Emelote heads back out, finding Ryan and convincing him to spar with her. So the two head to the training room dressed in exercise clothes. The two stretch and prepare, before squaring up. Emelote launches the first attack, that Ryan blocks before backing it up with a roundhouse kick. Emelote spins out of the way, lashing out with her own leg. Ryan catches it and flips her on her back. Emelote grunts as she hits the ground, all the wind getting knocked out. Ryan lunges and Emelote rolls out the way, still gasping for breath as she kicks out with her legs, tangling with Ryan and knocking him to the ground.
(Sure, go for it)

The moon was fully hanging over the sky at this point, and Joshua was staring at the hallwway that the thief went down, this time around he was fully flanked by the majority of the Masks. This was it: the big bust was happening right now, and this could either make or break Joshua's rise to the top. "Everything is ready. Joshua? You made the find, so you're on point in this raid." The captain said to him, and he merely nodded before leading his group to where the hideout was. Through the different buildings and alleys he went, gliding past the corners and random bits of junk that was there. Eventually he spotted the door and stopped short. After everyone was there he took a look at the door from afar, seeing the reinforcement to the hinges, so he decided that the door couldn't be simply kicked down, so two Masks with axes came up to the door and began to chop into it, reducing the door to pieces in less than a minute. The captain and the rest of the Masks rushed in, with the cap saying "Everyone in this building is under arrest for colluding with the Guild! Stand down and surrender your weapons now!!" Joshua was already past the captain, ready to take down whoever was there.

Emelote was about to strip and go to sleep, when suddenly the alarm was raised and Ryan rushes in. "Em, we've been breached." Emelote's eyes narrow as she prepares to step forward, her eyes starting to glow gold. Ryan shakes his head,"No, there are to many. You must leave. Take Anivia and go. We will be fine." Emelote narrows her eyes,"I can't." Ryan glances at the closed door,"Half of the Guild has already been captured. The younger ones will most likely get off with an easier punishment, especially our youngest ones. But Em, your the one most at danger. You've used magic against a few of the Masks. You must go." Emelote's lips thin,"Very well. Anivia!" The phoenix awakes with a startled cry, and the door is thrown open by a Mask. Ryan glances back,"Go!" Ryan launches forward, distracting the Mask as Emelote snags a bag that held some clothes, some provisions, and her sword in the scabbard was tied to the side. "Anivia!" The phoenix launches forward and the moment the phoenix lands on Emelote the two fade into the shadows, becoming invisible.

Joshua moved through the absolute chaos of the moment, trying to get deeper into the hideout to try to catch anyone who's trying to reach a back exit and get out that way. He had to dodge some daggers and swords, but he was determined on reaching the back and keeping anyone from getting away. He reached a door and it was being held shut by a few of the youngest members of the guild... apparently it wasn't much of a worry for Joshua as he pushed past any resistance and rounded up the kids and left them in the care of the other Masks. This is great! I can't believe I lucked my way into a shutdown as big as this! The pride was rushing into his head, but it would be truly exquisite if he was able to catch the girl that slipped away that one time... then it would be perfect.

Emelote takes a deep breath as she looks around, completely safe in the shadows she was free to examine the damage the Masks were causing to their home... It stirred up a fury in her. But she was in the main room where all of the Guild was being rounded up. She could see Ryan among them and the warning in his eyes as he looked around. He was aware that she was still within the building. Emelote's fury boils, but she quickly forces it down. Could she take down that many? Her magic would never be as strong as a pure blooded elf's
On her shoulder, Anviva lets out a quiet keening noise and Emelote sighs. The shadows outside were endless at the moment, she was completely safe. Her eyes scan the Masks, if they had sent some of their younger and less experienced ones, then she would stand a chance. But Emelote could tell many, if not all, were experienced senior Masks. They would know how to deal with an elf. And facing a half-blood elf would be no issue at all. There was safety in numbers, and her numbers had dwindled the moment the Masks had entered, catching most of the Guild unprepared and asleep.

Joshua couldn't help but feel disappointed when he wasn't able to find the girl that slipped away from him earlier, but now his mind shifted to arresting everyone that he saw in the building, and now his eyes were on Ryan. He was proving to be quite a difficult fellow to keep down, even with several Masks trying to take him down at once. Joshua snuck up behind him and tried to wrestle him down from behind, his training with the Masks coming into serious play here, but even with that, he could immediately tell that it wasn't going to be an easy fight. (Sorry it's shorter than the rest but I wanted to get some action between Ryan and Joshua before he gets hauled off...)

Emelote bristles as she sees a bunch of Masks gang up on Ryan, and Anviva lets out a quiet warning in her ear. Emelote takes a deep breath and prepares to slip away into the shadows and disappear into the night. However she catches sight of one of the Masks, the same one who had figured out who she was, or rather what she looked like. Emelote's jaw tightens, Ryan was like a father figure to her, even if he was only a few years older than her. Emelote melts from the shadows as some of the Masks turn on her the second they see her. However they halt as Emelote's eyes turn a deep golden, an angry and dark aura radiating off of her. "Get off them." Came her demanding and angry order. Ryan glares at Emelote, demanding she leave. Emelote stands her ground, however she was ready to disappear at any moment. Anivia stands on her shoulder, her feathers bristling.
(All good, figured I'd set up the first, maybe second, encounter where Emelote slips away)

As Joshua tries to take down Ryan, a familiar voice calls out from amidst the chaos. "Get off of him." Emelote's voice rang, causing the other Masks to let go, including Joshua, although he did it more out of free will since his priorities shifted the second she revealed herself. "You." Joshua said through gritted teeth, tossing aside another member of the Guild that tried to play interference and rushed after her, hellbent on not letting her get away this time around. "You aren't getting away this time girl!" He shouted as he closed the distance, wanting to get a hand on her in case she tried another one of those disappearing tricks again. "And I'm not going to let you slip into the shadows!" With one last step he left his feet voluntarily to lunge after Em, knowing that every moment in this instance counted.

Emelote watches as the Masks surge towards her, before pulling away as a certain one lunges at her. The one who first saw her face. Emelote allows a ghost of a smirk to flash across her face. Anviva let out a loud screech of warning and Emelote fades back into the shadows again, out of the Masks' grip. Emelote was ready to play some games, though she wouldn't be able to play long. Her energy would run out sooner or later.
(Sorry, kind of short)

Joshua crashed into the wall, hands grasping nothing but air as Emelote disappeared, a smirk on her face as she disappeared. "Dammit! Quit hiding from us!" He shouted at the air, knowing that she couldn't have left the room but he couldn't see her at all. As the time passed more members of the Guild were being carted away, and it even was beginning to draw a crowd from anyone that was still awake at the time, although it wasn't nearly as big as a crowd that would show up to watch during the daytime. "Cover all of the exits! Make sure no one gets away!" The captain ordered, and Joshua was already on it, looking diligently around for a back exit before standing in front of it, ready to play interference and take down anyone and everyone who tried to get out that way.
