughts by a lick on the forehead. I paused to stare at Jesper for a second trying to process what happened. Once I did a light blush appeared on my face, not enough to tell against my black scales unless you knew my markings by heart.

"Sȳrī, skorkydoso gaomagon jaelā ta proceed?" I cooed at him, trying not to let his small tease phase me.

I could tell she wasn't the happiest with me when i avoided her question, but that didn't stop me from smiling. I was also a bit disappointed when she didn't blush from my actions. Oh well, i would find another way. Just for fun. I sighed when she asked me what we should do. She really was going to make me give her a straight answer. Well, she obviously didn't want to do it here, even if i didn't care if someone found us. That would just amplify the fact that she was mine. Still, i didn't want her to be uncomfortable. But i didn't want to leave just yet, even if i was an adventurer type. Perhaps we could fly to a small island close to here? Oh wait, i knew a perfect spot. "Follow nyke. Īlon kessa aderī sagon somewhere orvorta." I finally answered before nudging her gently and walking to an exit of the colony. Once i was sure she was ready, i took off and started in the direction of the small island i had in mind.

I paused but followed we walked by the different areas and the cold breeze hit my face when we reached a ledge. I looked over and stared at the crashing waves below before I heard Jesper take off and I looked up before diving off and letting the breeze from the cliff send me flying back up so all I had to do was keep my wings stretched. I was large enough that it couldn’t send me back into the colony and instead it sent me forward. I followed him to the island and once we reached it I landed. I no longer felt like I had to hold my tail down and finally relaxed, letting out a comfortable sigh.
