Amara looked at Orion. "None of us had eaten before coming in. I guess it was a sign of good luck according to them" she replied. Amara gave a small sigh. "The world up there might think I'm dead. The town knew of how dangerous this place was for them, yet Zane and his little gang thought it was safe and they exaggerated." Giving a shake to her head she added on. "Like I said, I wouldn't have had anywhere to go anyway if I did leave."

Orion nodded at everything that she had said. "Very well. I will show you to where you will be staying." But before he could bring her to where she would sleep, Sokoya came back with a basket, covered by a loosely fitting lid. Orion looked inside of the basket before nodding to her and whispering a few more words to her and she left. "Follow me." He began to walk, leaving the main room and started to head back towards where he slept, however instead of taking a left, he hooked a right and stepped inside of a room. It didn't have much, save for a bed, a crude table and mirror, and a stand for armor. "I know it's not much, but if you earn your keep I'll see to it that you get some more amenities installed into your room." He pointed to the basket which, unbeknownst to her, had some food and a few amenities for her as a little welcome gift.

Amara followed closely, but not too close on the off change he didn't like her being that close. "Um, am I allowed to walk outside for sunlight, or even moonlight if other humans aren't near the dungeon" she asked. She expected the answer to be no, and she would follow that after he spared her life. She looked at the room before she looked back at Orion. "It's still already more than what I'm used to. Thank you" she said with a small bow of her head, Wanting him to know she was grateful.

Orion had to stop and think about that. He already told her that she wouldn't be welcome to the human world, and yet she asked him if she could go outside. He let the lizardmen go out to hunt and collect resources from around the immediate area, albiet they were ordered back inside the dungeon if any humans found them while they were outside, but having Amara outside would be something completely different. He took in a deep breath, making sure he wanted to say the right words before he responded to a question like that. "For right now, no. But, I'm sure that you will be able to head to the surface, as long as you are fine having others beside you to make sure that you don't get into any major trouble." This was another one of his lies. He really didn't want her to escape from the dungeon on one of the expeditions, so hopefully being in a group discouraged that. "You are welcome. Do you have any other questions?"

Amara gave a small nod, having wished that she could have felt the fresh air on her face, but she could understand his hesitance. She closed her eyes as she gave a small sigh. Amara opened her eyes back up before she looked at Orion again. "I understand" she replied before she shook her head. "I dont have anymore right now" she said as she turned to look back at the room. It was even nicer than the one she was in as a kid up until she was sold to Zane. She wouldnt say it, but she was grateful that he was gone, even if she didnt know exactly how.

"Very well. I'll give you some time to get settled in before I come back." And with that, Orion retired to his room for a bit, with Sokoya standing in front of the door on guard. After he shut the door, he took off his mask before sitting down on the chair and looked himself in front of the mirror, seeing his face, however his mind was a mess. Why did I spare her? Because I felt sorry for her because her father couldn't pull through and she was sold to a group of idiots? I must be getting soft somehow. He looked at his mask, and all of the little details he put in to make it more intimidating and scary for those who have yet to see it. Maybe I shouldn't have left her alive, but... there was that tiny voice in the back of his head telling him that keeping her alive could be beneficial to him in the long haul, and he was listening to it... for now at least. She needs to prove herself not only to me, but to everyone else down here. If she doesn't then the other monsters may think I am going soft and eat me alive.

Amara watched Orion leave before she walked over to the bed and sat down. She slowly took off her cloak, laying it next to her before she looked at the basket. As curiosity took over and she grabbed the basket. A look of shock filled her face as she looked back towards the door, wondering if someone was there she could thank, but she didnt see anyone. Amara ate a little bit of the food before she placed the basket down, not sure how often she would get food. She laid down on the bed and gave a small sigh. It wasnt a bet fit for a queen, but it was soft.

Orion couldn't help but tap his fingers against the desk, his mind rushing faster and faster towards a proper solution in regards to Amara. He could train her abilities and make her work for him to prove to everyone, but there was also the problem of how Sokoya would think of this. She despised humans, even though she found them tasty, and he would definetely get an earful from her sooner or later about her. "Orion, are you seriously going to keep her? What are you trying to do... hypnotize her into becoming your wife or something absurd like that? Maybe you want her for company since you don't attach yourself to anyone else within the dungeon." He sighed with irritation is his mind only continued to rack up the possible problems with keeping her around, but he saw some promise with her, so he would at least try before he gave up. She's probably not very impressed with the room I gave her, but she has to earn her keep, and that includes her quarters.

Amara looked up at the celing, tilting her head a bit before she rolled onto her side. A wave of tiredness washed over her, but she wasnt sure if now would be the best time to sleep. Amara gave a small sigh before she slowly got up and walked over to the mirror, taking off her fake armor, revealing a dark blue dress, with some gold looking trim that she had made herself. She placed the armor on the stand before she smoothed out her dress, wondering now if she was allowed to make more dresses, or if that would be something else she needed to work on getting things for. *Do the others down here even like things like this* she thought as she looked back at the mirror, seeing some dirt in her hair. Giving a sigh she tried to pull it out, but it didnt work very well, causing Amara to look down at her feet.

Orion tapped his fingers on the table habitually, his mind only speeding up as he tried to find the perfect answer when it came to what he should do with Amara. I should be protective of her at the start, but somewhere along the line I have to treat her as another one of the surgeon's inhabitants, otherwise there may be those who think I am playing favorites and harbor resentment against me. He looked up at the ceiling before looming at the door, waiting for another minute before he opened it and walked past Sokoya on his way to Amara's room. He placed his hand on the handle to open it, but he stopped himself to not only grab his mask and put it on but also to knock on the door out of courtesy for her. "Amara? When you have a moment I would like you out here so we can talk further." He said through the door, ignoring the question gaze of his naga bodyguard.
